Even though Emma had been disturbed by her failure with Aurora, which she takes on her, she managed to do the following move. She was way less prepared for that one than for the previous one as she rarely saw that move executed. But! Emma had studied it, as she already studied every other Quidditch moves. Despite the fact that she doesn't like to study - at least it looks like she doesn't for most of her teachers - she spent a lot of time in the library looking for Quiddich books. She used to chose the biggest and the most illustrated ones. Emma had a visual memory which works better with the images. Once she saw images of a Quidditch move, she acts like doing it, imagines the action inside her head, repeating it over and over, before having the occasion to go to a Quidditch game. To every Quidditch game, she went alone, sitting to the best place to see most actions - she learned which one it was, after a few games and after harvesting for it in the empty Quidditch Pitch, running the stands by her own. And to every Quidditch games, she was happy - more than that actually - to spot every action and put a name on it. She, during the latest games, was even able to tell whether it was executed well or not.

Now it was her turn to play. She had to execute the Parkin's Pincer move, which was not really a move she likes to see - and maybe not do - but which, she assumed, was necessary from time to time. As she also studied strategy, not only the move, she realised how necessary it was. Especially on the opposite team's seeker. She executed it, and was glad not to be the Blatcher one in the move. That's exactly what keeps her from a penatly lap, which Bridget got. She kind of like Bridget Collins, for having watched her play and being under her command. She addressed a smile while watching her starting her lap before quickly turned to the game again.

Taking a swing at a nearby bludger, Suzuki just almost missed it. She watched in disappointment as it flew towards a little left of it's target. Too rushed- the angle wasn't right. Ugh.

As if her not being able to pay attention to the match was mocking her, Suzuki's eyes widened a little as she felt a bludger ram into her, hard. It was way too hard, for Suzuki lost her grip on the broom, and plummeted to the ground.

Oh, well.

Luckily, though, one of the Chasers on save duty, Carrington, managed to scoop Suzuki up and onto her broom, saving the girl from what would probably be more than one broken bone. " Thanks," she muttered, and fixed her grip on her bat.

But.

Just as she looked up, she was greeted with the sight of a girl plummeting to the ground- the opposing team's seeker- and not getting saved. EXCELLENT, she thought, rather gleefully. Her enthusiasm was so much that Suzuki could've dropped her bat and started some applause.

But of course, she didn't.

After the ten points, more arrived in the Pitch Please counter. James watched the meter while staying close to his goals, ready to defend them in the event of an attack. The counter was made of wood, and the dots were marked on sort of gold circles. At least, that's what it looked like of the young boy's location. After the counter, he looked at the two Seekers, who were still looking for the little gold bullet that was sneaking all over the place and was almost invisible to the naked eye. Almost. Then, bored a little, the blond, climbed a little higher in the air to get closer to the hoops. He wanted to know what it was like if you put a hand through a circle. He hesitated before doing his mistake and gave up for fear of being argued. And he finally returned to his original place, in the center of the three hoops, ready to stop a goal from the opposing team. Ready to stop a quaffle, ready to cancel points for Hollythorn's team. Ready to do battle with the players opposite but also ready to win!

Frustration at a failure was a precarious thing. Handled well, it could provide the focus needed to prevent another such occurrence. Handled poorly, and you might just sabotage yourself further. It was too soon to tell how it would go for Bridget this time, but it gave her a certain resolve she'd lacked earlier. And with that resolve, she had an idea.

Her plan required quite a bit of quick communication on her part. She was shaking things up. Aurora was perhaps the one with the most different task, Bridget sending her after the Quaffle. It wasn't completely out of the blue, since she'd mentioned this possibility pre-game to the Seeker. No doubt it would raise some eyebrows, but no one else would be available to do the job and it would let the Snitch circle back instead of her chasing after something so far away thanks to Nicholas' blurt.

