"H-Hi Layla, I'm Alecks. Nice to meet you, even though you might have been introduced in a somewhat funny way" I giggle and turn to the other two in the room.
'I can't believe she has never heard of Uno, I mean, how could you not!'
Sliding my feet over to Lewis, I sit in a chair across from him.
"I'll play if you want me too, but just being honest, I am a absolute BOSS at this game!" After realizing that I had yelled the word boss, I groan and look at the floor.
'Crap, why am I always so loud all the time! It gets annoying for me, so it must be annoying for everyone around me.'
Letting out a meek sorry and look down at the ground, toeing the shiny ballroom floor while trying not to scuff it up too much and mess it up.
I look a Lewis, to Lora, and then to Layla. And then i look at all of them again, trying to think of something to break the super awkward silence.
"So...Uno? Or I have Old Maid and a couple decks of cards we could play instead," I say pulling the three card decks out of my jacket pocket. "I could honestly go with any to break the ice at this point"
