It was his 13th birthday but all the second year could think about was the letter from his older brother and twin the whole day. Even chance he got, the boy would head to the owlery to see if it arrived which it didn't yet.
Before Hogwarts Henry would spend his birthday with his twin and older brother but after arriving at Hogwarts he thought that would be impossible... until they discover a new tradition to celebrate with owls and letters so he was still waiting for it to come.

Classes just ended and Henry would race to check the owlery for a letter that still didn't come, if he could then Henry would have stayed their all evening but couldn't since he remembered that a few days ago he sent letters out to a few close friends about his birthday asking them to go to the campgrounds at 4:40 or around that time.
So Henry left the owlery and headed back to his common room then dormitory to drop his books off in his bunk room and take off the slytherin uniform. To reveal a sweater and jeans underneath along with a slytherin watch.
The newly thirteen year old would call his orange feline; Loki to follow him once he grabbed a few parchments and headed out.
First stopping in the kitchens to politely ask the house elfs for a tray full of marshmallows, chocolate bars, graham crackers, sprinkles, and fruit. Which at least in Henry's mind the house elfs did more than he asked for and was thankful for it since he thanked them multiple times.
The second year then would carry the tray through the castle and the grounds before finagling reaching the more quiet campgrounds, grant it his to favorite places were the great lake and library but for the moment this was a perfect spot.
Henry would find a rather large tree stump and lay the tray down for a moment before going to look around for something else.
Eventually the second year returned with two wooden boxes and he laid them onto each other before placing the tray on top. The second year then rather neatly organized the three parchments around the tray.
Stepping back as Henry smiled at the display, his older brother sent him the papers earlier and thought it might have been a rather humorous touch in which Henry agreed.
Loki sat onto a stump and gave a short meow when Logan came into sight, remembering that the girl was there to help him set up which explained how she was the first to arrive and so he also thought that Gia shouldn't be fall behind either since her letter said she was coming early to help as well.
Henry would wave toward Logan with a smile as he spoke" Hey," Loki would jog over to greet the girl while Henry gestured toward the set up before asking" do you like it? Do you think there's anything missing?"
Henry would wait for her response before kneeling down at the firepit and withing drawing a single match from his pocket, granted he had magic but at times he perfer muggles ways over spells. Henry used the match to light a fire contained in the pit before turning back to Logan with a smile and waiting for the others to show.

Kara was running down the hill to get to where she was supposed to go. It was a fresh spring afternoon, and the air was crisp with a soft breeze, making her smile at the new warm weather. Kara somewhat now wished that her birthday was during the spring instead of the freezing winter. In her arms was a twine wrapped gift, specifically a book series, Lord of the Rings. In her other arm, she was carrying Moonshine, her silver and white fluff ball.
She made it to the spot, and saw a bonfire. She looked at it, smiling softly, sometimes Kara's whole family would get together for smores and other stuff outside, with a big bonfire lit up, and Kara reveled in the memories before grabbing a stick of marshmallows, putting down the gift beside Henry and letting Moonshine go and sniff and play with Loki.
"Well hello there birthday boy Henry!" Kara said in an excited but quiet voice, smiling softly while ruffling his hair.
"So, how's it feel to be a part of the teenagers club? I joined in a few months ago. Now that I think about it, it's your golden birthday today! If you don't know what that is, it's when your age and your birthdate match." She smiled, putting the marshmallows over the fire, wanting to make some warm marshmallows, she doesn't particularly like smores because she doesn't like a lot of chocolate.
She looked up at the brunette girl with Henry, and she gave the girl a small smile in greeting.
"I'm Henry's friend, Kara Capricorn, it's nice to meet you. She drew back the stick, taking one of the marshmellows off a popping it in her mouth.

Today was an important day. Well, in all honesty, it began like any normal day. And to most, it seemed like a normal day. But this day was marked on her calendar for a reason. It was her close friend, Henry's, birthday. And she was invited. Truth be told she was nervous because surely she would be the only first-year. At least she was 12, maybe they would take her a bit more seriously...
