Erin would let out a battle cry as she lunged at Percival. The death witch was not going to get away this time. With the grace of a linebacker on steroids, the bare-footed goddess would barrel past the party-goers and with a bounding leap she would crash into Percival's ribs. It was the sort of impact that would take one's breath away, not in the passionate way that a lover would but rather the type that occurs when a fist meets a solar plexus.

She would aim for the tables, the hard edge of the table would add additional damages. The edge of the would greet him fondly and the drinks would come crashing down. A waterfall of colored fluid, questionable substances. "I have been poisoned!" She screamed as the sticky, sweet scented drinks splashed her in the face and made a mess of her bedsheet gown.

"Don't drink it. Don't drink it! Tis vile. Tis death!" She cried as Percival slammed into the ground. Erin would scramble on top of him. Not what the Slytherin pictured had the consideration of being pinned by a girl ever came to mind. No, this was not an adolescent dream, this was a nightmare.

Erin's sticky hands would reach for Percival's collar as a pair of spells were incanted to her rear.

Slugulus Eructo.

Immobulus.

...Finite Incantatem?

She knew the voice of the last. Why was he helping her? The one who pretended to be what he was not. Not who, but what. He pretended to be something to her. He did something worse than most because he gave her what she never had before, an inkling of hope. A sense of contentment, potentially even happiness. The loss was worse than never knowing, never having, never hoping.

A sudden, sharp pain could be felt in her chest. Her face contorted into something ugly, twisted and angry... no sad. Glassy eyes would close tight, her brow would furrow. Don't think about it. Don't look. He is not there. Her hands would grope for his throat, finding his shoulders she would grip his collar. "Confess monster!"
Action: Nothing yet, letting everyone else get a chance to regroup after the mod.

Just a trick of the lighting they said...

Well, the situation had quickly devolved. The near naked first year would rush to the edge of the fray. The girl who had piqued his cousin's interest had mounted his dormmate. "Merlin, get a room," he complained. Others took things more seriously, another girl from his house cast the immobilizing charm and Vladimir cast the slug-vomiting charm. Neither actually landed, perhaps she had a real talent for combat.

Poor Percival, we will miss you fondly in the dorm.

Oh wait, he was supposed to do something. To intercede, peel the rabid girl off of him and be the 'good guy.' Sigh Coming coming... Snape dorm something-something most surely. Less the potential broken collar bone his dormmate might be afflicted with, the evening had gone without well... a hitch.

That was until Jack got tangled up on the wrong side. "Jack, get out of the way!" It would have been over nice and quick had the Snape dorm member not gotten himself involved. "The girl is nuts, she is going to kill Grey!" A truth, a rarity.

Mathias was not going to manhandle the screeching spider monkey that was trying to murder Percival, he only stood a chance in a footrace where he got a ten minute start and the track was five minutes long. His best option was Jack. Yes, wiry Jack, the teen might have been older, more practiced in magic but he was not much bigger than him. In a fight involving wands of magical wood, he would lose most assuredly. In a fight involving reactions, the Slytherin was terribly predictable.

Mathias would attempt to snatch away Burnett's wand. No spell used, a simple snatch, grab and RUN. Yes, run. Why run, so he could be chased.

If he succeeded or not, when he turned around he would see her.

"Argh!"

A girlish shriek.

"I am not irrelevant."

"Merlin, Jack is right there!" He would point down, adjacent, possibly still attached if they were grappling over a wand. "Take him!" Matt was not the sort to pretend to be brave, hell demon, take my first born! Take Jack first! Leave my soul be!

Her claws, she was attacking!

Well, not attacking. She was after the bandages she was partially at fault for. Well, Jack was more at fault for them as he cast the spell. Mathias would stumble backwards, potentially fall into Jack as she tore at the bandages (as they were mot mentioned in the moderation) that were hanging about his neck (presuming he got them mostly off already as they were unmentioned).

