Dear Dale,

Well thanks for the heads up about disappearing! Some friend huh? In all honesty it is quite weird without you around, nobody to go to Hogsmeade with or to bully hang out with when we don't have long, boring classes.

I'd be more than happy to send over some treats if you'd like! Is this your way of asking? I don't expect you to pay me back, but I will hold this above your head and you'll have to be my slave for a day eventually but I haven't decided when. Lucky you. Halloween is coming up so all you have to do is ask~

Don't worry about the short letter, probably easier on the owl anyways. Hope everything's going alright at home. I won't pry but I wish the best for you and your family or whatever is happening. I'll be sending back Eiryk, my owl for letters. You can use him whenever you'd like. He enjoys blueberry muffins by the way if you want to befriend him and not get nipped when he's grumpy. That way the letters won't get lost either, I agree with you I never know if this will reach the right person so if you aren't Dale reading this, uh.. send to a Mr. Dale Kurt?

Anyways.. Hogwarts, exciting? Nah.. same old-same old. I wouldn't put those two words in the same sentence. If I'm being honest, it's sketchy like usual more-so other stuff that I've overheard happening in the other houses. Nothing going on with Hufflepuff, er yet.. shouldn't get my hopes up that this year will run smoothly.

That and I guess CoMC is fun since it's our first year taking the class but besides that just wandering around and letting the days tick by. Man are they ticking by slow. Before we know it it'll be Christmas and I can get out of this stinky school. Do you know when you'll be coming back?

Dear Annie,

Trust me I also wish I had more of a heads up myself, everything happened so damn fast. But if I'm being honest it’s not all bad, no classes! Still have some school work to do that they send me .. sadly, and I swear this work is so much harder than it was last year.

I'd love some treats thank you very much, but only if you wanna. I’ll even let you pick out what you want to send me. And no it’s not because I completely forgot everything that was in that store. We’ll just have to go back when I get back to Hogwarts, I already kinda miss the permanently snowy climate of Hogsmeade. It's still kinda hot here even though it's almost Autumn.

Everything is relatively ok here, my mother is just very sick right now and Dad’s stressed since he can't secure any days off to nurse her, so it's up to me. Honestly not that bad right now, I get lots of free time, I've even been helping my mom write a bit for her book. Eiryks been pretty nice so far, he seems to like the blueberry muffins from my local bakery, hasn’t bitten me... Too much yet. I had to look up how to pet an owl correctly because I thought I was doing it wrong.. Turns out I think he just may not like me, It’s fine I'm sure he’ll come around soon enough.

Really nothing exciting at all? No people being set on fire, no crazy rumors, or anything like that. Damn I'm sad I missed out on that, I hope it stays that way until I'm back. Better boring than crazy I say… sometimes.

Well hmm, I don't have an exact date on when I'll be coming back, my mother's condition hasn't worsened at all, and she's been feeling better recently according to her, so maybe I'll be back after Christmas break.. But we’ll have to see. You’ll just have to hang in there for now!

Ah yes the boring lectures, honestly I don't think I could pay attention at home. Lucky you that you don't have to attend classes although doing homework at well, home doesn't sound appealing either. I mean I guess the late policy doesn't apply to you because owls sometimes are slow so that's a plus?

I never was a fan of the snow, but it seems to suit the atmosphere for Hogsmeade. Plus it gives me excuses to wear something other than our school robes when we go there. Sweaters all the way! Hmm do you like black licorice wands? I have come across very strong opinions both ways, I myself will eat it but it isn't my favorite. You may think I'm a grandma but my favorite candy from Honeydukes is the Sherbert Lemons. Tt's a muggle treat although I believe they call them Lemon drops but they remind me of home. And you can never go wrong with chocolate frogs, I'll send you any extras I may have as my collection is pretty decent.

I'm sorry to hear your mother is unwell but she luckily has you to look after her. My dad always ran around like a mad man when my mother was in the hospital. Just tell him to take it easy and get some sleep or else he will get over exhausted. I didn't know your mom wrote a book, that's super cool! What does she do for a job?

Eiryk thinks he is all hot stuff so I wouldn't try petting him unless he comes to you first. I got drawn to him because of his hoots actually, they are quite cute. If you hum he will try to copy you so try singing to him sometime it's pretty funny. I'm glad he likes the blueberry muffins from your bakery. Although if he eats too many the letters may arrive slower haha. Hey maybe I can visit you sometime and we can go there?