While some might spend their time wondering what to wear, Paige was pretty much get up and go. She was able to change from her robes into jeans, a yellow shirt, and a yellow sweater with two bumblebees sewn on. She wore black boots and picked up the wrapped gift which contained a board for all of his photos. She had owled her mom asking if she could send her this, and to take the money from her allowance, so technically she did pay for it.
The gift tucked under her arm, she walked outside. Smiling at the bonfire, she waved to Henry and the two other students with him. "Hey! Happy Birthday, Henry, how was your day so far?" She turned to the other students and smiled. "Hey, I'm Paige~" She looked around for Loki and let him sniff her.

Henry Knight was one of Rose's best friends. And she did not take that title loosely. He was one of her closest and best friends. All he had ever done was support her in all she did. He was just the kind of person that you wanted as a friend. The kind of person you knew would always be there for you. The kind of person who deserved your time.
And it was because of all of this, and Henry Knight... That Rose Moon was now broke.
Rose came down to the place where she had heard his birthday celebration was going to be, her present in her hands. It was quite big, actually. It was a square box wider than her waist and came up at least four or five inches tall. It was plainly wrapped, with boring green wrapping paper. But she had gotten a quill and written his name on the side, in her neat and curly handwriting. Rose just hadn't been able to afford anything after his present inside. She was glad that she had made up with her mom- it had been her mom who had sent her the box and the wrapping paper, and helped with shipping the stuff she bought to Hogwarts. She really did appreciate her mom and all the hard work she did for her.
She came down to the grounds carrying the big green box. She spied Henry and Logan, as well as a couple of other girls. She couldn't help but smirk. Henry sure did have a lot of female friends, that was for sure. She came closer to him, then set down the box so she could jog over and hug him. "Henry! Happy birthday!" She said, smiling. She definitely said less than ten other two girls, but mostly because she wasn't completely confident in big group gatherings. When she pulled away from him, she went and picked the present back up again. "This is for you. Where do you want me to put it?"

Henry would smile over at Logan as they waited for the others to arrive before looking over to find his orange feline; Loki following around Sherlock and occasionally brushing up against the cat. Smiling to himself as the boy took a single strawberry and popped it into his mouth before turning to Logan and speaking with a playful grin" do you think we should increase the size of the bonfire robin?"
However his thought process came to a halt when the thirteen year old noticed someone fast approaching them, once the figure came closer Henry noticed it was Kara Capricorn whom he consider a friend and a good one at that from slytherin caring a parcel and her own feline.
A part of him felt embarrassed and awkward when recieving gifts probably because he never really got use to others giving him items or celebrating things like his birthday with him. It was a rather old habit when he was younger, one that he hoped to grow out of... someday...
Henry smiled toward Kara and felt her ruffle his hair, in return he playful ruffled the side of her before playfully pushing her shoulder as he replied" thanks Kara," eyeing the present his friend just put on the ground and still feeling quite awkward about recieving it before turning to find the fellow slytherin starting to roast marshmallows. Technically speaking he set this up for his friends especially the chocolate part since strangely the boy never quite enjoyed chocolate.
The second year would eye the three felines now on the grounds, Loki wild run up to Moonshine and playgirl bat at her head before lightly nipping at the felines ear and running back and forth between the two until felines; Sherlock and Moonshine.
Smiling lightly at his orange cat before listening and smiling a bit with his hands in his jean pockets as he replied" it feels nice to officially apart of the teenage club, when does the rebeling and rule breaking starts through," his question was meant as a joke as he eye Logan with a mischievous grin before back at Kara as he continued" so it's my official teenage and golden birthday while your golden was when you were 12," a small laugh emitted from the boy before he brushed his hair out of his eyes and continued to look toward Kara wondering if she was surprised that he remembered her birthday.
After another moment or two and also with Kara's words, Henry just remembered that the two may not have known each other so Henry decided to have some fun with this as he wrapper a arm around Logan and playful squeezed her shoulder before speaking" Kara this is my best friend Logan and," a moment pause as Henry let go of Logan to playful jab at Kara's shoulder before continuing" and like she already said, that's Kara a good friend if mine."
