APART FROM WHAT'S expected of pureblood wizards and witches, the Blythe family has the reputation for their gentleness and humble nature; traits that have not passed on to Cedrella, as she often carries herself as detached, blunt, and, overall, disinterested with others.

It’s never her intention to harm others with her words and behavior, no. Cedrella was never able to develop a filter growing up, which leads to her harsh words coming off the wrong way. Given her detached self, the girl almost never apologizes for her behavior, only if the damage caused by her words is something she can easily catch on to.

Cedrella is much more talkative around her other brothers, finally relaxing and letting herself enjoy things as they are. Easily persuaded to follow on their mischievous behavior, she has gotten herself in a lot of trouble growing up, for ideas that weren't even hers in the first place. She has an inclination to child-like, rebel-without-cause trouble, but never goes to the point of being called a little spunk.

She's enthusiastic about poetry and wishes to follow in her late grandmother's footsteps as a famous writer in the wizarding world, inventing folktales and children's horror stories that mark generations. Unlike her brothers, who are all proactive; one soon to become an Auror, and the other finishing his very last year at Hogwarts to work as an Alchemist or Healer, Cedrella finds comfort in art, stuck in the unused office in Blythe Manor, writing silly stories she only ever shares with the family's house-elf.

CEDRELLA CARRIES SIMILAR features to her mother and older brothers. Strawberry blonde wavy hair, foxy facial features, longer limbs, fairer skin, and autumn eyes. Her high-nose bridge and heart-shaped lips are all very reminiscent of her grandmother and make her look older than she actually is. Her family says a key point to her overall look is her resting face, almost cold and impassive.

THE BLYTHE FAMILY is a well-regarded, pureblooded family, currently residing in Oxford, England. Composed of Annelise, Arthur, and their children: Bennedict, Bartolomeo, and, of course, Cedrella Blythe, the youngest and only female of this newer generation in the family tree.

Despite her odd behavior, especially when compared to everyone in her family, Cedrella was raised well; her parents were never overbearing or exposed her to things she wasn't comfortable with. Annelise and Arthur took care of her but still gave her space, whenever their affection came close to suffocating.

Cedrella was loved, and given whatever she might have wanted, which in a way, stopped her from developing a sense of desire and want from life in general. She’s content with what’s she got, as she has maintained a solid, healthy, loving relationship with her older siblings and parental figures. One of her favorite memories growing up was cuddling up with her brothers next to the fireplace, listening to her mother's soft voice, as she read them fairytales.

She has always known and been a part of the wizarding world, surrounded by magic; displayed right before her eyes. However, Cedrella’s first instance of magic was at her seventh birthday party: while playing around with her brothers and cousins, the girl broke her mother’s favorite vase. Afraid of making her mother mad, Cedrella’s panic caused the vase to be restored. Piece by piece, like nothing had happened in the first place.

Despite having a few muggle neighbors, Cedrella hasn't had much contact with muggle culture. While it's not something she goes out of her way to learn about, she finds it rather interesting, and wants to pick up a muggle fantasy book, to see the difference in their literature.