No fires over here, rumors well of course there always are rumors but it's more about some random first year's love life than anything. I'm not the best listener so usually I'd ask you about this stuff not vice versa. You say better boring than crazy? Hah!

I figured you wouldn't know when you'd arrive back here, but hey on the up side it's good that she says she is doing better. After Christmas break it is then! Now I'll have to start thinking of getting you presents. What do you even like? And don't say more sweets from Honeydukes, I will go broke before this school year ends with how much I am spoiling you. Be thankful I consider you my friend mister! But yes please come back soon and so help me if you stop writing I now know where you live and can send you ink or parchment if I have to. Eiryk knows the command "bite" so be warned.

Oh come on the lectures were never that bad, it was always the homework for me, that and any assignment that involved casting a spell, It's incredible how bad I am at casting spells. Oh the late work policy is the best, as long as the work gets in I basically get full points, and every quiz/test is technically an open note for me.. I don’t know if Hogwarts checks the contents of the owls that come in so ill just cover my basis and say that was just a joke, and that I would never cheat…

Anyways yea another big upside of being home is I don’t have to wear those horrible robes all the time, I remember loving them my first year, but now I just feel like I'm constantly overheating in those things. But really Annie… You’re allowed to wear whatever you want and you choose sweaters? Maybe I'll have to give you some fashion advice. I don’t think I've tried the black licorice wands, but I'm very much on the “I hate it” part of the spectrum. I think I remember the sherbert lemon, I like those too, but yea I think my muggle grandma would give me candies called lemon drops, but it was a long time ago so I'm not really sure, but still good nonetheless. Ah yes, chocolate frogs, I think when I get back I'm going to really try to collect some more of the cards, my collection is lacking right now, I only have around 30 or so cards.

My mom seems to be getting better week by week.. Maybe I should look at a career in healing after Hogwarts. Ha could you imagine that… me in healing, I would panic and cast the wrong spell or something like that. I've been trying to tell my dad to relax but his work is really pushing him to the limit. I'm not really sure what to do to help him, but my cooking skills are getting better day by day, so that's a definite plus. Maybe I’ll even cook you something when I get back if they let me use the kitchen that is.

Ah! Have I never told what my mom does before? Weird… well she's an author, she writes about all kinds of things, she’s not famous or anything but her books are really good. She just started writing a new one so I’m helping her think of ideas and with any kind of feedback she might need, It’s honestly pretty fun.

Eiryk seems to be warming up to me, I've given him many blueberry muffins though… I hope you don't mind. He even lets me pet him once or twice without trying to bite me so great Progress, by the time I'm back we’ll be best friends. On the topic of pets though, I was thinking about getting a pet before next year. Not really sure what I want, I don’t think I could handle an owl, so I was thinking maybe like a cat.. Or like a rat, maybe even a spider. Honestly, I have no idea, there are so many good options. I’d love to hear your thoughts about it!

Oh, trust me I thank.. Merlin? I think I said that right, I thank him every day that you were the one who caught me at Hogsmeade that day. Also kind of related but, how are you able to convey such sarcasm over owls, it really does baffle me. But for gifts I'm not really sure, I’d really appreciate anything, but if I had to choose maybe a book? What would you want for Christmas, gifting is a two-way street. And don't worry I'll pay you back for all the spoiling later, trust me!

I mean they'll probably be suspicious why you suddenly pass all your classes when you stay at home eh? Unless you still don't pass even when you have "open notes". I can agree with yah though, casting spells is not my strong suit what so ever. Thus I am in quidditch and not dueling. I would be more of a liability for my team than a help.

Don't even get me started on your fashion sense. I haven't seen you outside of your robes since last year's blossom ball and by god why did you chose a pink suit! It conflicts your skin tone and just.. why pink it's a horrible color. Sweaters are cute and comfy. You should try turtle-neck sweaters I can totally see you in a black one and some nice khaki pants. I am taking you shopping sometime in Ireland whether you like it or not.

Noted. No black licorice for you. I'll go with pumpkin pasties and sherbert lemons then. You sound like you lean more towards sweet and fruit candies then hm? Also you are very much lacking on your card collection, what a shame. Maybe if I feel nice I'll toss in some free cards, but I am keeping the chocolate for myself. Plus I dunno if they would melt if I send them or if Eiryk would accidentally tear the pack and a chocolate frog falls from the sky on some poor Muggle kid's face.. that would be traumatizing.

