This was not what Tory Williamson had expected when she though about balls. When she thought about balls, she thought about large, absolutely magnificent ball rooms with dome ceilings and fancy white pillars, and beautiful ladies in huge, poofy dresses. And fancy glasses that everyone drank from, and ballroom dancing to silky sounding classical music. There was none of that here. Only a herd of strangers (and Haworth and her annoying friend, ugh), a dark, odd corner, and some really suspicious looking drinks.
Her Hufflepuff friend, Aldor Humbleglow, was nowhere to be found among the crowd, which made Tory’s stomach drop lower that it already had. Neither was her fellow Gryffindor, Kage Suzuki, which made her feel 2 times worse. Needless to say, this was slightly disappointing to Tory. She had been so excited, but now she wanted to grab a book and go read in the corner. Not like anybody would even notice if she did that anyways. The first year girl would have gone and teased Haworth for entertainment, as she thoroughly enjoyed pushing the Ravenclaw’s buttons and was sure Haworth felt the same way about her, but unfortunately she was talking to another girl who did not look like the kind of person you’d want to mess with.
Eh, whatever. Tory was bored. No way was she going to dance, but no way was she going to stand here next to the wall awkwardly all evening, either. “Ohhh, Haworth!” She called out to her, yet stayed planted where she was. “Couldn’t snag a date? I’m not surprised!” She yelled, grinning to herself. Of course, her words were all in good fun. No matter how much of a mean bitch Tory could be sometimes (the fiasco at Haworths birthday, for instance), her intentions were not to ruin this solemn yet slightly peaceful ball for Haworth.
Tormenting eagles really was fun, if you thought about it. Even if you had no friends to stand around the snack table with like they had promised so, so long ago. Tory Jane took a breath of the fresh, spring air, closing her eyes tight. Maybe this wasn’t it going to be as bad as she thought it to be. For starters, she completely adored her dress. Usually she wasn’t into all that jazz about makeup and hair and dresses, but now she understood. It was extremely fun to get yourself all prettied up, especially when your dress was dark green and had pretty, sheer, short sleeves over your shoulders. It was an amazing thing to feel beautiful in your own skin, it truly was.
No matter how much confidence Tory had the rest of the time (which was a lot), she felt wonderful in this dress, thought she would stay humble because that was the way she was.
The lion sighed and finally opened her eyes. The stars sparkled and twinkled above her. And that was when she decided, she was not going to let the strange energy of this ball and her missing friends ruin the night for her. She was just going to embrace it and make the best out of it.

Blossom Ball - Underworld
"If you say so, darling," Eris replied to Santario's comments with a tone of concern. "You may not be afraid he'll hurt you, but it sounds like you're afraid of something if you need him in a better mood to speak to him."
When a girl yelled out something about the trials, one boy approached another to kiss him, and Erin Ryan crossed the room in what looked like some sort of sheet tied at the top, everything seemed to erupt into chaos. Eris was delighted at the excitment it all brought, but her mirth dimmed upon realizing that Santario was moving on to face the challenges posed to the ball's guests. Still, she was right; with the events of the evening just beginning, the hall of the Underworld was bound to fill up quickly and soon. It would have been wise for them both not to linger.
"Amazing for photos indeed," Eris agreed musingly, stroking her camera with the adoration for a beloved pet. "Alright, Santario, I'll see you later. Just don't get into too much trouble without me before then, mm?" She winked cheerfully at the Slytherin and offered a little wave as she watched her depart.
Soon after, however, while she was trying to get a snapshot of the elusive Erin Ryan, Eris felt eyes upon her own person. She looked up and met the gaze of a red-haired boy - the very one who she had photographed kissing his schoolmate just a few minutes prior. They didn't have long to look at each other, though, before Levi's date made a show of demonstrating her displeasure at Mathias' behavior. Eris grinned, eager to snap pictures of that incident, too, regardless of how curious it was that the Slytherin boy simply seemed to allow himself to be hit. It was almost as if he welcomed it, especially as he theatrically spun with the force of the blow and shot back offended platitudes.
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
More snapping and flashing of the polaroid camera. And then Eris caught sight of something interesting.
