Charles would crack a small but polite smile toward Iris when he heard her words before whispering back, " well I do prefer friends from other schools than Durmstrang and maybe getting pointers from the boy that starts fights at his school and occasionally acts like a idiot isn't wise," part of his statement was a joke but also did held truth since he did start fights at Durmstrang and could occasionally act like a idiot around people he didn't know.

The group would mainly focus on introductions and also Cassie explaining what a fist bump was before provoking Charles to speak" I ignored Cass's high five the first time, nothing embarrassing," before the blonde would eye the girl and give a small smile.

When Charles heard Cassie mention about trying to have more friend than her in French, the blonde would give a small smile and now wondered how many friends or exactly how popular the girl was as he spoke " that is if I already don't have more friends than you," the blonde would smile toward the girl for a moment before the conversation continued.

" You heart will survive Cass," Charles would reply to Cassie's dramatic acting with a small smile and look toward the girl before Norwegian became the subject and the blonde would hear Cassie's question. Technically he didn't know Norwegian before and mainly learned the language because of Iris.

"I didn't know Norwegian before Cass, I learned it over the year because of Iris," Charles spoke and would add a small smile in Iris direction before looking back at Cassie who started on another introduction for Drew giving Charles enough time to whisper to Iris, " Iris Kingston. Sounds rather posh, almost like my name. Iris Fields as a nice ring to it but both sound nice," he would give her a small smile before his attention would be taken away by Cassie and a red hair girl who he assumed was Scarlett.

Charles would watch the two girls converse or rather shout at each other, picking up a few things. Smiling at the fact Cassie corrected her friend that she wasn't popular and that Cassiopeia was her nickname and the red head seem to think Cassie was annoying which marked Charles has strange since the blinders didn't see her as annoying just fun and bubbly really.

However when the red head would introduced herself to the rest as Scarlett; second year gryffindor, certified talker, and professional quidditch player. The blonde was about to introduce himself but was cut off by the red head thinking he was Cassie's boyfriend, Charles was finding Scarlett to be rather annoying but he would try to get along with her for Cassie's sake.

Cassie would correct her first along with the nature of her gown before Charles would speak" as Cassie said were only friends and Cassie isn't as annoying as you Scarlett. I think Cassie is a fun and bubbly spirt but not annoying," the blonde would give Cassie a small smile readying himself to introduce himself before Cassie mention eating and grabbed Charles to pull him along.

The blonde would keep a eye out for Werner since he was still with the white haired girl as he pulled Drew and Iris with him. The blonde would be first besides Cassie who mentioned her long travels in a carriage entitled her to anything and he would give a small smile to that before hearing her sort or rushed introductions so the blonde would smile toward Scarlett and introduce himself, " a pleasure Scarlett, I'm Charles third year Durmstrang and Durmstrang quidditch player. Although history call me Charlie, most of my friends do."

The blonde decided to sit across from Cassie and would start to move before freezing in his tracks when he heard Cassie's french whisper and he would quickly whisper to her, " Werner is my friend and is outgoing or social at Durmstrang Cass, but perhaps a little bit he does remind me of him," the blonde would smile toward Cassie before walking around the long table and finally sitting down across from Cassie.

The blonde would save one sit next to him for Werner and perhaps the seat next to that for no obvious reason and the other seat next to him he would save either for Drew or Iris depending who sat there. The blonde would then start to pull pieces of chicken onto his plate along with other types of meat before he would stay eating, the boy hadn't realized how hungry he was.

"I was on a ship for longer than Cass to get here and the food wasn't as favorable so I'm entitled to this as well," the blonde would speak with a bit of jokingly in his statement.

The chatter continued quite rampant and Iris listened to as much of it as she could. The overlapping languages and topics were confusing so Iris mostly listened in to Charles' conversations and anything directed at herself. It had been a good while since she had been in a situation with so many people chatting, she honestly missed it. But she was starting to find herself again with less trouble than she had anticipated.