"Nor am I subservient."

She declared. If that was the actual case, then why did she need to convince him? Not that he was going to drive home that point right now, there was high priorities. It was obvious that the girl lacked the faculties to triage such matters, that was why like most women, she needed a man. That man being jack of course, not him. "N-no, of course not sweetheart," he stammered. A bit busy right now woman! "There is a bit of a-- situation" He would attempt to wrest control of Jack's wand, the casting one, manually. If he is successful (or if Jack allows it) he would take the wand and hand it off to Winnie. Let Jack take on the harpy before she digs her claws into his flesh also.
Action: Snatching away Jack's wand before he does any more damage.

Meant to be together, Merlin, this girl was really pulling out all the clichés, wasn't she? Plans of elopement (or abducting Kaz, honestly, wouldn't put it past her), a thinly veiled death threat, and Dee's expression grew slightly concerned.

At least Kazuo was still playing along, and Dee's grin widened for just a moment before she sobered up a little. She'd had her fun, at Kazuo's expense as much as at his stalker's. Lavinia, however, was obviously not taking it as such, and, well, she did still need Kazuo. She should probably help him instead of sabotaging his attempts further, especially as didn't seem very entertained by Lavinia's antics.

Another rant from the girl, and Dee gave Kazuo a questioning look. Love of her life? Did he even know this girl? What was happening. A little pity in her voice. "No matter how interestingly absurd this is, are you going to stop and think a second?" she asked, finally. "I'm not trying to make you doubt your feelings or whatever, no matter how unlikely they seem, how would I know what's going on in your head? But do you really think that threatening to murder his fiancée, attempting to kidnap him, insulting his date, and acting like you've overall lost your marbles is going to get you anywhere?" Straightforward, no fancy stories about girls thousands of miles away, no backhanded insults. This girl was a Ravenclaw, shouldn't logic work on her?

But then, the culmination of Lavinia's romantic assault, while in the background, spells started flying, and Dee blinked, startled. Lavinia's poem was... well, kind of terrible, honestly. Yet Dee's attention was torn, split towards where spells flashed through what had so far been a (comparatively) peaceful ball, a smashed lantern aside. Her gaze flickering towards the commotion, she tried to sort out what was happening, but didn't reach any conclusion before Kazuo's squeaked protest drew her back to the crazy girl at hand, just in time to take in Kaz's horrified expression at the lips on his cheek.

A surprised giggle escaping her, Dee covered her mouth with her apple-free hand, eyes wide. Well, she'd tried. Apparently more force was necessary here, and it was time to wrap this up. Apple switched hand, and she drew her wand. She couldn't help the condescension in her voice, this was truly pathetic. "Lavinia, I don't know what signals you're receiving, but Kazuo isn't interested. Please, let it go, before I have to hex you?"

At last, Dan entered the area for the Spring Festival. Or rather, he entered it without intent to do a trial. No, the trials were done already, and Dan entered as a heroic Demigod, having completed the gods' trials.

The decorations were as lovely as he remembered them, and everyone was dressed in togas. He smirked that he was the only one to think of this outfit. He was so creative! The Son of Hermes entered further, and tried to decide what to do. He knew that eventually things would all go down a shit spiral, so maybe he should get some food and drinks while he had the chance to.

But then, he saw a cute red haired boy. One that was extremely familiar to him. One that he had went on a lunch date on, and then he vanished.
A habit Dan was getting SUPREMELY tired of people doing.

Ruka.
Ruka had come to the ball. Dan wanted to be angry at him, but found that he couldn't. Why couldn't he bring himself to hate the people who hurt him?

Dan looked about for a distraction, and saw several people trying to get themselves killed by fighting Erin. Natural selection at it's finest.
But. One of them was Vlad. The asshole who had orchestrated the Fight Club and let Jack get Victor killed.
But. Dan honestly was not concerned. Erin could more than handle herself, and if she couldn't, there was no way this lot could do worse than the bludgers. And, He was told by his therapist- Okay, well he was told by Andy, but it might as well have been a therapist- that he was to enjoy himself at this ball. The first was ruined by giants, the second was ruined by mosps and fire, this one, Dan was determined to have a good time. If he had to ignore trouble, he would.