Henry was so far enjoying this and could have for the rest of the day, just Logan, Kara, and himself plus their 3 felines but another came which seemly brighter his mood even more and took his mind off of the letter from home he still haven't received yet.
Paige Grant, a close friend and fellow werewolf was the next to arrive again carrying a gift for him which increased his anxiety at the sight of it but the thirteen year old ignored the the feeling as he smiled toward Paige before speaking" Hey Paige! It's great to see you," Loki then would run up to Kara and rub against the slytherin to greet her before running over to Paige to first sniff her fingers before rubbing against the hufflepuff's legs.
After greeting both girls, the orange feline would trot back toward Sherlock and Moonshine as Henry spoke with a smile and playful tone, " Paige, the quiet one is Logan and the one roasting is Kara," before turning toward Logan and gesturing with raised hands as he spoke" only joking."
After Henry would put his hands back into his pockets and smile at the rest, listening to their conversation. For a while it was only the four of them plus 3 felines which Henry didn't mind, especially since the boy was use to only his siblings celebrating his birthday with him and one of them was his twin so...
However after a whole another show up and Henry could tell who by their bright red hair.. however for a moment Henry thought about Alexa Mackenzie and how her hair shown bright like a raging bonfire with bright ember green eyes.
Shaking himself off of thinking about Alexa, Henry would wave a bit with a smile before replying to her, " Hey Rose! I'm glad your here," eyeing a rather bigger box wrapped with green parchment in her arms and instantly Henry felt guilt and awkward that she spent money on him before smiling and taking the box as he spoke" I got it, thanks Rose I'm sure it will be amazing whatever it is," the thirteen year old then placed the box next to the Kara's present and the tray but away from the bonfire.
Having a thought that Rose may not know the others either well beside from Logan, Henry smile as he spoke" there's still plenty of chocolate and fruit if you want Rose, also litter marshmallows just not sure about the larger ones," eyeing Kara as he playful spoke" another might have ate them all."

Logan was not having the greatest of days, she had managed to fail a spell in Transfiguration and just couldn't concentrate in DADA. In the end, she attempted to keep her mood up though, she didn't want to ruin Henry's birthday just because she was having a bad day. When classes had ended, the Hufflepuff made her way to her dorm to change out of her robes, but also to grab Sherlock.
"Come on Sherlock," she muttered as she made her way down to the Great Lake where she knew Henry would be. She had changed into a pair of jeans with a navy blue long sleeved shirt, simple but nice. The girl honestly had no idea who was going to be had Henry's little fire, but she knew there were going to be people that she didn't know and was going to have to interact with.
The first thing she noticed when arriving was Loki, giving the cat a short greeting as he ran to her. She grinned a bit as Sherlock greeted the other cat as well. "Happy Birthday Charm, It looks great," she said with a soft smile on her face. She was attempting to seem as happy as possible, even though she was stressing out in her mind. Normally she was great at meeting Henry's other friends, but she was afraid she wouldn't get along with someone on his birthday and ruin it for him, and then he wouldn't want to be her friend anymore.
The Hufflepuff was so distracted that she hadn't even seen the next person show up until they were talking to her. Gulping slightly, she smiled only to sigh in relief when Henry introduced her. She gently leaned against Henry as he spoke only to stand up straight again when he pulled away. "Hello, it is nice to meet you," she said with a slight smile on her face.
As another person showed up, Logan recognized this person as another Hufflepuff. She had no idea what her name was, but she had seen her at the Hufflepuff table many times before. The brunette giggled quietly as Henry introduced her as the quiet one. Henry was putting his hands up like he was surrendering and Logan knew it was a joke, no matter how true it was. Henry was always going to be more social than her, even if they were both very antisocial. "Hello," she greeted as she glanced over to see Sherlock making his way over to her. She crouched down and ran her hand over his back to comfort herself before straightening again.
Rose was the next person to show up, and it comforted Logan greatly. She knew who Rose was and they had gotten along before. "Hello Rose," Logan greeted, hoping everyone else was not offended by the fact she was not directly talking to them.

