OOC: I am so sorry for the delay!
After letting the sugar rush pass on by, Akari ended up adjusting to this odd situation rather quickly. "Mhm probably, for new friends" she replied with a small shrug to the ever so popular inquiry of why were there four people on this so called date?
Well, what other reasonable explanation would follow what the teachers set up for them?

Akari tried to stifle her laugh as best she could when Piérre had corrected Piper’s use of words. She didn’t want to come across as rude but she found it terribly funny. Akari wasn't a stickler for cussing, in fact, she surely had had a couple "slip ups" before (though they were justified in her opinion), but she did know that it was not agreeable with everyone.
Unfortunately for her, she was having much difficulty keeping the chuckle suppressed, so much so that she bit her bottom lip while she leaned over and swiftly took and then filled up a cup of tea. Once doing so she brought the cup to her lips and then blew on its hot contents briefly before taking a cautious sip, all to distract herself. Luckily for her, it seemed to do the trick.

Once finishing a few more sips of her tea she gracefully returned it to the ground while her gaze was regained by her surroundings, more specifically at the starry night sky that was overhead. It really was quite the sight, and it looked so real too! She observed the stars and the shapes that they formed, but couldn't recollect what any of them were called. She racked her brain searching her mind for any information that she might have learnt in astronomy class, but to no avail.
"Guys, do any of you know the name of those constellations up there?" She asked curiously while pointing upwards.

Piper immediately glared at Piérre. She hadn't even thought twice about swearing, and she certainly hadn't tried to "look cool." He was the type that tended to get on her nerves, and it didn't help that he looked older. Piper felt her cheeks grow warm with embarrassment, although she had no reason to be embarrassed. She interpreted the feeling as anger, enflamed only by Akari's noticeable efforts to not laugh. Why did Piper always become the one people found amusement in?

The patronizing boy acted as though he knew all there was to know. Well, he wasn't the only one whose opinion mattered around here. Piper was tempted to list every curse word she knew just to get back at him, but this was not the time, place or predicament to cause a scene. He appeared calm, but with an impish smile that absolutely infuriated Piper. She gave Piérre her best death stare and turned her thoughts to Lavinia's words.

Because Piérre had agreed with Lavinia, Piper wouldn't verbally support the idea, but she didn't mind the theory that the group was to get to know each other (although she wanted nothing to do with Piérre now that he had criticized her). She didn't typically have the patience for it, but the food was just sitting there, ready for her. Piper observed as Lavinia picked up a scone. The girl seemed to have a grace that was unfamiliar to Piper, she seemed to seek harmony with her quieter demeanor.

The tension felt too high, and Piper ate another piece of chocolate. The professors really should have provided more interactive activities. Unfortunately, nature had been the best they could come up with. Akari, on the other hand, seemed to be looking for anything else to talk about, and she (successfully) diverted Piper's attention by looking at the stars. "Guys, do any of you know the name of those constellations up there?" That girl just seemed to want to have fun; she was focusing on activities.

While the Slytherin was no dunce at astronomy, she also didn't know much astronomical information off the top of her head. However, there was one single constellation that seemed to stand out to her in the sky due to her previous knowledge of its location. She pointed. "I'm fairly certain that one's Orion."

Maybe someone else will get me to remember the other ones.

Apologies for the wait! I went on a 2-month hiatus and I'm back now.

Lavinia hadn’t realized but eating the scone was a very strategic move, it allowed her to get out of the conversation that Piper and Piérre had. She could see that Piper looked a good bit frustrated at Piérre and Akari seemed to try and stifle a laugh. Lavinia didn’t really mind the cursing but she wouldn’t do it herself. It didn’t make her like her less, if anything Lavinia liked Piper more than the others so far.

The two Gryffindors seemed to already know each other and if Lavinia was honest it made her feel like a third wheel their relationship. In Lavinia’s mind Piérre was trying to be calm and laid back but yet he was still calculating. It looked as though he could taking notes about what each person was like and then maybe he’d find a to mold himself to them. He had agreed with her about why she thought they were there and she felt like the conversation was going no where.

It was just an odd scenario for all of them, a blind date with not one, not two, but three other people. Just odd. Looking around she noticed that almost all of them were eating and Lavinia had just finished her delicious scone when Akari asked about the constellation names. She had no idea what any of them were and looking up all she saw was stars. Lavinia had not payed attention in Astronomy class and had no intention of doing so. The class was late at night and she normally got up early to train for quidditch, there was no way she could do the class and still get enough sleep. She just normally skipped it or slept through it.

There was no way that she would tell these basically strangers that though, she had to keep up her demeanor as the put together friendly older third year. Instead of admitting the truth she tried to recall any constellation that she could, there wasn’t that many that she could think of and only one came to mind as what might be in the sky right now. She had no idea if it was but felt as if she had to answer the question so said it all the same, “I believe that one of them is Draco but I’m not sure”

She wasn’t here for constellation conversation though she wanted to talk about something else but didn’t know what so she went to her go to topic, quidditch. The two Gryffindors looked a little familiar from the skies but she wanted to know for sure if they were on their team. “Are any of you on the quidditch team for your house?”