The whole fist bump thing was definitely awkward, at least for Iris. Sure, she knew what it was having grown up in a wizarding home with muggle tendencies, but that usually wasn't their thing. Cassie mentioned the first time she had high fived Charles-- or 'Charlie' as she referred to him. Iris sent Charles a smirk, not really being able to imagine how that went down.

Cassie seemed fascinated by Iris' Norwegian knowledge. Honestly, she could pull off a very convincing posh-British accent but only because she had been instructed to. That was the first thing that went the instant Iris wasn't around her grandmother. Besides, she limited the accent so most English speakers could clearly understood what she was saying. But as Cassie seemed to pick up, it was still evident in her English speaking, "Well, my mom's side is Norwegian, my grandparents on my mom's side moved to America. My dad's side isn't. But at home we all spoke Norwegian for the most part,"

Charles leaned over to Iris again speaking in Norwegian and she replied in a similar hushed tone, "I prefer Fields. But I figured if I'm going to disregard everything my grandmother installed in me over the past half a year I might as well do one thing. Besides, it's sort of nice to be recognized as from a well known family,"

There was a really energetic girl that burst into the conversation to greet Cassie. They seemed to know each other from before pretty well. She introduced herself as Scarlett, a second-year Gryffindor, certified talker and a Quidditch player. That meant she was from the Hogwarts house of the brave, well the Gryffindor bit. Scarlett was just as excited as the other girl-- Cassie was. At everyone's introductions to the new girl, Scarlett, Iris joined in, "and I'm Iris, Fourth Year from Ilvermorney, and a Broom Racer,"

Iris stayed with Charles, still more comfortable around him than any of the other students swarming around. They eventually took a seat at the table and Iris was, thankfully, beside Charles. There was a fair deal of food items that Iris had not a clue what they could be, but the things she did recognize, she was quick to grab. She had a small plate with a whole bunch of different things on it. Might as well try a lot today so she knew what things she would want to have the rest of the days. Dinner was served.

[font=Monotype Corsiva]And he was back... after nearly six months he had returned to this ever so chaotic school. But surprisingly he wasn't completely as against visiting the Scottish school as he was the last time around. Though it was mainly for the reason that he was certain that something interesting would take place and currently he was longing for something out of the ordinary to happen.

Enzo took a step through the doors of the great hall and then paused for a moment to observe everything and everyone. Overall it was not much different from the last time, though he still refused to confess even to himself that there was a small part of him that liked something about the Hogwarts castle.

As Enzo started to walk further into the hall looking around in search of a vacant seat his gaze passed over someone who he actually recognized. Charles Alluring, and he was surrounded by quite a few people.
Did Enzo want to at least acknowledge Charles? Yes, but was he going to approach that big group? Nope. Absolutely not.
So instead, as he walked by the table Charles was sitting at, after hopefully catching his attention Enzo brought two fingers up to his head and gave Charles a small and casual salute while saying a quick "Bonjour" then just continued on walking.

Once Enzo found a table that was rather empty, at least compared to the other ones he sat down quietly and gave his eyes a small rub before then resting his head on his now propped up left hand. He sighed slightly, even if it wasn't his preference it would probably be recommended for him to go and try to interact with as least one person in some way... but- it was just, no one seemed interesting enough...

Madeleine had plenty of time on the Beauxbatons' carriage ride to recall her last visit to Hogwarts. She actually had a great first impression of the Scotland-based wizarding school - right up until the Masquerade that they hosted. That night had been etched into Maddie's memory as one of the craziest experiences in her twelve years of life. It had not ruined her impression of the school (the sheer size of the castle and its architecture still impressed her so much!), just the opinion of some of its students. But none of that would mar her visit to the school this time! As she and Cassanora walked across the grounds with the rest of their school, they spoke briefly of Cass' father, then of Maddie's masquerade date.