Starlee and Opeila didn't need to change anything. They were doing perfectly as is, dodging attacks and pelting bludgers at the worn-down enemy Beater. Sooner or later, one of those would hit, and in accordance with the saying about the third time being the charm, knocked the girl clean off her broom. One of the Chasers caught her, but that's when she saw it. The bludger the fallen Beater had gotten off just before being unseated was coming her way. Bludgering wasn't in her plan, and yet it looked like something she could do quickly and still carry out her other role. No more time to think. She went for it, bat satisfyingly clanged against metal this time, bludger sent at the nearest opponent, the most logical choice. It rammed into the Hollythorn pair, not quite enough to unseat them.

And that was all the time she could expend on that. Directing Emma and Everly towards the Seeker, she allowed them a moment to set up, preparing to follow. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught glimpse of a bludger hitting Aurora. Hard. The third year was sure she was going to fall, even calling out "James!" in case he wasn't ready. Somehow, the little Seeker held on, if only barely.

That crisis at least suspended for the time being, she turned back to the task at hand. This was going to require all her attention; missing was not an acceptable option. Did she feel bad about what she was going to do, hesitant to carry it out? A little. It was the strategy, though; the Hollythorn Seeker had seen the Snitch, she was a threat, they needed her out. It was always hard to tell if a bludger would be enough, especially since she was far from the likes of Erin Ryan, and a Parkin's Pincer raised the chances of success. Besides, she was the one who needed to do this, unwilling to force her teammates into a situation that didn't sit right with them.

As she flew in, speeding up, wind whistling in her ears, she had tunnel vision. Emma and Everly had her target trapped; she braced herself. Then came the impact, sudden and harsh. Momentarily painful, though she was sure it had hurt the Seeker a lot more than it did her. It came as a surprise to see the girl plummet all the way to the earth below, having been certain they would catch her.

No doubt the foul had earned her the ire of many playing. It didn't bother her. Hollythorn had sent the precedent for using so-called 'dirtier tactics', and she had experience dealing with it--some had taken to calling the Slytherin team cheaters early on, before blatching had been more widely incorporated into a typical strategy. Nicholas was the most vocal in reaction, shouting a promise of vengeance. Oh dear, she was terrified now. Perhaps he'd gain an extra edge, but he already had a bat on him, so him being after blood was nothing new. And not everyone was questioning the move; at Emma's smile, she gave a quick thumbs up. "Keep it up!" Now, her main concern was to complete that penalty lap as quickly as she could.

Even though the Seeker for the other team had spied the snitch, she came for the Quaffle? Rose furrowed her brow. They were desperate, huh? Or they were just trying to be unpredictable. Well, they were being unpredictable, but they were also being impractical. The Seeker's best bet was to get the Snitch and end the game! Not rack up Quaffle points. She came at Rose, and Rose rushed towards her, blocking it successfully.

A rush of pride came to Rose. She had done it! She had blocked a goal. Now, in this game, she had at least done something, even if it wasn't something huge. She wasn't completely useless, just a little bit. She hadn't been paying attention the second time that the First Year came at her, maybe because of her small victory, but she was able to block it the third time.

She smiled at herself. Two blocked goals! She had done a little more than just a little bit now. She could do this. She was doing this. Now she just needed to keep going. She panted a little bit, her attention sharpening and hardening into a hard and committed focus. Team Hollythorn had to win, and Rose would help them.

Henry took his penalty lap not expecting much since that moment it looked like a bloodbath.

Everyone was after someone. The young teen would gaze over at his purple haired friend and was now slightly wishing that he didn't let them convince him to sign up for the scrimmage, Henry didn't want to hurt anyone and he didn't want to injure himself either.

The young teen looked around, mainly at his friends as he took his penalty lap to ensure they were safe. One of his biggest flaws is his loyalty to his friends, he may stand by their side no matter what but he will also get detention or jinx someone for them.

James, Nicholas, and Starlee all looked safe but he also felt bad for the blonde slytherin. She was getting targeted quite a lot, Henry at points wanted to stop the attacks. The young teen only wanted to protect or keep his friends safe, he didn't care about winning or losing that game.