He walked over to the table, full of drinks of many colors. Dan had to debate in his head which to try. Of course, being a Slytherin, first instinct was to take the emerald green, but. Today, he was a demigod. A Son of Hermes. Who's sacred colors were blue and black. For obvious reasons, Dan was hesitant to drink something black. So, he took a cup of the cobalt blue, and downed it.
Actions: Entering, and having a drink of the cobalt blue.

If Cassie hadn't known better, she would have said that that punch was magical. Energy seemed to flow through her veins, her heart pumping and pumping and pumping, her breathing fast and a smile on her face. She spun around, pushing herself and Charlie to go faster and faster and faster and faster and faster until- "Ow!" Her head bashed into her friends' and she stumbled backwards, grinning even through the headache which was begining to settle in. She took a few gasping breaths to try calm herself down, but it was fruitless. Cassie giggled a little and grinned at Charles. "I feel like I've just filled myself with sugar," she confided happily. "It's awesome!"

The world was way too slow for Cassie right now. She wanted to sing, and jump, and dance, and shout to the heavens. She was full of boundless joy and energy. She felt like she could do anything. Cassie Heather tipped her head back to look at the sky, still surprisingly light. "Look at the clouds," she breathed. "It's like we're on top of the world. I love it." Cassie was fairly sure that she could stay here for the entire night, and she'd never get tired. She'd never need to sleep. The feeling was wonderful and intoxicating. She just wanted to open her arms to the world and let it all in, let it all into herself. Her heart was so full it was almost about to burst.

Cassie grinned at Charles again. "Race you to the lake? I promise I won't push you in," she joked, although now she looked at it she was totally sure she could race Charlie there, and win too.

"Well, it is finally good to talk to you Quinn. Hopefully, the ball will go well for both of our sakes..." Percy grumbled to Quinn, whose height only deemed to make him and others look like ants below. Even though he had been living in the magical world all his life, part giants always look strange and unnatural to him. Not to the point where he hated them or found them revolting, but to a cautious level.

Next to him, Santario answered his introduction, commenting about his past plate throwing skills which were dreadfully lackluster. Percy couldn't help flash a smirk at the comment, it would have been a lie if he didn't find it slightly humorous "I'm afraid you're right Santario, but I'm hoping I won't have to it again. If the same event happens again, it won't be the bee's trying to kill us, but our own people" Percy speculated as he looked at her with a cold expression, showing that he didn't any bad blood against her but at the same time providing a stark warning of what was sure to come.

Finally, his head turned to Nico who explained that she was doing well. Frankly, it was good to hear since she had been having a rough time since the whole incident. Nonetheless, all she needed to do was keep moving forward "Good to hear, and so far yes, it has been surprisingly calm" Gray said back, who suddenly shifted his eyes to an unpopular face.

Vlad... the man that everyone seemed to hate. He saw him with Erin only a few minutes before talking to each other about something unknown. Percy knew he was there, but he didn't have any business with him at the time, nor a problem which everyone else seemed to have. Gray slowly folded his arms and glared at the kid, studying the interactions of others around him as he tried to take Quinn away somewhere. It always had to start with someone, and Vlad seemed to be a magnet for it "Alright everyone, calm down would you?" Percy shouted, his eyes glaring at everyone around him "Do you want ano-" was the only thing he could say before someone yelled behind him.

Percy quickly turned to face the source, only to see an enraged Erin Ryan barreling towards him! His eyes widened slightly as Ryan tackled him backward, forcing him to go crashing through the table. Drinks flew everywhere as the pair fell to the floor, covered in a mixture of different party drinks that had yet to be used. Percy felt a sharp pain go through his back, one that made him groan and grit his teeth in agony. Being tackled into a table was not what he expected so early into the ball, especially by a girl who seemed to be out of her mind "Oh for merlin's sake..." grunted the pureblood with discomfort while Erin scrambled on top of him.