"No, I don't think so... It's not like he kept in touch," Maddie answered after a moment of thought. When they finally reached the Great Hall, she was delighted to once again see the floating candles and the translucent ceiling. It was just as beautiful as she remembered. But the topic of her masquerade date meant she instinctively glanced around the Hall looking for a sign of him. Vladimir Athanatos. The upperclassman had been perfectly cordial to Maddie when they were dancing at the masquerade, but the disastrous event that befell his friend and led them all to the Hospital Wing was still really confusing. And the rumors that she had heard that night had been quite concerning. Although he hadn't exactly been a perfect date, she still had thought him kind at the end of the night, maybe misunderstood. Definitely mysterious, but nothing to get hung up over.

As soon as Maddie realized what she was doing - looking around for him - she stopped herself, relieved to hear Cass suggesting a table for them to sit at. "Perfect," she remarked, following her best friend's lead to a table housing two Durmstrang boys, one of whom was standing and talking to a Hogwarts girl.
Sitting down near: Arjan Oberoi (@Serena Towers), Rudolf Novikov (@Adam Harringtom), and @Maria Dee
As they approached, Maddie's attention went to the food on the table. She was really hungry. Her sudden priority was to make a plate of food and devour it all, but Cassanora's next words were enough to distract Maddie from this goal. The brunette's face lit up as she looked at her best friend with a huge smile. "You read my mind!" she said, slipping back into her native tongue in excitement. She corrected herself back to English as she continued, "This place is so big, I feel like I hardly scratched the surface exploring last time!" With a nod of approval to her best friend, Maddie turned back to the food in front of them to make a plate.

As she tried to decide what looked good, the conversation of the three people next to them floated into Maddie's ears. She wasn't paying full attention, but it sounded like they might all be friends? Or the girl was meeting them for the first time? Her brown eyes lifted long enough to take in the features of the three foreign students before going back to the food, none of them striking her as familiar from last year.

Cassanora smirked as Maddie briefly slipped back into French. Being Irish, Cass wasn't really inconvenienced being at Hogwarts. She was supposed to have attended this school after all. But she had made her peace with that. She would have missed out on Maddie for instance, and that seemed like an impossible thought. Cassanora smiled faintly as her friend's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree talking about the castle. If Maddie was meant to end up living anywhere, it had to be a castle. She was way too impressed with all this not to.

Picking up her gaze sliding over to the trio next to them, Cass's eyes followed, perhaps a bit more obvious than she'd have liked. Judging by the Hogwarts girl's question, they did not seem to know one another. Though there was something... Cocking her head just a little, Cass narrowed her eyes and listened carefully. Only to catch herself spying and snapping her attention towards the food on the table. A faint red glow would paint itself on her cheeks.

Tugging on her ponytail, the young miss Browne lifted her nose and inspected the assortment of foods in front of her. Though her ears would still be perked up and tuned in on the conversation happening right next to them. Were these boys going to turn out the same as that one prick they met last time in the courtyard? One of them seemed to be a bit more relaxed at least, she made sure to take a look at his face. He wasn't a particularly active participator of the conversation. So just a braggy friend taking a long shot at one of the local girls? Cass found herself shaking her head and smiling at Maddie.

"What did you think of Nora?" Cass blurted out, not really knowing why she decided to jump on that topic. Perhaps it was an ill attempt at trying to distract them from whatever that was. Though she could swear there was something... She shook her head again. No, nothing she could remember. "I kinda wished my dad would have been the one to greet us, but she's nice too. I guess I should pity the school that got him to be their greeter." She giggled before taking a large bite from her dinner. "He's almost been here for two years now I think, and..." She looked around and smiled. "The castle still seems to be standing, so he must have been behaving."

Luka’s attention, fixed on the students around him who were potential new friends, didn’t notice Rodion approach until he opened his mouth. The utterly awful and wholly unfortunate phrase that came out of his mouth made Luka glance back at him with amusement. “Hey, Rodion, good one!” He replied to the other boy’s attempt at a compliment, laughing. Being twelve, he of course thought Rodion must be joking. Who would seriously use a line like that, after all? But he didn’t want to insult his classmate so he merely smiled and encouraged him. Ana, however, didn’t seem particularly happy with Rodion. Luka glanced at her with confusion as she told him off in Russian. He gave an awkward laugh as he spoke to them in Russian.