His eyes did drifted toward Rose and Aurora. Rose actually blocked two goals, he tried not to be surprised but he was. Perhaps there was a part of him that doubted his friends abilities even if he tried to keep her spirits raised, but she actually blocked two.

Once finished with his lap, Henry would felt over first giving a smile to Aurora as he spoke" wicked goal Aurora, you do well in any position right?" Before flying next to Rose and giving her a slight nod with a smile as he spoke" nice saves, perhaps your a star in quidditch-" however he would be cut off by the a stomach turning sight.

Henry watched as Gia Adelard went flying from her broom to the ground and in a instant he raced after her but was too late. She already met the ground and was tended unconscious, in that moment the boy's loyalty would get him into trouble.

The young teen saw the ones responsible for it but only one would be taking a penalty lap when he heard Nicholas yell out and naturally he agreed as he spoke" they will, trust me they will," the boy threw winning that scrimmage away as he flew toward Ceceily when he saw Beckett take flight.

The boy had nothing against her but preferred to play with his friend; Gia than her. He knew about the rumours about her but he also knew that she started fights particularly with his friends, again his loyalty coming in, so he wasn't thrilled to be playing with her.

Anastasia Beckett was a bully with a sob story and just because someone has struggles or a sob story that doesn't give them a right to be a bully.

Anyway Beckett wasn't worth Henry's time as he took a moment and went speeding down to the ground, not caring about breaking any rules when he jumped off his broom and ran to Gia.

The young teen would lift the gryffindor in his arms and carry her off the pitch, to the side where he would whisper to her, " I'll be back, I'm sorry Gia," before running back to his broom and mounting it.

The young teen would kick off and fly directly toward Cecily as he started speaking to her, " all three of them played a part in Gia's being knocked unconscious, give them all a lap! That was full blown cheating and Gia is now unconscious with possibly broken bones! They all should take a lap!" Henry would argue his point with her until he got answers for a while but still looking over to Gia who was on the ground.

Gia had assured she would do better, and Pericles insisted with a shake of his head, "Beleive me: you're already doing fine. Though, if you wouldn't mind a little leg-up to get you going again...." The Chaser offered an outstretched hand. His broom was just a bit faster than the school's standard, and there was nothing in the rules against giving someone a boost. Gia had eyes on the Snitch, now all they had to do was catch it. While Pericles had never attempted to alley-oop someone in his young life, he had seen the play plenty of times, plus possessed enough understanding of momentum to pull it off. With a jolt of speed and a hard toss, he sent the Seeker hurtling towards the small golden ball... only for his broad grin to collapse as, from the corner of his eye, he spied Kage tumbling from her broom. Though he veered about and leaned into the Tinerblast, Pericles knew there was no way he would reach her in time. Thankfully, Violet did.

He belatedly swooped up alongside the Chaser and Beater duo, radiating relief as he breathed "Excellent catch! Kage, are you alright?" But they were far from being in the clear. He heard Nicholas shout somewhere behind him, saw the expressions of those nearby, and twisted to look back with dread settling into his stomach. The sight of Gia sprawled out on the grass below flooded his veins with an icy sensation. Violet's look of fear was met with one of immense tension, lips a hard line, eyes wide beneath a furrowed forehead. Pericles didn't understand. Were the referees really devoted to giving them the true gameplay experience? "Since this isn't actual Quidditch," he hollered at the commentators, cupping his mouth, "why do we not have a designated safeguard?" His tone was terse; he was no less grateful for the opportunity to play, and this factor would not deter him from doing so, but it certainly added intensity to the match.

The opposing Seeker seemed to deviate entirely from the norm, forsaking the snitch to chase after the quaffle. It was a bizarre play, though it at least prolonged the game, and the attempt was wasted two of three times thanks to their Keeper's defense. "Bravo, Rose!" Peri called, then added hastily to the two nearby, "Right, back into the fray. Be careful." They had played hard, and the better one played, the more of a target they became. Poor Gia was an example to that. But with her out of the game, Pitch Please was about to square off against Anastasia, whose experience and know-how was sure to pose an even greater challenge. Pericles drifted up alongside the third-year. His voice, cordial as ever, said "Welcome to the game." Yet his charged, prickly expression said Make them regret this.