The kissed Gryffindor boy's face had gone red; that much could have easily been expected. As if that hue had decided it wasn't enough to stop there, however, it had rapidly crept up to engulf the locks of his hair as well. The photographer paused, frowning for an instant, as if not quite sure what she was seeing. Of course she knew what it was, though. There was no way she couldn't have recognized the phenomenon that she herself was already so familiar with.
Hands full of the splayed, developing polaroids, Eris approached Levi and gingerly reached over to tap him with an impromptu fan of photos.
"Sweetie...I hate to distract you from such a wonderful front row view of this fight," she said, vaguely gesturing at Mathias and Nikita with an elbow, "But, um...your hair's turned red."

Violet took a long time to dolled up for the ball, but it did not annoy the Russian, not even the slightest. All those extra waiting times he was spent by silently praising the beauty of the love of his life, Anastasia. The little fight between three lovers finally died down a bit, and it surely not because of the wrath of the tiny goblin-like girl. He decided to try out for the trials instead later on after his date finally showed up. And there she was, coming a bit late, dressed up as a last year’s sale Christmas tree (Rodion’s word, not mine).
“Violet, you look very beautiful.” He gave her his signature sparkling grin and a wink. The Slytherin offered Rodion to have some delicious punch, the liquid one, not with a fist, and do something fun later on, like trying out for the six trials. “Sure, I’d love some drinks.” As they walked to the drinking fountain, he silently observed the odd colours of the liquid that were not the colours of what punches should be. The ego that glued to his personality did not want to show Violet that he felt unsure about taking a sip of the scary-looking drink. He took two glasses, filled them with the liquid, and gave it to his date, again with a smile, “Here’s for the lady.” Rodion only held the glass, tapping the side with his finger but not drinking it. “How do you like the decoration so far, Viola?”
Occasionally he pretended to drink it by throwing its content over his shoulder, probably spilt it to some people in the process. The beach boy and a Christmas tree, what a perfect combination for the blossom ball. Will their love blossom or burn to ashes along with the ball?

Blossom Ball - Underworld
"Hello, Haworth," said Rhea as she approached Gabriella. The Gryffindor took off her helmet and tucked it underneath her arm. Gabriella was slightly taken aback by Rhea's appearance - she had definitely gone all out on the costume, and the Ravenclaw had to admit she felt relatively intimidated.
She didn't really know why she had wanted to speak to Rhea. Although they had parted friends, the interaction between the two of them had been incredibly awkward and had probably resulted in Rhea feeling rather humiliated - which wasn't what Gabby had intended at all, and she did feel significantly guilty because of it. Anyway, now Rhea had responded, and there was no going back on it now. And if they were friends, which Gabriella supposed they were, then it made no sense for them not to talk.
"Hello," said Gabriella, rather shyly. "That's a fantastic costume. Did you make it?" She waited for the Gryffindor's response, hoping that she didn't try to bring up their original interaction. In all honesty, Gabby had no clue what she'd say if Rhea did mention it. Should she apologise for being rude? She had done that at the time, but would it be worth it to reiterate? Should she politely ask how her art was getting on? Should she simply mention the awkwardness of the interaction, so that at least Rhea knew they were on the same page? Rhea definitely sensed some awkwardness, there was no doubt about that, so would it put the Gryffindor at ease to know that at least their opinions on the matter were shared?
A familiar voice from the left drew Gabriella out of her reverie. It was a loud, harsh voice, with a mocking tone that clashed jarringly with the atmosphere of the event - a voice Gabriella recognised all too well, that of her arch-nemesis - if she was going to be so dramatic - Tory Williamson. "Oooh, Haworth!" jeered Williamson.
Gabby rolled her eyes. "Sorry," she muttered to Rhea.
"Couldn't snag a date?" continued her enemy. "Well, I'm not surprised!"
"I don't want a date," scowled Gabriella. "I'm here with my friend - Gia - you'll remember her..." She let her voice trail off, wondering whether whether she should try introducing Tory to Rhea. She decided against it, and instead chose to bite back at Tory. "Anyway, I see you don't have one either."
