"Oh my god!" Stanley screamed out in panic. His brain could not comprehend what had just happened. Everything had happened so quickly that realization had not hit the boy yet. He could no longer hear the patting of the rain on his clothes or the murmur of chatting from the stands. He could no longer smell the wet robes that stuck to his skin.
Ethan had not fallen from his broom. No one to save him.
His breathing and heartbeat had become erratic. A pounding headache was encroaching on Stanley's little brain. His tiny hand grabbed the broom that lay before him. Looking down at it, his vision became patchy with small tears. It was now or never. He either calmed down and went onto the pitch or he ran away and would be ridiculed forever by his peers. He would surely have to move schools.
Squinting his eyes, Stanley nodded and turned his head up to the sky. It was now or never. Now or never. "I can do this." He muttered to himself softly,
"Even if I fail I will have tried my best." Gaining back the two senses he had 'lost', Stan took a deep breath and swung his leg over the flying device.
"I have nothing to fear. It's just a small fall." Stanley took a large gulp as his feet left the ground. His eyes widened at the sight of how high he was flying off of the ground. Squeezing his eyes shut before tearing his face away from the ground his mumbled one last thing, "Oh god, help me."

Haley forgot to blink as she continued to watch the game. It almost felt like she was up there herself and even though she was just sitting down here on the bench, she was out of breath. Fingers still crossed, she kept repeating in her head - We can do this, we can do this, we can do this -.
She tried not to fret too much when Hufflepuff scored again. By now they had 100 points but she would not lose hope. She believed in her team and they still had a chance to make it somehow. At least that was what Haley kept telling herself.
Haley slid around on the bench again, propped her arms on her legs and her gaze was still fixed on the game.

Annie's taxi cab service seemed to be paying off. Howard managed to grab 2 of the 3 quaffles and score them both, all she had to do was focus on steering with given directions of course. A small flutter of excitement rose in her chest. This reminded her of what it felt like when she was a chaser. It quickly got wiped away as Ethen was the next unlucky target to plummet to the ground. Dang we were so close! She brushed away her thoughts and went to cheer on Stanley. "You got this Stanly, focus and we'll take some hits for you. The medical wing and I are good pals." The brunette joked, turning herself and Howard around on the broom, waiting for the next play. This game was uncomfortably close. Maybe, just maybe they could pull out a win.

@Alan VanesLuck had an uncanny knack of following the Britalian around, sometimes good, sometimes ill.
No matter what happened, the boy always seemed to be in the right place at the right time for something to happen.
This time it was when Alan's goal shot was so clean that nothing could have blocked it, not even the Hufflepuff Chaser Keeper.
Finishing up his lap, still bruised and a bit worse for wear, Piérre was back in the game. Ready for more.
But he was certainly getting worn out.

Take out the seeker.
Not matter how much her head hurt, it was what she needed to do. From what she could tell, Seeker-boy was gaining on the snitch, wherever it was. Meanwhile, Decipio and Beckett were nowhere near where Seeker-boy was. So, of course, she had to knock him out.
Scarlett didn't particularly enjoy knocking people out, but it was necessary if they wanted to win. She caught and hit a Bludger towards Seeker-boy, and her aim was true, the ball slamming into him and (hopefully) weakening him. Seeker-boy still stayed on his broom however. Then, D'Spacito went and attempted a blatch, which failed and brought a cacophony of jeers from the Hufflepuffs. Though Scarlett was by no means a fan of D'Spacito (he had hexed her in the shoulder), the Quidditch team was where her loyalties lied.
"Oi!" yelled Scarlett, as loud as she could through the booming thunder and lashing rain. "WE'RE JUST DOING OUR JOB HERE!"
She turned her attention back to the game, just in time to see Gris take down Seeker-boy. Scarlett pumped her fist. "YES GRIS!"
She beamed at her partner before flying off to continue the game.

It looked like the Hufflepuff seeker did manage to find the golden Snitch before Evelynn which would be quite dangerous for them. So Griseldis and her Beater partner really needed to knock off the rival team's seeker as soon as possible before he could catch it. They already came this far in this year's season, and it would be a shame if they lose the final game against the Hufflepuff team. The ruthless storm certainly wasn't too kind to any Quidditch players, but despite all that, the lioness would never give up. To help her team to have a better chance to win, it was their Beaters' duty to "eliminate the threat".
It wasn't like Griseldis enjoying seeing her targets to get hit by her and her partner's attacks, but she would be lying to herself if she wanted to deny this thrilling feeling every time she succeeded. But of course, she would feel a bit bad for those who got KOB by her when the game was over.
Back into focus mode, she first let her partner, Scarlett, to strike the Hufflepuff seeker first. She immediately cheered when she successfully hit their target with a perfect backbeat from her club. However, the ricochet, once again, was evaded by the other Hufflepuff players that were sharing the broom together. Well, better luck next time, perhaps? Griseldis thought to herself, then looked back at the poor seeker boy. One hit wasn't enough, though, but it was good enough to weaken him. Before Griseldis could aim a Bludger at the Hufflepuff seeker, their captain suddenly appeared out of nowhere and attempted to blatch the boy. She winced slightly when their captain's blatch failed. Honestly, that was unnecessary for him to do that, and now he had to do a penalty and missed one round of action. Griseldis wasn't bothered by the Hufflepuff crowd's loud cheers, or more like she wasn't even aware of her surroundings yet because her eyes were only focused back on the Hufflepuff seeker. It was a "now or nothing" moment where this one aim could really change the game's situation.
As if Merlin heard her prayers, the Hufflepuff seeker might be too weak to dodge the iron Bludger that was sending from her direction in time. This time, none of his teammates were there to save him from the fall. And that was when Griseldis finally heard the cheers from the Gryffindor crowds.