Huh you being a healer, never thought of it but sometimes you get motivated it could happen. I'm not going to bash on you and say you'll never be it cause you never know, could surprise me and become the Minister of Magic someday (highly likely in my opinion) but hey. Woah Dale the cook? Now I could see that. That's how you pay me back, I get you sweets and I will become your food sampler instead. Try not to poision me then you'd have to go back to option B of becoming a healer. And no one wants that. Especially not me if it's a matter of life or death due to your cooking.


Well duh I don't really know anything about your family. I guess it's not a popular conversation with people, or maybe it is and I just avoid it. Eh anyways, that sounds cool. Any job is awesome as long as you like doing it you don' t have to be good at it. Unless your like an auror or professor and then you probably should know what you are doing.. I'd love to get a copy when she is done with whatever she is writing and I am open to look over it and edit it too since I have quite a bit of free time.

As long as Eiryk doesn't become a circle and remains an oval I think he'll be good. His flight to you burns off enough energy from the treats anyways.. I hope. Good for you that he's warming up but don't try to steal my owl. You should get your own pet! What would you have in mind anyways? I don't see you as a cat or owl person. Maybe a spider but.. don't come anywhere near me with a giant tarantula or we will have problems. A rat. Huh easy enough to take care of and kind reminds me of you. This is a joke don't tear into me please. But I think a rat suits you. Heck I can even imagine it riding on your shoulder or in the pocket of your robes. Just.. don't squish it or try transfiguration on one if you do get a rat..

Really now? Didn't scare you off at Hogsmeade I thought I made the worst first impression and then I dragged you all through town the entire afternoon. Merlin knows how we are still friends or at least how you still stand me. Sarcasm over owls? Me? Shocker. Maybe it's the way you read my owl. I kind of get your voice in my head when reading your letters. You have a sarcastic and questionable undertone to me at least. Kind of like a confused but very egotistical first year but I dunno.

Books.. hmm well that's oddly specific and also tough since I don't know what you like. Ah well I have time to figure it out, it is only late October. As for gifts for me.. keep it simple I guess? I like handmade stuff like but if you aren't crafty just buy me a cool looking quill or perhaps a potted plant. I can always use more plants. I am the epitome of a Hufflepuff. Sweaters, plants and reading. Ah well, hopefully that was helpful.

Oh please, they would not be surprised if I was suddenly doing very well in my classes, because I always do well! I have no idea how, but I manage to pull it off, I’d like to say it’s one of many many skills. Oh, you know… I was thinking about joining the dueling team next year! Iv started practicing casting, im slowly getting better, duelings gotta be the perfect way to improve my casting abilities, maybe ill even invite you to be my targ- ahemI mean dueling partner. I'm sure your team appreciates you more, maybe for your next game I'll come and cheer for you, but I don't know how my Slytherin housemates will feel about that.

Ok I admit, that was a poor choice, but I really didn’t have much of an option. And in all fairness… It was rather comfy, and what's wrong with pink! It's a great color that really makes you pop in a crowd.. So I'll never be wearing it again, but it's still a good color. And I'll have you know, I look good in robes. I'd even wear them more if they weren't so miserable to wear. I don’t see how you think sweaters are cute, maybe we’re thinking of two different kinds of sweaters, whenever I think of sweaters I think of those like.. Ugly ones you wear around Christmas. Maybe you’re right, I think I could benefit from some new clothes, I can't wear the same jeans and t-shirt forever I guess. But I don’t know about a turtleneck, those things seem.. Highly uncomfortable and really itchy, I’d like to avoid that thank you very much. But i'll save up some money, I think i'll need a lot for our next trip, not that i'm complaining or anything.

You know I haven’t seen you in anything but your robes either… except maybe at the ball last year.. I think you wore a dress or something, but honestly I try to not remember anything from that night.. Or the day after. But anyways, I'm sure the packaging the frogs come in have some kind of protection against melting or like if they fell into the hands of a muggle. If not, I agree that poor muggle kid is gonna sound crazy to all of his friends the next day. And anyways I would appreciate any card you give me, I can’t really get them here so you’re going to be my sole supplier till I'm back.

I think my sweets taste comes from the fact that most muggle candies, or the most popular ones are fruit flavored. I think you'll like them a lot actually, i'll see If I can bring some for you when I get back. But they have a lot more sugar in them than the wizard stuff, which can be a good or a bad thing really. There’s also a much wider selection of muggle candies, like an almost endless amount really, but they are all pretty good.