Gabby looked around her to see if she could spot Gia coming back, but her friend was nowhere to be seen. Shame, she thought, Gia would know what to say. No - it was all she could do to wait for either Gia to arrive or for Rhea or Tory to speak.Word count: 453

When she turned to face him, he couldn't let his cheek rise and eyes squint as he smiled at his friend. To be honest, it was the exact reaction that he wanted out of her, to be speechless for a moment, but he knew that she was good at adapting to situations and she got over it in a flash. There was that one moment though, he'd store that in his memory, of those eyes of surprise that made him giggle inside. The moment passed though and she smiled to him as well and looked down at his armlets, "Oh, you tink' so?" he responded, one hand shifting to the opposites armlet and twisting it slowly, "I like em', thanks Opeila," he continued, a little proud smile creeping towards the edge of his mouth.
After a moment of continued conversation, those golden hues still eyeing up that drink of hers, he'd shift those eyes over the room at large and try to see with the minimal lighting the students that had gathered. Without looking at Opeila for a moment, he'd respond to the comment she made about there being a fire at some point, "Indeed, these things do go awry too often..." he couldn't help but smirk as he looked back at her at that moment, "You'd think they would be here supervising after what's happened like..." he stopped for a moment to ponder, "like... every dance?" he shrugged.
Zykeal would step back, grinning those pearl white teeth down at his date for the evening she spun on the spot, the drink in hand tempting itself to tip over at any moment, "What a Goddess I have at my arm!" he shouted aloud, then turned to the room at large and the other students, "You petty mortals stand no chance!" and he'd spin back to Opeila, shifted to her side and slide his arm over her shoulder, "Let's not be the refreshment kids," he confidently said, letting the weight of his arm slightly pull her along as he walked towards... well, he didn't know, but he'd sure find out soon enough.
Opeila was drinking her drink, which was fine enough for him, maybe she'd be all gitty and lightened up for the rest of the evening. Hell, he might even join her in the drink after she showed eventual signs of the effects of it. Zykeal wasn't one to just blindly walk into a wizard's party and take the first drink... it just wasn't... something he did. Instead, he'd shift his wand out of his waistband with the opposite hand that wasn't wrapped around Opeilas shoulder and he'd begin to twist it throughout his fingers as he walked over towards the commotion on the other side of the room.
"Look love..." he whispered down into Opeilas' ear as his eyes shifted to the side as the passed the entrance of the courtyard and spied a first year that seemed to have his parents buy him a costume that literally came from a generic google search, and it was... walking with Eve, the co-captain of his houses quidditch team. Zykeal had to turn his face into the side of Opeilas head to prevent himself from being seen, his cheeks slightly red as he was holding back laughing at the pair of them, he'd lean down to whisper in Opeilas' ear only something she could hear as he continued to lead them on towards the opposite side of the courtyard where they could observe the rest of the decorations that the ball had to offer in this area.
"We might have' to go elsewhere to dance tho'," he pipped up, eyes scanning the room and the drama that was unfolding around it.

After debating whether or not to even show up, Dan arrived at the ball. He had been arguing with himself all bloody week about whether or not he would even come to this one. He couldn't find a date to the ball after all, so why would he even come?
But then again, he only had a set number of dances he could go to during his time in Hogwarts. If he missed one, he would never be able to get it back. So, dateless or not, he came.
He had heard that the theme was Greek Heroes or something... Dan was... absolutely not the build for a Greek hero. Since all of those guys were absolutely JACKED, and all of them were depicted with really small-
Anyway, Dan was in no way a good fit for them. He had no idea what he was going to wear for it.
Then, the day before the ball, when Dan had thought he had run up against a wall, an idea hit him all at once. Everything came to him in a rush, and he had a smirk the entire rest of the day, as he worked on his outfit for the ball.
When Dan entered the "Underworld", he was dressed in an orange T-shirt with the words 'Camp Half-Blood' written at the top in black, Greek style English letters, a black image of a Caduceus in the middle, and the words 'Cabin 11' in the same style as the previous text on the bottom. He wore knee length black shorts, and was barefooted as he always was.
On his left hip were two sheathes; One twice the length of the other. These were his Stygian Iron dagger and shortsword. As a modern Greek hero demigod, Dan had been awarded those by Hades himself after a particularly nasty quest he undertook on his very first summer at camp.
(At least that was the story he had in his head)
And finally, he had a necklace on with two beads for his two summers.