Erin forcefully grabbed a hold of his collar to which Percival offered no resistance, all he could do was look up to her with an expressionless look. She urged him to confess his misdeeds, almost as if he was something that he wasn't. At first, he was silent, but slowly his mouth started to form into what looked like a snarl "I'm no monster, Erin, but I can be if you want me to" warned Gray, his hand slowly reaching up to hers as an indication to let go "Anois, cén fáth nach ligfidh tú dom imeacht sula dtarraingítear daoine eile isteach sa phraiseach seo? Níl tú ag iarraidh mise mar do namhaid, ná gach duine eile timpeall ort" Percy said to her in a different tongue, a language that most Irish should be familiar with.

The longer they were in this situation, the more like people were going to get involved. He quickly snapped his head left and right, noticing the unrest and the drawing of wands around them "If any one of you decide to fire another blasted spell at Erin I'll make sure to slap the tastes from your mouth, you hear me?! the same goes for anyone else" he shouted openly with a growl, his attention snapping back to the girl above him.

Action: Tries to calm down Erin the peaceful way
Translation: Now, why not let me go before others are dragged into this mess? You don’t want me as your enemy, or everyone else around you

He found this area much more suiting for a school dance. Simon watched as they passed couples that were dancing, couples that were arguing, some wishing no one would ask them to dance, and some that probably didn't want to be sitting in isolation.

The tables were right up front, filled with fruit and pastries (never his favorite), cheese and refreshments. Flowers were everywhere and whereas the first area seemed to be darkness, this seemed to bring light. Simon picked up one of the flowered crowns that rested at the edge of the a table and smiled before gently and perfectly placing it on Haley's head. He then too took a drink although he doubted he would like it. He preferred water over any sort of punch no matter the occasion but this was the Spring Festival and he would try and indulge in all of it.

Simon was finishing consuming his drink as Haley asked if he felt like dancing. She would know his answer. When did Simon Kincaid not want to dance? He caught her wink and curious look, as if still playing along like she had to lure him in and he smiled, following her over to the dance floor.

A few students were doing some rather questionable dance moves - not in the sense that they were inappropriate but just - rather odd. Perhaps it was dances from the visiting wizarding schools. Simon walked around boy as he moved his arms about and backed up and then joined back with Haley with a laugh. He was glad most were enjoying themselves but now it was he and Haley's turn.

"We shall," he said, finally verbalizing an answer to her question about dancing. He held out his hand and when she took it, he pulled her in close, lead them into a sort of full turn, and then spun her out. The music playing was upbeat and fun and so that's the way he would keep his dancing.

"I'm grateful you accepted my invitation, Miss Rose," he said playfully, as if there were any doubt.

" The macarena alright and it appeared you are the master of it Cass," Charles replied to Cassie as drunk from his glass not thinking anything about it at first but listened to his friend's words while also keeping a eye out for the other two in their group.

"I didn't think you care for the ballroom dance last fall," Charles replied with a half grin as he remembered trying to teach her the waltz but that ended early along with their supposed date. Cassie then left for the hunt and he engaged himself in a fist fight with a few fellow Dumstrangs if the blonde remembered correctly.

"Hopefully they'll announce it soon, what do you think Cass? Do you think we won the queen and king of the ball?" Charles asked with a half grin imaging how he would brag to his fellow Dumstrangs about being awarded king at the hogwarts blossom ball before he would drain the rest of his drink before speaking"It would be grand if either you, me, Drew, or Scarlett won the king or queen of this ball as well," he would give the French girl a half smile as the conversation of the trials continued.