“No need for fighting! Isn’t this exciting? We should be showing the other schools our best behaviour. See, look, Mistress Pavlova is here.” He pointed vaguely toward the head table where their Headmistress had taken a seat.

With words spoken, he turned his attention back to the students he had originally tried to greet, smiling brightly when one of them introduced herself. “Nice to meet you, Eirian. Yes, I’m from Koldovstoretz! These are my friends, Anastasia and Rodion. You are Slytherin? What is that?” He asked, finally hoping to unlock the secret of the strange Houses. “One of your Head of Houses, Professor Browne, showed us to the cabins when we arrived. He told me your Head of House Slytherin, what was her name? Nora something? She is Swedish spy hiding here. It sounds so unbelievable. Is it true?”

[Enter ᴄʟᴏᴡɴ in Durmstrang robes]
No matter how many times Johannes stepped back onto English ground, it always felt like the first. Newly thirteen with his hair uncharmed and alone against a flurry of acquaintance and stranger alike, the sun glowing gold upon a field of green grass and puppy love with a disappointing end.

Nearly a year had passed since that magical moment where he had the foolishness to open himself to foreign warmth, allowed himself a selfish desire without sensible thinking. In between that time, another had attempted to take his heart and abandoned it all the same. That bitter internalised humiliation at his naivety had long-ago faded, instead replaced with a strange awkwardness that lingered every time he thought of that patriotic country across the sea. He might have not known then what was to happen- both at the London Quidditch Field and Hogwarts' ballroom itself- but now he knew better than to bestow upon others what was his so readily.

The last few times he had come, he had indulged himself in the quiet brooding of his mind, without his safety blanket of a social crutch that his friends had become, but now, everything was different. No longer did he have the need to hide away in the shadows of the castle, a pawn in front of a picturesque enemy line of unknowns. Nay, this time he was backed by his ever-dependable pack, his Hellhounds filling a part of him that had been missing every time they parted.

In the pooling fog that had curled itself over the Great Lake catching at eager strokes of dawn, the Castle looked just as impressive as he'd remembered it- though his loyalties would always lie in Durmstrang. That brilliant light peering out from behind towering spires, spilling liquid gold over dark stone and emerald green forests, gilding tower tops with glorious buttery yellow and turning the black, smoke wreathed water that they sailed over into a crystal mirror. It was quite the pretty sight, but Johannes knew better than to walk in unguarded.

Of his group, it was he, Stefan and two other rookie younger-years who had corralled themselves onto the looming ship as a unit, sticking together between identical crimson coats and white fur during the international trip. Together, they had snuck a deck as they rose from the choppy waters and gathered themselves onto boats, greeted and ushered forward into cottages for their residence. Johann spent some of the waiting in explanation. His experience and interaction with Hogwarts and its students was limited, yes, but it was better than nothing.

The calling of dinner. A march into age-worn walls and cathedral-tall ceilings. The Great Hall's splendour was just as warm as he'd remembered it, waif-like natives dressed in full robes of black and stereotype sitting in clumps and singles randomly as if a free-for-all attendance sheet. No coordination, a lot of mingling. Five wizarding schools of the world brought together, under a makeshift sky of stone, candles and magic. Poetic.

Taking up Axel's place as the makeshift semi-responsible big-brother figure, it seemed that Stefan had no problem taking on the role of their "chaperone on a school field trip", inserting a bit of guidance in a free-floating world. "Don't go sneaking out onto the grounds just yet. You lot, make some friends. We're going to be here for a while." Ah, friends. Easier said than done in Johann's opinion but it seemed that young Timofey and Viktor took it rather seriously, whispering aggressively to each other in frantic Russian about English practice and awkwardness, hesitantly venturing onwards on their little unsubtle journey with all the confidence of little lambs. At their fervent glancing back, Johann waved them off, a casual move of permission.