One had a picture of Cerberus roaring, for the quest in his first summer. In that one, he and his mates who were totally not exactly like his friends back in Dingle, perish the thought, had to find the titans who had stolen Cerberus from the Underworld gates. Evidently, hordes of the dead were coming RIGHT back out because Cerberus wasn't there to keep order.
They found them, Dan swiped the key using his Son of Hermes godlike stealth, freed Cerberus, and watched as he happily ate the monsters while the titans took off running when Hades and Thanatos arrived to collect their doggo.
Dan and all his mates were awarded Stygian Iron weaponry from Hades, as all quests had to have a reward at the end. WOW had Dan lorded that awesomeness over his cabin mates for a while.
The second one... Oof. The bead that had the etched symbol of a Greek ram horned helmet... That had been the scariest summer of Dan's life.
The Titans were scheming, this was clear. There were LOADS of demigod teams gathering intel, and Dan and his mates were one.
So naturally, they accidentally had found Koios, the Titan Lord of the North's base (it was Wall Street, imagine that)
After a Series of extremely Unfortunate Events, in which they simply could NOT catch a break, they wound up being tied up in cages. Patrick, being an escape artist prodigy, had gotten them out, but everything culminated with a one on one duel between Dan and Koios.
Even with all of his speed, Dan had no idea how in the world he won that fight. Koios could flash freeze the place with his North powers, and with his massive morningstar mace, he could shatter it whenever he liked. Dan almost got frostbite from that.
The spoils from that fight were his mace. Shrunk down just to Dan's size. He had decided, however, that he liked his own weapons, and just hung the mace up by his bed in Hermes Cabin.
Dan then realized that he went EXTREMELY deep and detailed into the backstory of something that really didnt need half of it. Oh well.
He continued in, and heard talk about trials to be crowned king and queen... Dan decided he would do these. Since he had no one to dance with, he would do these trials, and furthermore, he would win them. For the Glory of Camp Half Blood and Cabin 11!

Lucia was excited for the Blossom Ball. Really, really excited. After all, she'd been quite lucky this year, hadn't she - this would be her third ball of the school year. Well, if you counted the Beckett Gala as a ball, that is. Galas and balls were basically the same thing, right? The bad thing was, though, that she'd only actually been able to dance at one of them so far: the Beckett New Year's Gala - and it had only been for a minute or so before she and Scarlett had practically fallen over each other. Scarlett Aden, it turned out, was not a dancer. It was a shame, really, that even with her luck Lucia had only been able to dance for such a short amount of time. At this Blossom Ball, however, Lucia knew that it would be different. This time, she had a dance partner already, and it was someone who she knew could dance.
Carolyn Hunt was Lucia's friend and dance partner, and had been so since practically the beginning of this year, when they had realised that they were both a part of the same dance club. They'd only met once before that, but got along quite well (so Lucia thought), and lately they had begun to meet up regularly to practise dance together in the ballroom or rehearsal room. Lucia had learned quite a bit from Carolyn, who had turned out to be quite a good teacher, which was lucky, since Lucia's only other teacher was Anastasia Beckett, the founder of the On Pointe dance club, and whom Lucia was wary around to say the least. Once the first invitations for the Greek-themed Blossom Ball had been pinned up around the castle and both girls had realised that neither had anyone to go with, it had seemed obvious that they should go together. At least, this way, they would both have someone to dance with.
Lucia had written home, asking her mother to send her an outfit. When Ebony did so, it was a little disappointing, but also not entirely unexpected; the white dress was very simple and Lucia recognised the golden earrings and choker as belonging to Ebony herself. This wasn't all bad news - it was a very nice dress, after all, and Lucia had always liked the jewelry in question - but it did confirm something which Lucia had been suspecting for a while based on the tone of Ebony's letters: Fox's Magic Shop wasn't doing very well. Again. Lucia sighed a little as, on May the twenty-ninth, she slipped into her new dress. It was a little itchy. Ah well. As much as Lucia would have preferred a more comfortable outfit, she was determined that this evening would be far better than the Masquerade of October, or January's Gala. Especially since she needed something to take her mind off the events of yesterday. A cousin... a cousin whose father was a squib... Not that she had anything against squibs of course, but Foxes were never squibs - at least, as far as Lucia had heard... It made her head hurt thinking about it. To distract herself, Lucia spent a probably stupidly long amount of time experimenting with hairstyles before giving up and twisting it into a bun, then added a circlet which Ebony had sent to her sister Briar (who had promptly given it to Lucia, declaring that it wouldn't stick in her hair anyway), before painting her nails gold. She wore the same formal sandals that she'd had since first year and the same bag she'd had since she was nine, and gave herself one last look-over in the mirror next to her bed. She didn't look incredible, but she looked pretty enough. And anyway, at this rate she was going to be late. It would have to do.
