In response to Aldor, Tory just nodded and waved her hands dismissively, almost as if shooing the (very icky) topic of romance out of the air to make room for a new, much less disgusting subject. The lion pulled her knees up to her chest, lying her head on them and yawning a sleepy, afternoon yawn. "What was it like?" She asked suddenly, looking off into the bookshelves beyond her. "Getting your acceptance letter, I mean."She added quickly to clear up what she meant.
"I'm uh- I'm a pureblood or whatever,"She inhaled sharply to herself as she spoke about her blood-status; it always made her uncomfortable to talk about it since lots of blood prejudice and purity still happened, "so it was heavily expected, but your muggleborn, and I'm curious as to what your first thoughts were like." She finished.
Tory wasn't just trying to make conversation, she was actually really curious. The first year girl had no muggleborn friends whatsoever, and this was a good way to find out the answers to her burning questions about muggles and the shock of finding out they had magical blood running through their veins. She thought that if she hadn't been a witch her entire life, she would have probably thought magic was just a myth. That magic was fake, something that only appeared in foolish tales about giants and fairies.
In fact, sometimes she thought she'd give everything to be a muggle and forget about magic. Just for a single day to see what it was like. There would be no need to worry about potions essays or beasts in forbidden forests if neither existed, would there?

Aldor paused for a few seconds, taking a strand of his hair and twirling it around his finger nervously.
''Well, I started a storm in my house and I got rewarded with a letter that invited me to the single most amazing place on earth. I was shcoked, If that answers your question haha.''
The boy chuckled as he rested his chin over the palm of his own hand.
He made a pause, thinking about the day it all started, how he became part of the world he know lives in, how he got bassically expelled from the world he lived in before he ever knew about the existence of magic.
The whole situation was more of a horror story than a happy moment. It was a day in which he changed to never go back to the life he had, so he skipped the bad parts and simply decided to tell what his first instance of magic did in his heart, instead of what it did outside.
''I'm not sure how I can describe it, I think it was scary at first, but then, as the years went by, I realized what the fact that I had magic in me implicated. You know, dragons, unicorns, adorable- horse sized spiders.''
He would smile softly, looking back at Tory, as he stopped playing with his hair and brushed it a side.
''I don't know, the fact that a whole society of wizards and creatures that I used to believe were mythical was waiting for me- It blew my mind.''

'Well, I started a storm in my house and I got rewarded with a letter that invited me to the single most amazing place on earth. I was shcoked, If that answers your question haha.'' Tory nodded. "That's pretty cool, all I did was shatter a window." She muttered to herself, waiting for him to say something else. ''I'm not sure how I can describe it, I think it was scary at first, but then, as the years went by, I realized what the fact that I had magic in me implicated. You know, dragons, unicorns, adorable- horse sized spiders.'' He continued, and she nodded more vigorously.
"You like acromantulas to?" Tory exclaimed, clearly surprised. Aldor smiled a light, soft smile in which the lion returned. The Hufflepuff of the two went on, Tory replying simply with, "Yeah...my mind would probably be blown to." She glanced at the clock, high up on one of the old walls, remebering her much overdue history essay, and though she would much rather stay to chat, it had to be done at some point. "I should go." She said, gathering her things. "I need to finish up some homework."
"See you at the Blossom Ball." And with a smile and a wink, she was off, her black and red robes swaying behind her.

''See you soon.''
Aldor sighed quietly, he was actually quite happy, it was a bit of his time quite well spent, there wasn't anything he regrets about seeing Tory again, she was just as kind as he remembers, he was sure that he finally found a friend he would keep for a long time, or at least that is what he hoped for, things were going to go smoothly.
Now the only thing he had to work with was choosing a proper set of clothes for the ball, it wasn't like he had any idea of what he was supposed to do in the Ball, but at least there was going to be food, and Tory was also going to be there, which made decision taking much easier, she was very calm most of the time, and she seemed to have a much better time handling her own thoughts, unlike Aldor.
In the end, he just stood up, and slowly walked out of the library, heading directly towards the dorms, if he was going to choose something fancy for the ball, he should start doing that as soon as possible, maybe he should as lady Moon if she had any ideas.
At least he felt joyful, more than usual.