Remember the last time he had been like that? Yeah me neither. Haven't written yet, but it'll happen someday. Don't worry too much.

He waited until the second-year duo- er, at most other schools they would be considered first year but Durmstrang was just quirky like that- were halfway out of hearing range even under the rumble of conversation. "Hey, but like, don't be so boring that attract straight-laces!" He got a hasty thumbs up from one of them for his trouble, catching their attention again briefly before they too disappeared into the crowd. "Then you're really going to be done for. You specifically, Pennywise." Cat that got the cream, 'ere huh? Throwing a shameless look over his shoulder, Johannes started to slowly make his way forward, steps deliberately slow enough to get Stefan's reaction.

"Oh, that's it-" And Johannes was hopping his way out of particularly well-aimed swat upside the head, not yet to the point of blowing a raspberry back in defense of his school pride but getting very close. "Better luck next time!" One would think that Stefan would have been done with all the little jibes by now but alas! Johannes himself had been on more than his fair share of playground snipes for his behaviour and hey, it was fun to rile Stefan up, even if they all knew it wasn't out of genuine hurt. By this point, it was a mutual indulging, really, a little poking fun when they still had fun to poke at.

All that out of the way, the cheeky look on his face dropped into something more subtle in amusement as he began to split off, attempting to find friendly and/or familiar faces. With what the contained chaos of the Great Hall, various uniformed and not-so-uniformed internationals assimilating with the local population of students, it was a tricky decision. Now, wanderer boy you, where to go now?

Ugh. Novikov's tone of voice made his questions seem rather insulting. It irritated Arjan. If it wasn't for the random girl bumping into him, Arjan likely would have grown very annoyed, very quickly. The audacity of Novikov! Implying that he, the Great Arjan Oberoi, would often frequent this dump! Outrageous!

Anyway, back to the girl. He had yet to catch her name - mostly because he had yet to actually introduce himself or ask. Man, he was bad at this. Perhaps he had come on a bit too strong, maybe she was not used to guys being so upfront about things. In any case, he had already taken her glass with a smirk, "No, but I'd love to change that," He responded casually, motioning towards Novikov as he recalled his presence for the first time in the encounter. "I'm sure my friend wouldn't mind either. Isn't that what this event is all about? Getting to know each other?"

He could not help but notice a pair of girls who had appeared whilst he was talking to the Hogwarts student, taking a seat not too far from them. Of course he would notice that. What else would he notice? It was easy enough to recognise the uniform - he had met people from the school previously. Beauxbatons. He could not help but recall a girl that he met at the ball last time he was here. There was little opportunity to get to know the girl properly and in all honesty, it was not notable enough for him to attempt to find her again. He had no idea if she was a pureblood or anything of importance. Hell, he was not even sure how he would find her. All he knew was her rough height, her hair colour and the fact that she attended Beauxbatons. Whether or not she was here again was a mystery.

That being said, if he did come across her again, he was not going to instantly be mean. She was alright. It was one of the few conversations that he did not actively find to be irritating, which was saying something.

Placing the glass of juice down next to them so the Hogwarts student could join them, "Arjan Oberoi, a fifth-year at Durmstrang," He introduced himself with a small dip of his head in a bow, proudly announcing his school too, despite it being rather obvious based on his clothing. Clothing that she had almost ruined, mind you but he was glossing over that fact as he attempted to be civil. As he introduced himself, he held out his hand.

Picking up on the conversation happening next to them - between the two Beauxbatons girls - a plan became to form in his mind. A rather great plan, even if he did say so himself... "Say, Novikov, you wanted the grand tour of this place, right? This is only my second time here, unfortunately. However, perhaps this lovely lady here could show us around," He continued, running his hand over his hair as he flexed his arm, "I know a few fourth years that might be able to join us too," From what his sister went on and on about, Hogwarts had a lot more to it than meets the eye. New passages or doors or something, he barely listened but she was very excitedly talking to their father about it every holiday. Having the older years there would likely be beneficial to really explore the place and find out some secrets.