After realising that she was, in fact, a few minutes late, Lucia practically ran up the staircase to the first floor (at least she wasn't in one of the towers) and arrived at the courtyard just in time to see a redhead attempt to punch someone else in the face. What in Merlin's name... Luckily, though, she quickly caught sight of Carolyn and pushed through the crowd towards her, grabbing a goblet of punch on the way. Her throat was parched from all that speed-walking. "Carolyn! How are- wow! I love your dress." Indeed, Carolyn's dress was beautiful, in Lucia's eyes, even if the fabric hanging off the shoulders might end up being a little impractical. Although Lucia decided not to say so, she privately thought that the other girl looked a little like a queen in her gold-embellished gown. Then she looked at Carolyn - not the dress, but Carolyn. She was carrying herself with her usual grace, but her posture seemed a little... diminished. "Um, do you like it?" the Hufflepuff blurted, twisting a lock of hair around her finger on the hand which wasn't holding the punch. Then she realised what she was doing and dropped her hand to her side again. Her hairstyle definitely wouldn't last the whole night if she pulled it out.
Once Carolyn replied, Lucia cast a look towards their surroundings. She hadn't been sure what to expect, what with the wide variety of invitations and the strange numbers beneath the writing. Most people seemed to agree that they were a code for something, but Lucia hadn't been able to work them out. She'd never been that much good at that sort of thing. This area of the ball appeared to be themed around the Underworld - or Hades, as the Greek had called it. They had had a god called Hades, who ruled over the land of the dead... which was also Hades. Lucia had done quite a bit of reading on Ancient Greece in the weeks leading up to the call, and had thought even then that it must have been confusing. The courtyard was obviously a dance floor, and the music was quiet and classical. It made Lucia feel bad for talking loudly. The area was quite dark, annoyingly, and litten mostly just by magical flames, but Lucia couldn't help admiring how amazing the setup was. She almost really felt like she was in the underworld.
"It looks amazing, doesn't it?" the raven-haired girl grinned to her friend, keeping her voice low this time, taking a sip of her punch. "It's so authentic," she added. "Well, what do you want to do? We could dance here, or we could have a look at the Spring bit, or we could do the Hero Trial things, if you want."

Blossom Ball - Underworld
Jake didn't get why everybody loved ball day.
Balls at Hogwarts never went the way they were supposed to. Time after time, something went wrong. Ball day was scarier than Halloween, and you didn't even get candy. He didn't get why nobody else felt that way too...every time a ball came around it was like everybody forgot all about all the horrible stuff that had happened last time, and they were just excited.
Jake never forgot. He remembered everything. And when the time for a ball came around the question always became whether or not he was going to go. At least this time it wasn't a secret ball, like last year's. Jake would never ever ever be attending one of those again. The next time he heard wind of a secret ball, the first thing he was going to do was go straight to Professor Browne and tell him everything. It wasn't being a tattletale, it was being responsible. And Jake had learned his lesson about what happens at secret balls. It was for everybody's sake, not just his. He wasn't going to let anybody get hurt at one again, if he could help it.
But this wasn't a secret ball, it was just a regular ball. That meant it would at least be supervised. So was he going to go...?
He had thought about that a lot. Everybody else was going after all, and if he didn't, and something bad happened, all his friends would get hurt. At the halloween ball him and Jack and Ruka had flown around and got to look for danger (There hadn't been danger like he'd expected, that time, just a ghost cat and a line of mysteries). But his new friend Julian was staying back in the dorm, so Jake wouldn't be alone if he stayed. He could play with Julian and avoid the ball entirely. Then George had struck. Jake had learned before school that he should never give into peer pressure, but George wasn't a peer, George was his friend. And he was really hard to say no to.