I think I could be a healer if I wanted… but I think I see myself doing something with magical creatures, that's If I even stay in the magical world. I've thought about leaving it after Hogwarts and living a regular muggle life, but I'm not even sure if that is allowed, I'm very confused by it all. It's fine though I have plenty of time to figure it out. But Annie, MINISTER OF MAGIC? Me? Dale Kurt, the muggle-born who failed casting Lumos? I don't even know what the minister is truly, Jesus Merlin you think way too highly of me! I think you have a much better chance at being a Minister than I do. I think I see you more as a .. Hmm.. an Auror! You’re already a damn good prefect, I'm sure there’s some kind of correlation between the skill of a prefect and the skill set of an Auror.

Yes I can cook now, getting better day by day. I can’t really cook a variety of things, but hey quality over quantity right. And I think if you rephrase that deal of yours, you get me sweets, and I give you free homemade food, then that sounds much better and fair. Don’t worry I haven’t poisoned anyone *yet*, but hey if you get poisoned you get to.. Skip class maybe? I think it's a damn good deal.

Huh, I suppose we don't talk about our families much. If you don't mind me asking then, what do your parents do? And I should be able to get a copy of the book for you, but it’ll take some time, upwards of a year really. My mom’s a bit of a perfectionist, so it takes forever just to complete one chapter. But enough about families… In what way do I resemble a rat? I don’t even know if that's an insult or not. And tarantulas are perfectly harmless, and they can also be cute. And my possession would be very well guarded if I did get a tarantula. But a rat would scare the least amount of people, and I doubt the professors would let me take a tarantula out and about in the castle. But I do like the image of it riding on my shoulder and going around with me in my pocket. And it would be good if one of my closest friends wasn’t afraid of my pet. But ill give it more thought still have a lot of time.

I am definitely not crafty at all, but I'll see what else I can do. I won’t ruin the surprise but I have a few good ideas.. If I’m feeling generous I might even get you more than one thing. You’ll just have to wait and see!

I find it hard to believe you do well in classes, but hey you never fail to surprise me. Prove me wrong though and you'll end up locked in the broom closet. I could maybe see you on the dueling team. I agree it's a good way to get practice in for spell-casting although I'm already on Quidditch and not that motivated to leave and or get hit with knock-back jinxes all the time. But hey, you do you. And don't use me as a test dummy. I will not be under your influence for any sort of experiments especially when you have a wand. Haha as much as I'd love to be your dueling partner, that is against the rules my dear sir. Hey if you come cheer for me at a game, I'll be sure to come to a duel if you sign up and there is a protective bubble for the spectators. And then I'll also visit you in the hospital wing afterwards too.

Excuse you, not all sweaters are ugly. I do admit some are pretty bad, especially my dad's choice in them but I only wear ugly Christmas sweaters during well, Christmas like you are supposed to. Agree to disagree on the topic of pink though. Maybe it just suits you better than me. Any pale colors on me and I look like a ghost more than I already am. That's it, I'll come to a in between and get you a pink sweater. You can choose something for me as well as long as, so help me, it isn't ugly.

Yes I did wear a dress, as most people do. It's odd to see first years wear such formal stuff but as we get older I guess it's more common at balls. Whoo I can still remember some pure-bloods wearing this giant ball gowns. No thank you. So I am basically smuggling you candy huh? Would your parents be concerned at all if I just sent Eiryk with a giant package next time? Or better yet, do you have a floo network in your fireplace if you have one? I'll just dump boxes in there.. although I'd have to learn how that works first. Probably involves some complicated spell which is gross. Ah well I'll figure it out.

I heard a phrase of the greatness of a cook is measured by their scrambled eggs or something.. Maybe it was mashed potatoes.. Ah I'm probably just hungry. What's your favorite thing to cook? Can you bake as well? I'm more of a baker myself, I guess I just like getting messy with flour and what not but then I have to run off before my mom makes me clean the kitchen..As much as I'd like to try your homemade food that does not sound promising that you won't poision me. But depending on what it is.. I might take chances. You are right about skipping school although with the nurse in the Medical Wing I'd be back on my feet in a matter of hours so it's almost not worth the pain and trouble. Almost..

