welp, sorry if it sounds weird. I've never been good at poetry, haha
she took her aim.
the rustling and noise,
the footsteps nearing,
the flashes and colors.

she took her aim.
it was vivid,
the pressure of it all,
the weight on her shoulders.

she took her aim.
almost quavering,
almost flinching,
almost leaving.

she took her aim.
holding on to it,
holding on to it all,
not letting go.

she took her aim.

and let it fly.