There was only one problem....if he was gonna go...he was going to need Freddie. He couldn't leave him home...Freddie was the only thing that let him keep from getting too scared. But Freddie was a stuffie, which when you were twelve and a half years old, you weren't supposed to need to bring around with you anymore. In Hufflepuff Common room it was safe, most everybody was nice there (and the ones who were didn't let Jake get picked on by the ones who weren't), but outside in the school he was worried about being made fun of. Especially because there were people from other schools here too. Jake wasn't a first year anymore, even if he looked like one... what if he got bullied?
Then again, if Freddie was a part of his costume....
THAT was the answer! He would bring Freddie as part of his costume, and then nobody could say anything about him. The ball was Greek God themed, Jake had been told. He knew a little bit about Greek mythology but most of what he knew was from an old movie. He had thought long and hard about what he wanted to be, and then it had come to him in a flash.
It had taken some letters home to his Mum and Dad to get what he needed. He sent home the drawings of what it was that he wanted to dress like, and his parents would send him the costumes. This was good because they knew what size he was, which Jake didn't even know. He hoped there were Halloween stores open in May.
He didn't know if it WAS a Halloween store or if his Mum had made some of it herself, but what came back to him was almost perfect. Freddie's costume had only taken some tape.
---
Jake took a deep breath, shivering slightly, as he looked into the gates of the underworld. He wasn't sure if that was because he was scared, or because he was cold - his costume didn't cover up as much as his usual clothes did. It was probably both.
Jake was dressed in the orange garb of the heroic Hercules red headband, orange...dress-thing?....and all (Jake didn't know what they called that outfit, just that it was what Greek people wore, though the bottom kind of looked like Georgie's kilts). Freddie had the white wings, blue mane, and blue tail of the loyal Pegasus, clutched within Jake's arms. Of course, Jake's muscles weren't as big as the real Hercules, but he DID have a blue cape which made him feel heroic.
He was going to need that feeling.
The inside of the Underworld was dark. Some parts of it would be pitch black if it weren't for the eerie blue flames that lent them an ominous glow. To make matters worse, George had shoo'd him off soon after they'd entered. Jake had pouted about that for a moment, but then the atmosphere had pressed down upon him, sending chills down his spine, and making him forget all else. He held Pegasus closer and began to walk faster.
The music, the sounds, the darkness...it was all too real. As Jake walked faster, and faster, he felt like if he turned back he'd see some sort of dark spirit behind him. It was nothing like Coco, colorful and festive...it was like being inside a cave that never ended, deep deep inside. Though the Hogwarts courtyard was familiar, that only made it all feel more wrong. It didn't feel like the sunny courtyard where you could spend a lazy afternoon. They were far below that. It was truly the land of the dead.
Shivering more, Jake hurried forward as fast as he could, hoping there was a light at the end of this.
Action: Entering and leaving the Underworld, passing through quickly, because it's creepy

It wasn’t long after the fray of students within Eden’s perimeter grew bigger and bigger. He was surrounded and most intrigued by the couple of girls in adoring dresses with glamorous accessories binding their outfit together. His eyes sparkled like a set of crystals, his left eye twitching on one side and the right on the other just so he could keep up with both - but when he realized that that was a rather impossible task, he took his time to inspect every little detail that followed them. He grew to like them more and more as they chatted, at one point, he was even told of how spectacular his hair was - and that made his heart melt. Then this new acquaintance even expressed her own opinion on how Eden was living up to the complete expectations of boys his age. Not that Eden was one to brag… but she wasn’t wrong.
“My my, aren’t you the courteous type,” Eden exclaimed happily, a smile wide enough for his mouth to hit his ears. Had the half-goat lad expressed himself the same way the brunette did, Eden would have been more than happy to share his acquaintanceship as friends and accompany one another throughout the night. But instead, he persisted in playing the role of the jester in a king’s court.
“Your compliments are much appreciated, especially coming from someone who seems to know what they’re doing when it comes to such prestigious events.” Then came the question of his scent, Ed tried his best to recall the shiny golden name on the pink glass bottle, but he simply couldn’t get it quite correct.