The blonde would listen to list out her favorite ones, needing a moment to think of them himself since there were definitely one or two trials that he enjoyed more than the others specifically because they didn't include factual knowledge or magical ability.

"My favorite trials were probably the Apollo and Hermes ones, the race was pretty cool and the performances were fun to," the blonde admitted a liking for both of them as for his least favorite trial he would probably say Hades or Orpheus because of what it showed was his deepest desire which was the next point in their conversation.

"A broom race with your friends and family supporting you that's pretty neat Cass," Charles admitted and thought the girl was a rather good racer as well it was a shame what happened with the broom race at Hogwarts last fall through, " speaking of broom races, did you get your broom yet?" The blonde knew his friend didn't have a broom and was curious if her parents bought her one yet but unfortunately his questions couldn't stall the moment for when he had to reveal what he saw.

"It would have been grand for it to be playing in the quidditch world cup but unfortunately it wasn't, it wasn't my parents or brother either by my surprise," Charles spoke before looking around to make sure that the other two didn't arrive yet before whispering to Cassie in low French, " I saw Drew, my Ilvermorny friend. I think.... I think that I'm-" Charles looked at his friend in the eyes Cleary nervous to say what he was about to say, I'm gay and I think I have a crush on Drew."

The blonde felt awkward revealing this to Cassie but trusted her, trusted her enough that she was the only one shi knew both secrets something he would tell the girl in French, " You the only one I told about both so please don't let me regret telling you and don't tell anyone about either one, especially Drew," the blonde would nod toward the girl as he placed the now empty glass on a table besides them before hearing the girl's words about dancing.

"Maybe we should wait for Drew and Scarlett until we start a congo line," the blonde suggested figuring that it would probably catch on if four people started the line rather than just two.

However it seemed his friend still wanted to dance and naturally Charles agreed as he allowed Cassie to pull his out onto the dance floor with a wide grin.

The Dumstrang would move his hips to the rhyme of the beat before feeling Cassie gasped his hand and her voice in his ears, the Dumstrang thought the idea sounded fun as he spoke" sounds fun, alright let's see who could get a larger headache,"
Charles would pick the speed and spin himself faster with Cassie smiling watching everything go around in brief flashes now but at the same time his head started to ache and vision become burly. If he would have paid attention in potions then he would have known that his drink was mixed with; Amortentia which was a strong love potion.

The two would break away after a painful collide of their heads, Charles would rubbed his head still feeling weird as he mumbled half heartily, " I think that was a loveee potion..." before the blond would lock eyes with one of the balls organizers; Kazou Shimada and the love potion would take effect. Creating a feeling of obsessive over the Hogwarts boy within Charles as he stared at him and instantly nothing else mattered to him. As his vision blurred out all else besides from the black haired boy and the potion made it impossible to think of anything else for the time. The question was, how long would the potions effects stay around.

His dear and close friend, Cassie's words sounded far and he barley heard them as he nodded keeping his eyes on Kazou as he spoke" We are on top of the world, I love it," the blonde watched the raven haired boy with obsessiveness instead of a feeling of love or any emotions.

"Why race to the lake when we could race to him," Charles replied pointing toward the raven haired boy feeling like he should walk over and take him away from everything because of the effects of the potion. Love potions don't actually create love just a idea of love or obsession over someone, it could be dangerous at times and definitely ruin someone's night depending on how long it lasts for.

What unfolded before the eyes of Quinn was nothing short of chaotic. In the middle of their pleasant evening and when it finally seemed like for the first time things were going very well and normal at one of these events. The first bell tolled out in the form of a lad he didn't recognize until their name was spoken. It was a name he was growing familiar with and from what Santario told him as well as Nico. He tensed and nearly glared at Vladimir, "Ah do-" before he could really respond he was interrupted by a highly upset Nico.

