If Howard thought it was hard to watch from the sidelines it was nothing compared to seeing the action unfold from his penalty lap. Every fiber of his body burned with the urge to return to action. It became almost unbearable as soon as the bludgeons and fouls alike began to rain down upon his teammates. Aaron and Serena were able to hold on after suffering some serious, but his stomach would drop as he watched Atlas and Quinn fall from a well placed Blatch. For the second game in a row their mighty co-captain had fallen. Wiping the rain from his eyes he would look to Ami for the signal of what to do next. With a nod of determination he would grip his broom and prepare to return to the match.

@Ami Proccopio, Noticing QuinnWhile taking on his lap, the boy’s head had been on a swivel. He had just barely made out a shout of someone or something around him, a small jab at his action of blanching earlier. Whipping his head around in the now slowly rising rainstorm, his brown bangs swiftly sticking to his forehead and cheeks, Piérre inhaled, accidentally sucking in some water and coughing before responding in turn, shouting as loud as his singer’s diaphragm would let him. “I’M SORRY WHOEVER SAID THAT!” He began, turning his head towards the sound in the best attempt to have them hear him. “CAPTAIN’S ORDERS, BUT I THINK IN THIS RAIN I’M GETTING RATHER CLEAN!” A small, joking rebuttal.
A flicker of red in the rain, and Piérre wiped water out of his eyes again to try and see what had transpired. A large yellow blob toppled again, and Piérre watched with baited breath as they tumbled. One smaller half of the blob was successfully collected, but the other one hit the ground. The keeper flinched, imaging the sound despite the mud which would dampen and the rain which drowned out just about all sound. Poor big Romeo...
Curling his fingers a bit as he tapped out a small march’s beat, Piérre fluttered back into action, ready to play again.

The rain had definitely came in strong but it didn't damper the mood of the game. Ami gave a good run down from the previous round and seemed to be barely containing her anger while Annie wiped a few drops off her face before leaning forward to hear what was happening this round. It seemed Howard & Piérre had finished with their penalty lap but now Anastasia and Evelynn were taking one. Ethen was going to have a harder time to find the snitch now but he had an extra round to do so while they were taking their penalty lap. Hopefully the rain wouldn't be too much of a problem. More of their team had been targeted and hit one being Serena that dropped from her broom only for Atlas to catch her. It seemed Atlas wouldn't get a break today, or her own broom. A thud was heard a little bit away and it dawned on Annie that Atlas couldn't support herself or Quinn on the broom after they got hit so she began to plummet until Serena caught her. Quinn on the other hand wasn't so lucky. She winced and prayed nothing had broken, seemed he would take a nice nap- er trip to the medical wing after the match. Aaron managed to score a few points but not without taking a fast bludger to the body. Ouch that would leave a bruise- or potentially a cracked rib. Annie sucked in another breath after everything had been concluded while the rain relentlessly pelted all the players and a few unlucky non-covered spectators.

Squinting through the rain, Ana attempted to collect her thoughts. With their Seeker on her broom, Ana's priorities were shifted from what they were when it was just her. Evelynn said something about ending this as quickly as possible. That sounded just fine to Ana. The rain had already soaked all the players and was making it nearly impossible to see, so Ana wouldn't particularly mind wrapping this up.
"You'll hear no disagreement from me," she called, squinting through the rain as she continued to move and searched for the ever elusive Snitch. Flashes of yellow and red alternated with lightning flitted before her eyes, but no gold. If she'd had a moment to contemplate the sight, she likely would have thought it rather beautiful, in a dangerous way. She didn't see any sign of the Snitch, but what she did see was an excellent opportunity to blatch a pair of Hufflepuffs (Quinn/Atlas).
Had Evelynn spotted the Snitch, Ana might have thought differently, but seeing as it was early in the game, she felt as if she had to at least try. "Decipio, I can blatch them from here and dismount both of them, I'm certain of it." Ana knew that the co-captain was not entirely fond of such maneuvers, but after waiting a moment and hearing no dissent from the redhead, Ana went for it. Leaning forward, she accelerated towards her target. Her vision tunneled, everything else seemed to go quiet, and even the rain seemed to have vanished. She was completely and perfectly in the zone, and even before the Lions impacted their yellow-clad schoolmates, she was certain it would work.
Despite the fact that the large Hufflepuff male likely weighed as much as her and Decipio combined, he and his companion who had rescued him only moments before were unseated. Adrenaline coursed through the Chaser's veins as she maneuvered away from now empty broom.
A penalty lap was assigned, which brought Ana's spirits down ever so slightly, but she bit her lip and resigned herself to her fate. One of their victims was caught, evidently, but she was still highly pleased with herself as she began her penalty lap.
Long story short, I survived