“Goodness, I can’t seem to recall right now. Though maybe if we come across one another again after tonight, I’d make certain that I remember it by then.”
Throughout this lovely conversation, Eden couldn’t help but hear the bickering coming from the jester’s mouth. How dare such an insolent, half-breed, costume-wearing brat call him such mean-spirited words! Eden’s cheeks turned redder than when he was being complimented as frustration built itself upwards till he felt his head fuming. He was certain that this so-called Jack could feel the heat atop his head when he had the audacity to mess his hair. That was the part that stabbed poor Little Ed the most. If it wasn’t for the girls around him, he would have grabbed the boy from his horns and plugged them in his ears. But he proceeded to keep his cool, though that was not as effective as he wished it’d be. So to calm down, he swished out a fancy-looking white comb and sliced through his hair to fix it, while also heavily biting on his tongue to keep his own mouth shut, also occupying himself busy, ignoring whatever Jack had told Winnie, whom Eden turned to reply to.
After a couple of breathe-ins and out, Eden tried to focus on the information the girl in pink was providing him with. He wished he had the capacity to register every word that she said, but goat-boy had frustrated him so much to a point where the Hufflepuff couldn’t snap out of it.
“Oh really?”
“Wow!”
“That’s amazing!”
Was all that Eden could say at the time until he realized that he was most definitely making the conversation harder to flow.
“You seem pretty invested in such myths. I envy your knowledge on the matter.” He said in an honest and peaceful tone. It wasn’t usual for Eden to confess that he envied anyone or anything, but it was truly admirable to see the girl go off and on about Greek Gods and the sort.
Seeing her get all shy and awkward with herself was even more entertaining though - it made Eden faint a little smirk and almost have him forget about the tedious feelings he felt towards Jack.
“I’d be more than eager to accompany you girls,” Eden confessed, looking over the wholesome brunette in white and gold, making certain she was still being included in the chaos that was going on between the diverse group. He offered both of his arms to the pair of them like the true gentleman that he was.
“Excuse me for asking so late,” he hoped he hadn’t already forgotten, “but may I have your names?”

Interacting with @ NICO Shymane
Open to InteractionsQuinn didn't have to enter this realm to already feel it's presence. It felt like he was coming home. For so long he had languished in the depths of this realm, performing his duties in a mechanical manner. Because secretly he feared the darkness and what dwelled within its secretive mass. However recent events have drastically changed his views on this matter.
Entering this suffocating and dark realm. Quinn...no Hades had returned to his kingdom with an unknown individual sitting partially on his massively broad right shoulder. With massive hands and a strength that could topple God's he easily kept her figure perched neigh perfectly on his shoulder. At well over 9 feet in height he struck an imposing figure that was partially hidden by the darkness.
His hair had been straightened and slick backed causing it to rest at just below the shoulders. His beard that was always wild and untamed half the Stine had been cut short and groomed with who knew how many hours going into the mantainence. Unlike usual his soft emerald blue eyes were still just as big but carried a sharpness to them, his freckles no longer visible and skin having a smooth paleness to them. He wore all black for this affair. Wearing a long black Toga (Chilton) that went down to his ankles.
Gold clasps on the shoulders held in place a similarly black feather cape that had plumage covering the entire shoulder areas and upper back before transitioning from the feathers to similar black fabric that with to the top of his ankles. The arms were of course sleeveless but he wore the traditional sandals of that time that were of a similar black, Black leather bracers that barely held together due to his strength and the most odd thing of all? A bright vibrant flower pinned into his hair on the left side.
The person perched on his shoulder was dressed in the exact opposite. Vibrant and appearing like the incarnation of life in comparison to his darkened appearance. Many who knew Quinn could guess who it was. Though Quinn's hair wasn't its usual fiery orange but a hey black making him look entirely different. Angles of his fsce exaggerated from the make up and his normal covered arms on full display showing his great strength. As they entered he looked to the one on his shoulder smiling, eyes softening and then their sharpness returning as he looked over many of the individuals at this venue. Perhaps they would stay or move out of his realm. Whatever the decision as long as his heart was by his side. Than anywhere was fine.Action: Entering the Underworld