But more than that, he was also mostly secretly hoping he could convince some of the beautiful girls to join them. @Phaedra Stavrou was one that came to mind. She was beautiful. More than that, she was a Stavrou. Their families knew each other relatively well. A relationship would be quite beneficial - at least, in his mind. Then there was also @Falentra Black, who he had the pleasure of meeting over summer last year. A slytherin, which was the best house to be in - a fact according to the Gospel of Arjan. There were others that came to mind too - people he had met through his family connections - but he had not specifically met them all that recently. These two were two he had the pleasure of meeting in the past year and of course, he was more than happy to bless them with his incredible presence in return.

Hopefully, he would be able to convince them to lead the tour, assuming the others agreed with the idea. Though... a private tour would definitely be more his speed. Maybe he should just ditch these ones and do that. Eh, worst comes to worst, he could force his sister to lead the tour if he stuck with this group. At least, maybe he could encourage some of the other schools' girls to come along that way... Hm... The girls beside them were talking about something else now, moved on to a conversation about some 'Nora' chick and then what sounded like their feelings. Ugh, feelings. Unless this 'Nora' chick was a cute single (eh, she did not have to be single) fifteen year old, he wasn't really interested. If she was, she should definitely come to this tour though.

It seemed that for now, Lucietta's attempts at hiding hadn't worked quite that well.

Not less than 6.75 seconds after Lucietta became mute, she was approached by someone else. A boy, whom she definitely did not recognize from Ilvermorny (so he must've been from Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, or Koldovstorez). He was previously talking to someone else who seemed to be surrounded by all sorts of people [Charles]. When the boy spoke to her in English - it took her a second to register, but she could decipher what he was saying - she took a moment to study him. They looked similar, but she had no memory of him being perhaps a cousin or anyone else from her relatives that she had met before.

He switched to German, and his request set Lucietta's face on fire. She'd never been asked to join anyone of any sorts on anything. What was she supposed to do - say yes? She did like birds though, and she wouldn't mind doing some exploring - but she was very, very afraid of ruining her very first interaction. She fretted over if she should use English or German - what if he wasn't fluent in one, and then she messed everything up by making him think she said "birds sing urine" or something else?

This was stressful.

"I - I'd love to!" Lucietta replied, in German, after a moment of careful consideration, putting a little more excitement into her voice. After all, people were less likely to dislike friendly people, right? "Um..." Clearing her throat, since Lucietta had determined that three words were quite too less, Lucietta added, "Where are you from? I'm from Ilvermorny... you know... that school in America..." Lucietta jerked a finger towards the general west direction of the castle, but she had no idea if Ilvermorny was where she was pointing or not.

Florian entered the Great Hall, again taking in its surroundings as he had done before last year. It was still as shabby as it was on his last visit, but something was different this time. Well, nothing really about the room in question, more about his finally finding someone worthy of his time at this unfortunate school. One Elizabeth Isaacs.

While he had the misfortune of running into his punching bag, Emile, over the winter break, he had the pleasure of meeting a certain someone else, his cousin Elizabeth. She was completely opposite from the stupid, animal-obsessed Emile. She was bright, charming, and cute. It hadn't taken long for the two to begin sending owls back and forth to one another, until finally, she had asked him to attend the ball with her. How could he possibly say no to such an upstanding girl?

And so here he was, his brothers jealous again of his travels and popularity, off to Hogwarts. Elizabeth was what made this trip worth it. Unfortunately, it seemed Emile would be in attendance as well, and he hoped the boy wouldn't do anything stupid this time. Who knew with that kid.

He surveyed the room, glancing around for possibly anyone he knew, in which he did notice some students in Beauxbaton uniforms, yet no one he was closely familiar with. Elizabeth had not yet arrived either, so he meandered in and took a seat at what was the typical Hufflepuff table, unbeknownst to him, and began to wait for her arrival, or perhaps anyone else who wanted to interact with a stern and haughty looking French boy.