The redhead smiled at Henry. "I'm glad you invited me," she said, meaning it. Her voice was, as always, gentle and soft. It was clear on her face that she was happy to be here, and happy that Henry seemed happy. "I sure hope it is, you deserve it, after all." It was true. The two of them had stuck together for so long, and Rose was convinced that Henry deserved what was in the box that she had gotten together for him.
She looked over to the fire to see another girl with short hair. She didn't know her name, but Rose was fairly sure she was a second year, as she had seen her here and there in some of her classes. She also saw Paige. Rose and Paige had met only briefly by the lake back in March, but Rose would consider her a friendly acquaintance. They had gotten along well, and Rose knew she was a good person. She greeted the younger girl. "Hey, Paige. How are you?"
Other than Rose, Paige, Henry, and the unnamed other girl, Logan was also here. No surprise there. Henry had said that he considered the Hufflepuff his best friend. Rose had met her, as well, when Henry had invited her to decorate cookies with him and Rose. She hadn't minded Logan's company and had been glad to get to know her. She was a cool person, and Rose would consider her a friendly acquaintance as well. Logan greeted her, but there was something off about Logan. "Hey, Logan." she asked, offering the girl a smile. She kind of had to pull back from one of her automatic responses to being greeted. Her mother had always told her to ask how somebody was doing- it was just polite. Logan seemed kind of... tired. And almost relieved to see Rose here. She didn't see Logan as the kind of person to know a whole lot of people. Though they were both introverted, that was more Henry than Logan. Maybe she was feeling overwhelmed with all the people that were here that she didn't know. Or maybe she was just not having a very good day. Either way, Rose knew that she had been there before. Rose hated lying to people, especially when she was lying to say that she was okay, so she didn't ask in front of all these people, almost tempting Logan to lie and say that she was fine.
Rose was much more observant than many other people she knew. Sometimes it was a blessing, and it helped her and other people a lot. Sometimes, though, she wished that she didn't know what others were feeling just by a glance at their face. It almost felt supernatural. It almost felt like she was intruding on someone.
But what was she supposed to do without embarrassing Logan? "Logan, do you wanna see if there are any more marshmallows left?" she offered, trying to find a way to pull Logan away from the group. If the girl followed her, Rose would go over to the campfire, get them a couple of marshmallows to roast- thankfully, the unnamed girl had not, in fact, eaten all of them. It was just Henry joking around about her. They went to the other side of the campfire, and Rose asked Logan, "Are you okay?" Her voice was only loud enough for the two of them to hear over the campfire.

Henry would have been happy if he spent the day with only one or two others like Logan and Kara for example before a part of him was borderline excited that there were four people who choose to show. Henry didn't think many would in the first place and he never properly celebrated his birthday as child with friends so that day felt like it was not only creating new memories but also replacing no ones. Even threatening to take his mind off of not receiving a letter yet from his elder brother and twin sister.
The four that were there; Logan, Kara, Rose, and Paige. Henry was glad that those four showed up since he considered each a close friend at best... minus one or two since Logan he saw as his best friend, Kara he saw as someone he could relax around and play around with, and Rose he saw as his future step sister. Still each of the girl's that were there meant something to Henry so he was glad that they showed up at the campgrounds.
As Henry was scanning the area and his guests, the teen picked up on a few things. One was Paige just seem to stand there and seem odd especially for her who seemed always outgoing and social and the second was something seem to have been bothering Logan. The slytherin wasn't great at telling others emotions but Logan was his best friend or a sister almost so he could recognize how she tended up when he removed his arm from her or remained silent for most of the time so far.
Henry wasn't about to say anything because he knew how antisocial she was, so instead the teen was thinking of ways to bring her off to the side and ask privately.... but how?
Henry continued to eye his best friend before turning back to the red head when he heard her voice and only nodded with a smile as he spoke" yeah, of course I invited you that would be rubbish if I didn't and thanks again for the gift I'm interested to see what it is," with the box still in his hand that was when Henry got a idea what if he pulled Logan off to the side to have her 'help' him open the gifts then ask her what was wrong.
