lost cat ? pv

14th of May, 2021, around 4pm
Usually, it was rare to see Noah walking around in a good mood. He was often zoned out and bored, not entirely sure what he was doing or why he was walking around the castle. It was just one way to kill the boredom since he didn't have much else to do other than get around to finishing his homework, but honestly, he wasn't having that many problems with that lately, sometimes he did end up having to stay up late at night doing some last-minute assignments but usually it went pretty well and he didn't have to work that hard anytime to catch up with anything lately.

But the past few weeks or so, Noah wasn't quite as dead inside as he usually was. If one didn't look close enough, they'd think he was about to fall asleep any second now. But if they looked closely and they knew how he usually used to look, they'd notice a slight change, he wasn't entirely as bad off as he was before. There was a certain amount of excitement within Noah now. Something to look forward to for once.

Noah had been in a slightly better mood ever since the last ball but the idea of another blossom ball approaching soon had made him feel quite excited indeed. He was still zoned out but instead of questioning life he was now looking forwards to the ball, actually feeling pretty good about how things might go whenever that happened.

Although today was one of those days that he felt moody. He still thought about the ball but he wasn't as excited about it as he usually was. Sometimes he got tired of thinking about the ball over and over again, especially when it was still a bit far away and he knew he had to wait so much.

Today was another day that Noah found himself walking around the grounds. He kind of had a routine where he would walk around the castle just about every day and he always ended it with the grounds but today he decided to spend most of his day on the grounds instead. He had been walking around for a while and felt a bit tired, he decided to sit down on the grass and stare at the lake.

He spent a few minutes just sitting there before he felt something near his arm, he was pulled back from his reverie as he looked down at what it was. A cat was sitting there, sniffing his hand. Noah blinked. He wasn't entirely sure what to do. He didn't see animals often, he never had one back home nor did he have friends that had pets (not that he had any friends to begin with [besides maybe one but he wasn't sure if he could call it friendship yet.]) As such, it was rare for Noah to come across animals in this manner, where he wasn't just staring at them from afar but actually interacting with them.

He stared at it for a while as the cat stared back. He blinked. So did the cat. It wasn't long till the cat decided to stop the staring contest and started creeping around Noah and purring at him. Noah wasn't sure what to do but he didn't particularly mind it. To be honest, he'd probably go as far as to say that he was actually enjoying it. He didn't quite like it when someone approached him. Something about people saying things he didn't really care about to him was quite annoying to him. Of course, it wasn't often that happened and he was thankful for that but he also wasn't disappointed to have the cat randomly come up to him, it was a nice feeling to just have the cat do absolutely nothing but just keep purring at him and walking around every now and then. He wasn't even zoning out much, it wasn't the most entertaining thing to be staring at a cat do nothing but it oddly did hold his attention, it was fascinating in a way. He wasn't sure why but he was having a great time at the lake today.