'Oh she's just a treat isn't she. I change my mind Quinnifer, I rather like this fiesty little ball of terror now!' A sickly sweet, annoyingly high-pitched voice spoke in his head with a level and tone of sass that was so jarring it'd give most whiplash. But it was an all too familiar voice and one that still sent the hair on the back of Quinn's neck standing taller than redwoods.

Visibly Quinn pursed his lips and grimaced a bit. It'd been a long arduous process but he and Harlin had finally come to some sort of strained mutual understanding. He still didn't fully trust Harlin after everything he was put through but...to even the apparent shock of the voice itself. Well...that was a story for another time, now wasn't the time to get lost in thoughts not wh-

"Death Witch!"

"Oh for fucks sake" Three voices said in near perfect unison. With this statement actually slipping out of a very annoyed Quinn's mouth as his rival/mortal enemy/sorta unresolved trauma came barreling into the poor lad that was Percival Clay. Like a drunken bunch of old heads who came stumbling out of O'Malley's after a night of too much fun...he missed Dublin. In short the sight wasn't pretty, Erin looked terrible as always and he hated the fact he found her any sort of attractive.

With a heavy sigh he put down his tiny Queen, face hardening at the progressively worsening situation. He knew that he was probably going to get hurt again, but damn it...he refused to keep letting this gobshite happen. He walked over quickly after standing up to Erin and a pinned Percival. More unceremoniously then he probably should have, Quinn quickly looked for a secure spot he could grab while she seemed distracted. Then proceeded to literally pull off Percival with great force and attempt to restrain her not even caring if he injured her at this point as he was just done with her shit.

As this thought passed Harlin spoke once more, 'Oh Quinnifer I'm so proud of you, I could cry! Now throw that little devil through the wall and be done with it!' Yup. There it was, he was wondering when the other boot would drop. "Shove it you..." He cut himself off suddenly aware he was talking out loud and cursed himself mentally to the laughter of Harlin's glee. "Oi Percival ye alright? And you! Are ye out of ya goddamn mind! What the 'ell is wrong with ye and why do ye look like a weasel dressed you and did ya hair? Have ye no pride? No shame??"

Taking the opportunity he then looked around the craziness, and his eyes fell on Santario for a moment, he looked like he wanted to say something but then just as quickly let his attention go back to Erin. He would not make the same mistake a fourth time.

"Merde*…” She cursed under her breath as Erin managed to escape her and Vladimir’s spells. Not that it was precisely a surprise, but she had not been trying to hurt Erin, just trying to stop her from hurting someone else. Santario was about to attempt to hit the now very occupied older Slytherin when Percival’s voice spoke to Erin in Irish Gaelic, trying to calm her down. A language Santario understood well as it was her father’s mother tongue. It had been spoken many times in her household as she grew up. Something she was very fluent in, which shocked most who had not known her in the first half of her first year in Hogwarts.

She hesitated, wondering if he could genuinely calm her down. Then, of course, his threat followed in English, so Santario stood down, but her wand remained in her hand and at the ready. “As you wish.” She answered him formally, but her wand remained drawn. She was not going to put it away and possibly give Erin the chance to strangle him right then and there if he could not quell her misplaced rage.

Quinn, however, would be quick to act. Moving past the rest of them and trying to pry Erin off Percival. Though she did realize that he was saying things aloud that he usually would not. The others were speaking to him, which did not necessarily make this situation any safer depending on who it was. When he looked back at her, she slightly shook her head with a pointed look at Erin to help remind him that keeping his mind on his current objective was for the best. Now keeping in mind, this was a test of what he had told her at the beginning of the year. He couldn't blame her for possibly wondering if she'd have to cast at him at some point as well. Not until she saw the control.

Santario took a deep breath that resulted in more of a quiet sigh than anything else. One night? Couldn’t there just be one night where something was not going wrong? No. That was the quick and easy answer of it all. As long as the hags and their curses were in play, nothing would ever be okay. Even after they were gone, she was sure something would move in and take its place quickly. Hogwarts was the curse, or perhaps, they all were.
