Physical

Height: She is about 4'5
Build: Slim, flexible
Face: Soft features to her face. Gentle eyes, slightly olived. Long dark lashes.
Hair: Silvery blonde or one could say it was almost white.
Eyes: Greyish blue with flicks of green
Skin: Sightly pale, it's a slight tinge of peach, when she gets sun, she doesn't tan, but it seems her skin has a slight undertone of pink.
Distinguishing marks: She has a birthmark on her hip that looks like a flower, she also has a scar on her elbow where she fell off the jungle gym at school.

Mental

Nersin is a bit of a flower child. She is a very curious person, but also loyal to those she cares about. Sin tends to find herself a bit of a daydreamer and also gets lost in her own thoughts on occasions. Nersin finds herself keeping track of things within her journals that she dreams, and researches them regularly. She finds herself emersed in nature and enjoys the greenhouse had to learn about herbs and plants. Nersin tends to keep to herself as she is afraid of hurting those that she may come close to. Though she does seem to connect to those that have the same interest as she does when it comes to nature and animals.

Personality Traits

From the time she was young it was expected that she would show signs of her abilities. Her mother was a witch with her father being a muggle. But they were uncertain of what abilities she would have. It seemed that she drew most of her abilities when she was in nature. Though he loved her mother, Nersin father was always quite distant from his daughter. He had wanted a son, and due to complications during his wife's first pregnancy, she was unable to have any more children. He blamed Nersin for that, and even more so when the discovery of her abilities came apparent. Savannah was very protective of her daughter and did her best to hide them.

Savannah was unsure what exactly it would be or when it would happen. So she kept her daughter secluded except for school. Even though she made friends, she wasn't allowed to partake in any activities or sleepovers with them. As the young girl got older, she spent most of her time out in nature and exploring the woods that surrounded her house. She came to find comfort in being alone, and this made her a bit of a loner and socially awkward in some situations. So, she slowly pushed people away and came to find that she was happier alone. She spent her time with her flowers, studying herbs, and dancing in the rain.

The summer of her middle school was when the owls started to appear. Nersin was slightly confused on the reasoning of why every time she would turn around an owl would be there waiting for her. Her mother worked at the school, so was rarely home during the day. While she was at school herself, her father attempted to shoo the creatures away and take the letter from them, so Nersin couldn't retrieve them. Finally, one Saturday, when she was out in the backyard of her small flat, a spotted owl came to land on the ground next to her. Staring at it for a moment, she reached out to pet it. As she stroked its head, she nuzzled into Nersin and dropped the letter into her lap. The young woman went to open it, with this, the owl flew away. Reading over it, she was confused.

Taking the letter to her mother, she asked her about it. The look on her mother's face was a mixture of relief and being scared. Her mother moved over to a trunk and pulled out a leather-bound book that was wrapped in an old cloth. She handed it to Nersin, and as the girl looked through it, she explained the heritage of the family. Savannah explained to Nersin, that there had been magic in their family for many centuries. Savannah herself was a witch, that had married a muggle. Of course, then she had to explain what a muggles was. After hearing the history of her family, and understanding what it all meant, the young woman became to realize that is perhaps why she was so different from others.

Over the weeks her mother took her to Diagon Alley to gather her items for school. The amusement could plainly be seen as the witchling discovered a whole new world of endless possibilities of things she could learn. One of her favorite shops was the Apothecary shop where she found that there were so many different and magical plants that could be discovered! For a bit of extra reading to help her decipher the new things she visited the Flourish and Bloots and took a peek at Magical Drafts and Potions, as it was part of her first-year studies.

Finally, it was the day that she would make the journey to the world of magic that would change her life forever.

First Instance of Magic

Nersin first instance of magic took place was when she was a toddler. Her family was out walking along the seashore, collecting shells, when a little water bird came floating across the water. Nersin got so excited that before the mother could catch her, the water split and she toddled out to the bird, who was highly confused about the situation.
