After the upset of yesterdays game [outcome unknown, refer to adjacent thread], the crowd came to the pitch excited. Depending on who won in both the games this weekend, one house would be moving on the the interschool game over the summer where they would represent Hogwarts. Last year it was Hufflepuff and they defeated Durmstrang and remained undefeated the entire school year. This year Gryffindor is on a winning streak but that may come to an end when they face off against Hufflepuff once again.
The stadium was abuzz with excitement. Several students held hand-made signs declaring their favored house. Many of the students wore their house colors as a statement of pride. The weather was good, temperate. One of the warmest days of the school year. The sky was slightly overcast, leaving a blanket of grey over the heavens and a cool northern breeze ran through the pitch.Gryffindor Points to date: 350

The first to arrive would get the best seat in the house right? Not exactly, as he didn't want to be in the center of attention. Unfortunately, that didn't work the way he expected the last time he attended a match and he was quite honestly surprised he hadn't been banned from attending the matches for the rest of the year. Despite what had happened at the last match, he decided to come support one of his best friends, the captain of the Gryffindor team, Rafa. This wasn't a sport that he was interested in, but, he did support those people with whom he was closest and couldn't help feel a bit of pride that the Cap' was doing so well with this year's team.
As he walked through the stands trying to determine his placement for the match, he'd look up towards the sky and note that the day was actually pretty nice. Unlike the last match, it wasn't as cold and his attire for the day slightly changed because of this fact. Instead of the typical black hoodie that he normally adorned, he'd instead wear just a black t-shirt. How different, huh? Accompanying this, he'd still wear the black, ripped, skinny jeans he was sometimes found in and was set in an all neutral attire to not show which house he supported. This was something he usually did when he was allowed to dress how he wanted, to not be affiliated, as he did not typically admire the necessity for houses in general.
As his golden hues shifted from the sky and back towards the stands, he'd settle instantly upon a far stand that seemed solitary as one could be in this location, against the side of the benches where it met the large pillars that he could rest his shoulder against. As he settled himself down upon the bench, he'd also settle that ivory-white wand of his down upon his lap, the hilt of it settled in a position to where his dominant hand was just an inch away. The boy looked down to his lap for a moment and he muttered to himself, "Hopefully, we have a good day," he said, talking to his wand. It was his obsession, his partner in life which he cherished more than most in this weird wizarding world that he found himself attached to.
