Hmm... I wonder- @Echo Maximoff if you are interested in learning about history, but in a historical fiction way, I suggest American Girls (I may be a male, but god- I became obsessed with them)

@Noah Jupe OMG I loved those books! They'd be perfect if you're learning English @Echo Maximoff because they aren't super long or complicated but they have interesting, easy-to-follow plot lines and characters.
(Side Note: And boys can read books about girls, just like girls can read books about boys. It makes me mad when people discourage and/or don't read books about the opposite gender just because they aren't 'girly' or 'masculine' enough. That's rubbish. EDIT: Sorry for ranting XD)

EDIT: What you read those too? I used to be obsessed with the Little House series, though I didn't like the derogatory way she talked about Native Americans. My mom has the whole set from when she was a kid and she passed them on to me and my siblings when we were old enough to read.

:plead:EDIT: Well- the time period- it was allowed... but Little House isn't awful, it just has "politically incorrect" terms and descriptions, but it explains the Pioneer Life (and by the way, the whole thing is a true story... except the first two books flipped ages)

I tried Little House In The Big Woods once but didn't like it much oof. I think I might have read it too late or something because it wasn't really exciting enough if that makes sense lol. Classics-wise though, I'm a fan of Little Women, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, The Secret Garden, and The Little Princess, which nearly made me cry the first time I read it haha