Lost in his mind, Ethen had to shake his head vigorously to reorient his focus on the game. It was proving as chaotic as ever and he knew that his team was counting on him. His eyes flashed about the pitch looking for a flash of gold but he knew he needed to stay somewhat vigilant about their aggressive foes. They seemed to have really showed up to deal some damage and Ethen would like to make it through a game still on his broom.
Making sure to stay nimble, Ethen kept his head on a swivel searching every inch of the pitch. As of yet there was now useful sign but he knew it would only be a matter of time before his eyes caught a glint and he had to be ready. His hand clutched at his broom, flexing and relaxing as he moved. The hunt would continue...

The rain was getting heavier by the second and clouded Stanley's vision of the game. Silently, he grumbled to himself and balled his hands into fists before bringing them up to his eyes and rubbing them furiously. Clumps of hair stuck to his forehead and his clothes were starting to stick to his skin as well. A quick flash caught the boy's attention, he swerved to the action and saw his captain fall and hit the ground. Stanley flinched hopping it didn't hurt as bad as it looked like it did.
Turning his attention back the their seeker, he mumbled small words of encouragement to himself to reassure that everything would be fine. Aaron had already scored two goals and they were catching up to Gryffindor. Everything would be fine. Everything would be sorted out soon enough.

Scarlett was right, there would be another chance to succeed, but Griseldis decided on another target this time. Knowing which target her Partner would go after she turned around to find a certain familiar face and that person was Aaron, the boy she once met at the courtyard asking her to be a security of the ball, however, things didn't turn well at all and became a complete disaster. Well, she was glad that he was alive and well in the end and after that they only briefly see each other on the Quidditch pitch. Sometimes Griseldis would see him at the Great Hall during breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Griseldis watched as the Hufflepuff Chaser scored two times at their posts with ease since their Keeper was still doing the penalty. She waited until she believed it was the right moment to attack the Chaser. Despite the stormy weather it didn't ruin her focus and successfully aimed right at him. Although it was expected that one hit wouldn't be strong enough to knock him off his broom. The sudden uproar behind her took her attention, and that was when she saw Anastasia and Evelynn blatched the girl and the giant off the broom they shared. One of their own teammates seemed to only able to save the girl and not Quinn. Seeing her own teammates cheat always made her frown a bit, but it turned out to be quite a common tactic nowadays. She would be lying if she said she wasn't glad that one of their powerful Beaters was out of the game.

Continuing to cheer for her team throughout the game, Gia glanced up at the sky once or twice, hoping that the clouds gathering above wouldn't end up turning into a full-blown storm, for that would make it harder for both teams competing. Feeling a drop land on her nose, the first year sighed. Oh well. Her hoping clearly hadn't done much...
Swiping a hand across her eyes in an attempt to get the rain out of them, Gia barely caught the quaffle soaring through the hoop at the hands of one of the Hufflepuff players. Grumbling under her breath at the unfortunate timing of the storm, the Gryffindor constantly kept wiping rain out of her face as she tried to see what exactly was going on.
She had heard there were some sort of binoculars that could slow down all the action... those would definitely be helpful right about now, Gia thought. Because while the action was hard to keep up with when sitting on the ground, the rain doubled the level of difficulty. "GO LIONS!" The rain was still coming down heavily as the game continued. Akari let a small sigh out. She definitely didn't envy the players up there having to carry on and keep their heads straight and focused meanwhile getting drenched. It most positively was unpleasant but the show must go on.
Due to the damp and chilly draft of wind that felt like it had just passed right through her, the young lion crossed her arms across her chest trying to keep whatever warmth she had remaining, all the while her eyes never left the sky, not even once.
Fingers crossed for her teammates, she kept on watching.

Haley kept sliding around on her butt, nervously bouncing her knee and her eyes darting back and forth as she watched the game. She almost didn't realise it was raining and when she did, she ignored the fact and just concentrated on not letting it affect her vision too much. She slumped her shoulders for a moment as the Hufflepuffs managed to score, but they were still ahead of them "GO LIONS!" she shouted through the rain to cheer on her team and crossed her fingers.
