Dearest Noah,
It has been too long since I have heard from you! I hope that you are happy and that all is well. What have you been getting up to? How is life at Hogwarts? Do you remember me? You had better!
Things here at home have never been better, or so my father tells me. I have been focused on classes, doing my best to stand out so that I might attract the right kind of attention. It is hard to believe I am so close to beginning my third year of collège. Mother is all too quick to tell me that le Rite de la Prospection will be upon me soon, so I have barely had the chance to write. Sorry for letting you go so long without sending something in the post, I've just been incredibly busy!
I remain hopeful that I will see you again this spring or summer! If not, I could certainly try to convince my parents into taking us on a vacation to London. Perhaps we could meet there if for some reason Hogwarts does not invite Beauxbatons for another ball or competition? My father says I sometimes look distracted when we are duelling and he is right, I cannot stop thinking about the night we shared! I still remember our last dance vividly!
But enough about me, I am curious what has been happening with you. Please right back soon won't you?

Sorry for replying so late! Things haven't really been that good here, I've been falling behind on school work so I had to spend time catching up with things. Although that wasn't all the reason for it, I also wasn't quite sure how to reply to the owl either, even now, I'm pretty sure I've spent hours thinking over how to write this letter.
In reality, I wanted to write a letter way before you wrote one, I just kept putting it off for later, not quite sure what to say. It was only a bit easier now that I had something to actually reply to, I'm glad you wrote the letter or I would probably have taken ages to figure it out myself.
Either way, I think we will be seeing each other this year, from what I know so far. I'm not quite sure about the details but I do know the other schools will be here at least. Can't wait to talk to you again!
And besides the thing about falling behind with schoolwork (which I'm not quite caught up to yet but am working towards better than before at least), I've been thinking about other things, but writing about all of that would make the letter far too long and I suppose it's already more than it should be considering I've talked about nothing significant, so it would probably be best to keep that for when we actually meet or something.
Other than that I don't think I have much going on to write about, I'll end the letter here, hope you're doing well there and that your schoolwork isn't as painful to get through.
