Vanilla Twilight Finished

"Oh, it is cold, isn't it? It seems like you didn't really prepare for that, huh? If you like, you could borrow my robe, or maybe my scarf, I'm pretty warm already. You clearly need it more," Lorelai said, and Ami blushed. "No, no, there's no need," she insisted. "I brought about my own downfall. Say, do you know where the kitchens are? Maybe we could sneak in and make hot chocolate, sit by the fire... or whatever you British people do to warm up. I'm spoiled in America, to be frank, and I have no idea what's allowed and what's not allowed here," Ami admitted, laughing, now jumping up and down as the wind picked up. "For the time being, I guess we could just go in, unless you want to stay out here. I need to warm up before I get frostnip, though, so I'm just gonna pop in for a bit, if you don't mind."

"No, it's fine by me. You defiantly don't want to freeze to death out here. Next time you should prepare for the weather."Lorelai gave a slight judgmental stare at the girl."Well, I guess I'llsee you around then, right?"Lorelai asked, pushing a stray hair behind her ear.

She couldn't deny that she was a little sorry to end their conversation, but she understood why. It was getting rather cold, and it was already very late. Lorelai felt bad that Ami decided to go inside on this beautiful night instead of taking her scarf, but they did have school the next day after all. She didn't want her grades to suffer because she went to the Astronomy tower to talk to some random girl. Overall, she had a very pleasant encounter with this girl and hoped that they would become good friends in the future. Lorelai gave one last friendly smile to the girl before she left to go inside. Hopefully, no one noticed she had been gone. She then left the Astronamy tower, sneaking back into her dormitory for the night.
