The duel started to heat up, as all the spells were successfully cast. Aida had set her eyes on her target, and she casther Incendio duo towards Ileen. The Slytherin girl almost managed to avoid the flame, but the fire got her and her robes started to be aflame. As a payback however, Ileen's wind jinx successfully hit the Ravenclaw girl, who would be hit by a strong jolt of wind, and trying to avoid any other spell will prove difficult as long as the wind kept blowing like that.

Alexander had decided to cast Incendio duo towards Aida as well. His spell successfully hit the girl, who almost looked as if she walked right into the spell. Was she too focused on casting her own spell? While all of this was happening, Damion decided to bring some more smoke into the duel: soon the platform filled up with thick grey smoke, and seeing would have been difficult for the next round. Hopefully nobody will hit their own partner.

Now, with finally a clear vision, the situation was different. Both sides had to take the first opportunity to cast before anyone had the chance to make things difficult again.
Ileen was still proud of her third-year spell and decided to use it again. She had tried to cast it in the past two duels but never had managed to actually hit her opponent. Not this time. Although she felt still sort of uncomfortable raising her wand against Aida, she fixed her dark brown eyes on the pale knight, ready to act. They both took it as an opportunity to practice facing a friend and thus tried to put it into a positive light. So far, no one had tried to spare the other. She wouldn't start doing that now.

Still, her heart was pounding, but her hand was steady as she performed the movement for the wind jinx. But before she could speak the incantation, a spell was sent in her direction by Aida.
Ileen’s lips parted for a silent gasp and still in the middle of her spell, she tried to sidestep and dodge. But this time, the girl was too slow. Her robe caught fire and the young girl felt the burning pain on her skin as the flames bit her flesh.
She tried to suppress a painful moan and fought back the pain that threatened to distract her. No. Not this time. She would use the sharp flame to focus and to keep her mind clear.
Though she felt like her mind was focused on the flames forever it only took one second. So only a moment later she released her own spell and managed to hit her friend within.
“Good aim!” She sent a small smile her way and proudly watched the effect of her own spell.

Only a second later, Aida was hit again by Alexander who also gifted her with the painful accessoire of flames on her robe.
Ileen felt a rising guilt. She didn’t like to hurt her friends....
Before she could throw herself in a pit and forget about the honourable statement she made before, dark smoke blocked her vision again.
Even though she herself and Aida involuntarily served as a light source, she couldn’t see her friends again. “Oh, come on! Again?”
Damn, this smoke and the pain really spoiled the fun...

• The auto-dodge chance can stack only to 20% from any number of sources and in this case 9 or 10 would be considered a success.

Compared to the round before, this one was way calmer. Both teams' spells were successfully cast, but not all of them hit their intended target.

Ileen decided to concentrate on the flames that were burning her robes, and aimed a well cast extinguo at them; this way she saved herself from more pain and damage, her uniform safe from the fire. Alexander had decided to keep his focus on Aida, but opted for another spell this time.

His flipendo was well cast, and it flew towards the Ravenclaw girl; however, she really did not want to be hit in this round, and she quickly dodged out of the way. The flames on her robes slowly went out, but they still dealt 60 HP of damage, leaving the girl looking not too good. At the same time, just as the smoke started to clear, Damion cast another Fumos, this time filling up the whole space with a thicker smoke.

Lydia tried her best to observe everything that might happen next, ready to call for a stop in case any duellist would faint.