Ana completed another lap without comment. Partially because she didn't want to distract Decipio from her search, but also because she doubted she would be remotely intelligible due to the storm. Ana couldn't make out anything else of the game, beyond flashes of yellow and red and the occasional shouts. Not that it would have mattered. Right then, the only thing on Ana's mind was the Snitch and getting Evelynn to it.
Ana's eyes followed Evelynn's hand. "Hold on," Ana said before sharply rocketing upwards towards the glint of gold. While she loved Quidditch, playing in this downpour wasn't entirely pleasant, and with the Quidditch Cup on the line, it was even less so. She would rest much easier once the Lions had prevailed.
Long story short, I survived

A sense of dread pooled in the stomach of the young Captain, a nasty scowl appearing upon his face as his gaze narrowed in on the wayward seeker. Fuck, and he’d thought he’d upped his blatching game. It was a real shame, then, that he would have to take the next few minutes of gameplay completing a penalty lap. However, such dread came with a sudden bout of relief at the crack of a nearby bludger – his target had been promptly dethroned only a moment later, courtesy of the collective works of Griseldis and Scarlett. At least someone was playing well, he supposed.
Tightening his features, he turned his broom towards the pitch walls. Better make this quick, then.

INTERCEPTION
When a Quaffle is being passed, users with this ability automatically get a chance to Intercept the quaffle. This does not replace their normal action for the round. This put the quaffle in your and by extension you teams' possession.
Also, if the Quaffle is dropped for any reason, you would automatically (without it taking up an action) attempt another Quafflegrab. At present there would be no mid-round way to drop a quaffle due to the order of operations, however there will be certain effects in future patches that can cause this effect.
CATCH
Able to catch two falling players on your broom when playing Quidditch. These additional caught players would be brought to the ground safely and they would be allowed to retrieve their broom and enter play again the next round. This can be done every round as the player's action if they choose to do so.
With brooms that have the feature where an additional player may be caught (such as Bluebottle) where there is a stackable chance of failure with each additional person caught, there is no stacking failure chance for players with this ability.

Akari peeled her gaze off the sky for just a brief moment to rub her eyes after all the intent staring. It really truly was a miracle how her eyes had stayed fully enacted after all the darting back and forth while barely blinking throughout this game.
Eventually turning her head back upwards Akari hadn’t budged an inch from the spot on the very edge of her seat, an ever so popular question not ceasing to run through her head - what will happen next?
Oh well, again all she could do was continue wishing with all her might that her team would come out victorious in the end

mentions Ethen Emerys | Stanley Buttons may 2nd, 2021She didn’t know how. She didn’t know why. She didn’t know what to do.
Everything happened quick all at one time, right in front of Lindsey’s eyes. Howard and Annie contributed two goals, and then, and then - NO.
Although swinging into action at once, it was already too late. She watched Ethen evading a blatch, but then hit by a bludger true and fell off his broom. It happened so fast, faster than what she could imagine. Tears started forming in her chocolate brown eyes almost at once, and Lynn could hardly grip her broom handle tightly. No, no, NO.
She failed Ethen. She failed her team. Hufflepuff had a chance to win, and a high chance, but now due to her neglect they were almost certainly losing. Well, maybe not that certain, since she confided in Buttons, but it would certainly take longer for them to end the game. And if Decipio had spotted the snitch faster than Buttons - ah, she couldn’t think. It was all because of her. If she intercepted the bludger just like what she used to do, then nothing would happen. And if they lost…Lindsey was not someone that could easily be struck down by misfortune, but this time it was different. Failing her teammates was the last thing that could happen. What would her captains say? What would her housemates say? And what’s more, what would her family say?
Biting her lips hard, Lindsey raised her broom higher and gave an encouraging thumb to Stanley who was just kicking off. “You’ve got this, Stanley…” she mumbled, and raised her head up with determination. “We have to do this.”Stats: sta 7 (+3=10) · eva 6 (+3=9) · wis 7 (+3=10) · arc 6 (+3=9) · str 8 (+3=11) · acc 9 (+3=12)