Oh.. well my mom was an astronomer for a bit and then took time off to raise me and well home-school me before I attended Hogwarts. Before she got injured that is. She was going to go back and well she got hospitalized for awhile. Now she stays at home and just does it for fun. My dad is a muggle, have I told you that? He is a botanist which means he studies various plants. Maybe that's where I get my liking for them? Anyways, he always wears this lab coat and goggles around the house in the indoor greenhouse he made. It cracks me up, especially when he gets leaves or twigs in his hair and beard. Well that's about it with totally exciting family.

I can wait, I will probably forget she is even writing the book anyways, but if I don't I will bug you about it until I receive a copy. I'm sure it's coming along great, you have my interest piqued now. I- well you don't really resemble a rat appearance wise. But personality wise you are both intelligent, I guess. And perhaps quiet but secretly mysterious and plotting several people's murder. There is NO WAY you will convince me tarantulas are cute. Nuh uh. If you get a tarantula I will send Eiryk over to exterminate it. Although he might do that to a rat anyways, he always watches them and pygmy puffs in fondness when I go to get him special food from Magical Menagerie.

Augh Dale you are killing me, why did I even bring up the idea of presents. I'm not patient at all. Especially when you tell me you have ideas. Don't you dare get me more than one thing cause then I'll have to get you multiple. And I just- you didn't give me any hints or clues besides books. Not helpful at all. Curse you!

Oh come on, I know I'm bad at magic but my paperwork is pretty good. If you need any help in any class, I am just an owl.. And like 3-5 days away. Quidditch looks fun, if not a little dangerous, especially with flying around at high speeds things. I'm honestly kinda surprised Hogwarts even allows it, but I guess they can also just fix any injury on the spot. And really? Is dueling just like for practice not allowed in the rules? Weird.. Maybe I should read the rules some time.

Ok fine, I think I'll agree with you with the sweaters thing, they can look pretty good. I would still never wear an ugly Christmas sweater, not even around Christmas, those things are an absolute eyesore. Ok I'll take that deal with pink, but I don’t think I’d ever wear pink again, it's a good color just uhh.. Not on me either, pink kinda goes against everything else in my wardrobe. I was thinking maybe just like a blake sweater.. Maybe dark green, We’ll just have to see what they have when we go shopping I guess.

Oh yes the dresses can be a bit… much, especially when you see first years wearing them. But it’s only the really rich purebloods, at least that’s what I've seen who wear those kinds of crazy dresses. I seriously wonder what’s up with purebloods sometimes.. It feels like half of them are living in the past, and the other half are just a bit crazy. Honestly half of the population of Hogwarts seems just a little off to me, but maybe that's because I went to a muggle school before coming to Hogwarts.

I do not have a floo fireplace, I kinda doubt muggle households can get one. And even If we could I assume those are pretty expensive. My parents wouldn’t mind, in fact I doubt they would even know, my mother can’t really leave her room, and my dad works all day, so its pretty much just me. I'll make sure to have extra blueberry muffins for Eriyk, he deserves them after that long trip with a heavy box.

How about I make you scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes, they go very well together. I’d say my favorite thing to cook would be.. Hmm.. I don't really have a favorite, but If I had to pick I’d be home made gnocchi, really fun to make, and delicious too. Oh I had no idea you liked to bake. How about we do a food trade next time we meet up, you make me something and I cook you something, though I'm pretty sure I'll be the one getting poisoned this time, I've heard it's pretty easy to mess up baking something. But hey if we both get poisoned, we can keep each other company at the hospital wing.

I had assumed you were a half blood, but your parents have pretty cool jobs, well in the case of your mom, but still. Botany’s pretty cool, actually kinda similar to my dad's job, except he does chemistry.. Which is kinda similar to botany I think. Oh wow you have an indoor greenhouse, that’s pretty cool, I've tried to like plants, it's just kinda.. Strange, especially the magical plants, those things confuse me a lot, and mandrakes just scare me.

I still don’t know whether calling me rat-like is a compliment or an insult, and I’ll have you know I would never kill anyone, the clean up would be way too hard. But I will accept the fact that you called me intelligent for once. Ok we shall agree to disagree on the spiders, I understand I’m one the few people that thinks they are cute. Eiryk doesn't necessarily have to eat my pet, they could be best of friends, I’b seenit happen before, but If he does, you better control him.

You don’t have to put too much effort into picking a gift, really I’ll be happy with socks. And with the books, surprise me, i’ll read just about anything, and I’m not opposed to getting more then one gift. Anyways, stay guessing till christmas!