Henry just needed to find a good point in which everyone was distracted to do so.... however the term got a idea when Rose mention Paige's name meaning they knew each other as he spoke" you two know each other?" the teen found it a bit odd that Paige knew Rose but again it sort of made sense since Rose was rather popular at Hogwarts and Paige was social.
Speaking about knowing people, Henry just remembered that another slytherin would he arriving soon.
A few days before during breakfast, Henry was joking around at the slytherin table with Cash when asked them to come and they did say they would go so the teen decided to speak, mainly toward Kara, " uh Cash should be coming to and one or two others," the teen just thought that their girlfriend would like to know that they would be coming when he then turned toward Logan as he asked" hey, could you help me with the gifts Robin?"
It wasn't technically a question, more like something you would hear from a older sibling say to their younger sibling as Henry gave the hufflepuff dueler a smile and nudge his head off toward one side where he eyes Loki playfully and quite happily running around with Sherlock and Moonshine.
"Logan, do you wanna see if there are any more marshmallows left?"
The words made Henry turn toward the girl and naturally he expected her to say something similar since she was social and probably did want to get to know Logan more however the teen was concerned with his best friend and wanted to make sure she was alright so he would say loud enough for Paige and Kara to hear as well, " Kara may have most of the marshmallows Rose," the boy would chuckle a bit at the joke about his slytherin friend before continuing" actually the marshmallows are near Kara along with a few other items, which please take as much as you like. Especially the chocolate, I'm not a huge fan of it myself but I got it mainly for all of you anyway."
The teen would then turn toward Paige as he spoke" have some to Paige, I had you especially in mind when I asked the house elf's for chocolate and strawberries," the teen would then wait a moment to watch Rose and Paige near the tray of sweets before turning toward Logan with a smile as he spoke" we can open them over there, come on Logan."
The teen decided to use her actually name as he nudged her to one side still carrying Rose's gift before seeing that they were a good distance from the group before placing it down next to Kara's and Paige's gifts and choosing to pick up Kara's and just hold it in his arms as he leaned close to Logan and said in a low voice, " classes rough as well?"
Henry would eye his best friend for a moment before he would whisper to her again, " what's wrong Logan? And no lying your my best friend, I can tell something's wrong."

Cash was late. They completely forgot that today Henry celebrated his 13th birthday. The other Slytherin had told Cash that he will celebrated it with some of his friends during one of those their shared breakfast period at the Slytherin table before activities and classes of the day begun. Cash was thankful that Henry consider them as one of his friends.
So, after the last class of the day ended; the green eyes hurried their paces back to their dorm. They changed from their school uniform into more comfortable and suitable ensemble of outfit for the occasion. The young Ironwoods had told Maritza (one of Cash most loyal and trusted helper back at the Ironwoods Manor) to send one of those journal that laying around that did not belong to anyone.
Once the journal arrived and in Cash possession, the purple haired saved it in safe place so no one will try to got ahold of it. The young socialite then looked once more before they get out from their dorm and marched towards where Henry birthday will be celebrate at. Once Cash arrived at the Campground, they were out of breath.
Not because they were out of shape but the location is a long way down from their dorm. When the Beater spot Henry, Cash marched toward him. "Feliz cumpleaños, mi amigo (happy birthday, my friend"Cash said in Spanish, their Cuban accent shine through. Cash then clapped Henry shoulder unaware of their surrounding.
"This is for you"The green eyes then presented the journal that Cash brought with them. "Sorry, I have not got the time to wrapped it"They told Henry. To be honest, Cash did not see the appealing of one wrapping a gift. At the end, the wrapping will get ripped anyway. So, what is the point of wrapping it in the first place.
Cash then scanned their surrounding and their eyes landed on their lover. The Cuban descendant walked towards the short brunette haired. Cash bend down and kissed Kara on the cheek. Usually Cash was not the type person that showing affection in public setting but the purple haired misses their girlfriend.
"Hello there, stranger"The green eyes teased Kara. Though Kara is their girlfriend; between the never ending pile of school works, Quid practice and matches, and social events around campus; the couple have not got the time to hang out by themselves. The green eyes then seated next to Kara. They looked around at the sweets.