With only Aurora going for the quaffle, the only thing standing between her and a goal was Rose. "Ten for Pitch Please!" Ami called out as Aurora managed to get the Quaffle through once. On the more interesting side, however, plenty was going on with the beaters. As not one, but two people plummeted off of their brooms, Ami's hands flew to her mouth as she gasped audibly. "Things are getting spicy!" she called out, while threats and encouragements alike were shouted from player to player down on the pitch. Being so high up from the field meant Ami heard none of it, but she was certain that there were some screams of outrage at Gia hitting the ground.

Unlike last round, it seemed that at least more than one person was interested in the Quaffle this time around. Both the Keepers would lunge for the Quaffle and would toss it through the opposing goal without a problem. "Ten... twenty for Pitch Please!" she called as James scored twice more. Maybe he had a future in Chasing, not Keeping. "And ten more for Hollythorn! Eighty to twenty, with Pitch Please leading!"

Although only two attacks were made, quite a lot happened this round. Opeila and Starlee would launch a brilliantly executed attack toward Violet and Kage, knocking both of them off their shared broom. Luckily, Pericles and Henry were there to save the day, and both Hollythorn team members would be spared from the same fate as their first-string seeker. On the other hand, Nicholas would carry out some serious vengeance on Pitch Please seeker and chocolate-muncher, Aurora, sending a searing bludger her way. However, it seemed that Nicholas would not act quick enough...

Unfortunately, it seemed that the rest of the chaos was too much, and she was still unable to.

On the other hand, Aurora would dive towards the snitch. Although she was still new to the game, her technique was passable enough that she would snatch the elusive snitch with gusto, before being knocked clean off her broom by Nicholas just seconds after. Not that it mattered. Not only had she secured victory for her team, but she would be caught by Everly and was saved from a nasty fall.

Ami rose from her seat in the commentator's box, and would start to make her way down towards the pitch and her co-captain, Cecily. "Please come collect your winnings, Pitch Please. Also, we'll be getting Gia to the hospital wing- don't worry, she'll be fine. Maybe a little traumatized, but nothing new." Waving her wand once more, she would return her voice to its normal (albeit, still quite loud) volume with an echoing "Quietus!"

Pitch Please! (Team 1) and Hollythorn (Team 2)
After the first bludger hit, she was pretty much out of it. Her vision was fuzzy, the sounds of a continuous high pitched ring surrounded her for a couple of minutes. The once cute messy bun looked as if she just fought with someone, which include hair pullings. The pitch was absent from Aurora’s screams, thanks to McCowan. One blink, she might pass out, that was how close it was for her old friend, the darkness, to say hello to her. (hello darkness my old friend, get it? No? nvm).

The blunt trauma made her hallucinate a bit, or maybe it was her father speaking to her, or perhaps she just made it up inside her head, she wasn’t sure. All she knew, his voice was crystal clear, as if he was there, watching her from the bench, encouraged her to catch the sneaky snitch. ‘YOU CAN DO IT ROE! THE BEST SEEKER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! GO PITCH PLEASE CATCH THE SNITCH PLEASE! WHOOHOOOOOO’ From her blurry vision, there he was, jumping and waving excitedly on the bench with his Hufflepuff scarf that he adored so much, just as she remembered. Never in her life would she think she’d see him again if it wasn’t because of that little nickname, Roe. No one called her that except him, and it has been almost ten years since she heard it again. The urge to faint was long gone, but now she wanted to weep in tears in the middle of the match.