Well magic and homework almost go hand in hand. That makes me glad I'm not in Charms class with you. Okay I should go with the saying don't judge a book by it's cover but you are another story (haha puns). Quidditch isn't any worse than Dueling. I mean think about it. Sure you get hit by a giant flying metal ball if you are unlucky, but I'd rather have a broken rib and a few bruises then be puking slugs or have all my hair and school robes destroyed by fire. Scratch that, the fire can have the school robes. Either way I'm sticking with Quidditch, trying new things is hard and not to mention scary. I will only end up in the Medical Wing by my own hands so keep your wand away from me or else I will not hesitate to make you clean all the shelves in the library. Don't mess with a woman with power mister.

What if it's just a normal sweater that you wear during Christmas? Like a maroon sweater or something with white designs? I'm not a flashy lights, reindeer type person. I'm rather casual with clothes actually. Hah I win, you don't like pink. I do like green although I am in Hufflepuff but there is nothing stopping me from liking it hm? I guess both of us have fairer skin tones so darker colors look better on us. Don't ask me why I know this, my mom thought I was finally giving into fashion, but I just didn't want to look like a clown threw up on me in my pre-teen years. Blend in with all the cool kids y'know? Well, seems like I still missed the mark anyways haha.

Yikes, the first years in formal clothing. Some of the shorter ones look like they are drowning in sparkles and cloth. Although I'm not one to speak, I haven't had a proper growth spurt in a year. Only 1 inch! I hope I grow a bit more. If I stay at 5'4 and everyone keeps growing I might pass as a part-goblin. Not to mention we have Quinn in our house and on the Quidditch team. So help me I want what he's having. Or I'll just carry a box or stilts around with me. That's a lot of work though. Maybe you can donate me some of your height eh? You are my friend after all and what are friends for?

Ah darn, I forgot that yeah a floo fireplace is probably not allowed where you live. Hmm packages it is. You'll be receiving stuff in the next letter so be prepared! Oi don't feed him too much, he'll turn into a blimp and float away. Don't get any ideas with practicing dueling on him either, I know it might be tempting but I will literally hex you if you try. If it's too heavy I'm sure he'll just eat some of the candy to lighten the load. He's pretty smart, but also naughty.

How nice of you to make me scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes, but I disagree. They don't go well together. The textures just.. contrast each other. One is spongy and savory the other is creamy and smooth. I've never had gnocchi so now you'll have to make that for me too. We'll just write down a list of all the things we plan to do. It'll probably take a week or maybe I'll get bored of you after a day who knows. I won't poision you, maybe. I'll give it to my parents to try first as a promise. I'd say give one to your mother but on the safe side, don't make her sickness worse. Just kidding you are probably a fine cook but I agree we can do a food swap. Do you have any favorite sweets besides the stuff from Honeydukes? Cookies, cake, pie, cobbler, brownies? I'm not making you no fancy stuff like chocolate mousse or anything though. I don't expect anything fancy in return although gnocchi sounds fancy. What is it anyways? Have I told you I am picky? It's weird cause I like trying new things but not food-wise.

Yup I am a half-blood, best of both worlds. I can understand the muggle-world pretty decently although I was homeschooled when I was a kid so I didn't go to a normal muggle school. I still understand the normal subjects and what not though. My mom taught me all the basics for both the wizarding world and muggle life. I dunno why my dad didn't teach me more, maybe cause my mother was afraid that he would explain something in too fancy of terms. I swear he doesn't speak English sometimes. Do all scientists sound so fancy or just me? What about your dad? Dads just make things sound more complicated I feel, but like on purpose. Oh gosh now I'm blabbering don't mind me.

Calling you rat-like is not a diss on you. Or at least I didn't mean for it to be. Okay maybe I did at the beginning but now I don't. Spiders. Yeah no. I don't get how people can think they are "cute". Sure they are cool with all of their legs and furry bodies and what not but besides that I don't understand. Hey, I can't always control Eiryk. He's my pet not a slave. We have a mutual partnership and hatred for tiny, furry creatures. And if something bad does happen I can always get you another one. Then we'd be even with me getting you the sweets and also me killing your pet.. accidentally.. totally..

Oh trust me I am not putting that much effort into finding you a gift I just don't know where to start. Good thing you aren't too picky with books I will uhh figure something out eventually. We still have a while anyways I should really not be worrying about this. And no, I am not getting you socks unless you want weird cartoon colorful wacky socks. I specialize in those. Anywho, have a Happy Halloween, I assume by the time you reply it will be close to the holidays. Candy is coming I promise!~