Cash spotted chocolates (either it still in a bar shape or already been melted), marshmellows, rainbow sprinkles, raspberries and strawberries in a tray that laid on top of two wooden boxes. Truth to be told, Cash was not too fond of sweets but they still can eat the fruits that had been served by Henry.
The second year took 4 of each berries and popped it into their mouth. The sour taste of the berries is what Cash like the most. Cash then averted their eyes when they heard a meowing sound not so far from where they situated. Their eyes got huge for a spilt second. Cash could handle one cat but three cat in one place is a recipe for disaster in Cash opinion.
The purple haired spotted Loki and Moonshine but the other cat Cash did not know whose it belong to. Cash leaned back. Both of their hands supporting them as their hands planted on the ground. The warm from the fire pit make them a bit stiflingly hot under their garb.
Cash took off their jacket and fold it nicely beside them and waiting what next on the agenda for this little birthday celebration of Henry's.

Kara felt Henry return the hair ruffling, which made her laugh softly. She heard Henry thank her for the gift, to which she smiled.
"It was my pleasure, Henry."
She asked the boy how it felt to be a teen, and he mostly mentioned things like rebelling and rule breaking. So he seemed to be trying to fill in the stereotypes...wow how original. Kara had also before mentioned a golden birthday.
"So it's my official teenage and golden birthday while your golden was when you were 12," He said, to which Kara looked at him with wide eyes.
"Well, correct you are! Question is, do you remember the month? Kara stared at him intently before laughing, waving her hand in the air "Just kidding! You don't have to answer that question!"
She sat down and grabbed some marshmallows after introducing herself to the girl she now knew as Logan. After a bit, another person by the name of Paige showed up and introduced herself. She knew recognized Paige from passing her in the halls sometimes, but other than that, she knew nothing of the girl.
Another person showed up and said that her name was Rose. Rose she also didn't know to well, but whenever she saw redheads here at Hogwarts, they seemed to stick out in the crowd to her, as the bright colored hair was very much different from the rest.
"Uh Cash should be coming to and one or two others," Henry suddenly said.
"Oh really? Sweet! We've both been kinda busy, so it'll be nice to see them again!" She gave a pretty big grin. Kara only generally showed emotion when people she really cared about were mentioned or around as they made her comfortable, so it was nice news, but other than that, she kept her feelings neutralized.
Rose had started to Logan, which Kara was kind of ignoring while munching on a marshmallow, but when Rose asked Logan if she wanted a marshmallow, Henry pitched in with a snide joke.
"There's still plenty of chocolate and fruit if you want Rose, also littler marshmallows just not sure about the larger ones, another might have ate them all." Henry gave her a cheeky side glance, to which Kara returned with a sharp glare.
"You know I can hear you right? I have the full ability to throw my git to you into this big ass bonfire here." She made her voice intimidating, as Kara was a generally intimidating looking person, but she hoped Henry knew she was just joking.
Kara rolled her eyes sarcastically with a small smirk on her lips before Henry got up to help Rose out with bringing the gifts over, but then, the person she was looking forward to, other than the birthday boy himself, of course!
Her lover, Cassie had showed up, and bent down, giving a kiss on her cheek, smiling. Kara smiled before speaking "Hey, you missed!" Kara grabbed Cassie, kissing their lips before letting go "Much better."
Kara smiled at the purple haired Slytherin, her gaze softening from her once hard glare at Henry. Cassie soon planted themselves beside her, supporting themselves with their arms. Kara soon draped her arm around their shoulders while Cassie popped some berries into their mouth.
Moonshine would soon notice Cassie and leave from Sherlock and Loki to go rub her head against Cassie before laying down on Kara's lap while Kara was sitting criss-cross applesause. Kara would use her free hand to gently stroke the silver furred cat.
The short haired brunette would turn her head and call over to Henry, who was holding her gift.
"Hey Henry, make sure to open my pitiful excuse of a gift first!" She called to him before turning to Cassie and whispering to them "I can honestly bet he already owns what I gave him..."