Hiding her emotion, like sadness, was one of the few things that she mastered. Except for nervousness, anyone could spot it from a thousand miles away. Though, at that moment she couldn’t help but let one or two tears from spilling, people would think she cried because of the bludger anyway. Thanks to her non-existent father encouragement, she magically masters the art of spiral dive and caught the snitch with zero hesitation (a bit). McCowan, on the other hand, loathed Aurora presence so much that he hit another bludger at her direction, of course, she fell from her broom easily since the first hit did significant damage to her frail body. It was honestly a bit of a surprise to her that Everly still wants to save her after their first not so amazing encounter, 100% Aurora’s fault, obviously. But McCowan’s attempt at murdering the poor kid did not matter that much because the snitch was in her hand, and pitch please won with a whopping 230 points. Her scream finally echoed the quidditch pitch once more, this time, right on the Gryffindor's ear “CHARLTON, SNITCH! WE GOT THE SNITCH! DO YOU WANT TO DO THE OPERATION HEAD BONKING!?”

Everly flew towards Ironwoods’ other beater bat that was casually laying around the ground, enjoying the view so that Aurora would snatch it easily. One by one, they approached each one of the Hollythorns to bonk their head off. It was more like a poke than a full strength hit, it will not even hurt a mosquito. Henry Knight and Violet Carrington, were their first target. She let out her signature loud scream as she lightly nudged their heads “KNIGHT AND CARRINGTON BONK FOR TRYING TO BLATCH WINTERS AND KENNEDY AND BEING A GOOD LIFEGUARD”. For McCowan, she did it with an extra push, but still should not hurt at all. “NO IDEA WHO YOU ARE BONK FOR HITTING ME TWICE AND THE AMAZING FOUL PLAY YOU DID!”. Rose Moon seemed to be a nice person, they met once in the frog choir, unsure if she remembered. “MOON BONK FOR NOT LETTING ME SCORE AND BEING A GREAT KEEPER!”. As they flew towards the captain of the Hollythorn with Suzuki on his broom, Aurora was ready to poke his head as well, “DRALT BO-“ but then she stopped after realizing it was Pericles. “-No, you’re amazing, captain, no bonk needed, please don’t hate me. BUT YOU GET THE BONK SUZUKI! FOR BEING SUCH A BLOODTHIRST BEATER!”

The scary Anastasia Beckett was the last person to receive the bonk. The older player’s ability to intimidate Aurora was over the moon. The Ravenclaw tried to stop Everly from flying towards the frightening Beckett, hopefully it works. “Charlton! Abort mission! Abort mission!”. To officially end her bonking operation, she nervously shouted at Beckett, “AND YOU’RE GREAT TOO EVEN WITHOUT THE BONKING! Please don’t kill me”.

Obviously, she did not do it to Adelard, she was unconscious, that would be very evil. She took a last glance over the bleachers, where she saw her father before. He wasn’t there, but she could feel his presence. And she smiled.

Henry spent most of that time trying to convince the ravenclaw referee to give the others responsible for Gia's fall penalty laps to when his eye caught two of his own teammates falling. Pericles already grabbed one and Henry looked at the ravenclaw quidditch player one last time as he spoke" give me a moment but I'll be back," before racing toward the slytherin girl and catching her on the end of his broom.

"You alright?" Henry asked the girl before averting his eyes to Gia and from his loyalty and worry for her decided to take her to the hospital wing himself.

The boy would lean down on his broom and a few feet from the ground was when he noticed Aurora caught the snitch. Which means the game ended and Henry could help Gia to the hospital wing.

The young teen would jump up his broom leaving the slytherin girl behind when he would race toward Gia, giving a smile to Cash and quickly saying to Rose, " nice goal Rose," before jumping down besides Gia.

The young teen would lift the girl up and start to carry her off the pitch when a bonk or light tape hit behind his head, possibly shoulders. Henry turned and saw Aurora, the other's team seeker.

He would give her a smile and notice something odd about her, but in a good way. Something interested him about her and he wanted to go over and speak to her.

However the young teen wouldn't at least not yet as he carried Gia off the pitch and toward the hospital wing, he didn't care that his team lost and he didn't see a reason to hang back and socialize. Currently his friend was unconscious and needed help so he would help her.
