She nodded in agreement with what he was saying, but instead of really listening, she watched him as he looked around. Sighing, she looked away from him and joined him in looking around the empty area.

"Well, I suppose it's to be alone. If it's just us we can behave however we want with no judgement...We can be as weird as we want to." She laughed, and considered making a silly face but she decided not to since she was too shy for that at the moment. "We can talk about or do anything we want." She leaned back in the seat they were on, tilting her head up to look at the clouds. Lillian really liked clouds for some reason, she actually knew a lot about them. She had read many books on them. Then she parted her hair down the middle, took one side and began braiding it absent-mindedly. Sometimes she just did that as a habit for no reason.

She continued to do that and look up at the sky. Some light hit her eyes, showing that they weren't exactly black but just a very dark brown. When the light hit her eyes they looked like amber jewels, and they were the only times she liked them because they didn't look boring and black. But this time she was too busy focusing on her hair and thinking to notice.

He noticed her eyes almost right away, moving a bit to get a better look. The corners of his mouth went from a upturned smile to more of a blank slate. he didn't want to seem creepy because he was staring, but he really couldn't look away. He is a bit straightforward, so he almost immediately blurted words out. ``your eyes look a lot lighter in the sun, its cool.`` He meant to say pretty, but he didn't want to come out as creepy still. He wasn't embarrassed by complimenting her, because she has complimented him countless times already. He still was hovering over the fact she said he reminded him of the sun, even though it wasn't the first time he had heard it.

Quickly trying to change the subject, he thought of a random question. ``Do you think they have a security system around here? like cameras or some weird spell?`` he was still looking directly at her, and watching her braid her hair. She did it so effortlessly, which took him by surprise. he wasn't even sure if he knew how to braid , since he's never tried or braided anything. watching her interweave the strands of hair made his foot begin to tap.

Lillian felt his eyes on her like she had before, but she just continued to braid her hair. She did blush when he complimented her eyes, but she thought she could get away with blaming it on the sun.

She was a little bit taken aback when he said "Do you think they have a security system around here? like cameras or some weird spell?" because it seemed like a random question. She still felt his eyes on her, so she didn't turn to look at him. "I don't think there's cameras, there's not really any technology at Hogwarts...But I read somewhere that there was a spell that made Hogwarts look like a ruined or dangerous castle to muggles so that they would stay away or something like that." She said with a shrug, just telling him what she could remember.

Now she turned to look at him, not taking any focus away from her hair but still managing to pay attention to him. "You know what i was thinking?" She said, smiling at what she was about to tell him, "I think we're the only ones out here because we're Scottish and we can handle the cold." She laughed

He kind of realized that the camera question made him sound like he was plotting something , when in reality he wasn't so he just tried to move on from it like she had. He had noticed she blushed a bit, but shook it off. she just could be flushed or pink from the sun.

He turned his head quickly, a bit red.``i actually enjoy when its a bit colder. well..i like when its warm too. and when its rainy-`` he really just couldn't decide, and rubbed the back of his neck. ``whats your favorite season or type of weather? `` he was genuinely curious, tilting his head as he does.``or holiday? sorry, lots of different questions at once there.`` he laughed. he didn't want to pester her, or distract her from what she was doing either, but he just loved talking to lillian and listening to when she talked. Beats talking to a sheep anyday.

She smiled and let go of her hair, starting to braid the other side. "I don't mind all of the questions...I actually quite like answering questions, it scratches and itch in my brain for some reason." She laughed a little.

"Well, I do like the snow...But when it snows in the city it mostly just becomes yucky grey slush because all of the vehicles and all of the people walking around. I like when it's warm but not too hot because then I don't really have to worry about what I'm wearing, you know? Like I can wear a skirt without having to wear tights and stuff." she laughed a little, "I do love rain though...So maybe my favourite season is spring." She shrugged.

"As for my favourite holiday I love love LOVE Halloween," she said excitedly, bouncing up in her seat a little but continuing to braid her hair. "Sorry, that was a little loud, I just really love Halloween. I like Chinese New Year because I usually get to speak to my relatives and my mum cooks a lot...And fireworks night because it's near my birthday." she giggled. She spoke a lot but she only wanted to answer Adonis' questions as best she could

As for my favourite holiday I love love LOVE Halloween,"He gasped a little bit, not bothered by her being loud at all. in fact, he just about matched her level of loudness. ``i love halloween too! all the candy, and dressin' up..`` he laughs. He noted that her birthday was near the chinese new year, and he planned not to tell her when his was. After All, he hates his birthday and the holiday it comes with. valentines day. He'd often just bake himself a small cake each year , since his parents never really celebrated it with him too much.``do they celebrate holidays uup here at hogwarts? `` he really hoped they did, it would be fun seeing all the magical things people would come up with or cool costumes, but he doubted it. He learned it was like a whole other world out here, how could he have just not known about it and why didnt his mother tell him sooner? whatever, he couldn't dwell on that right now. ``halloween here would be so fun.`` he sighed wistfully, he wasn't great at costume making but he loved candy with a passion. He had a stockpile of it back home.

"halloween here would be so fun." he said and she nodded. "It would...Imagine how spooky they could make it with all the magic stuff they can do." She laughed a little, imagining how scary it could be. "I imagine that they let us go home during Holidays...Like when we have half term during Halloween and Christmas and Easter and stuff." she nodded.

"Do you think they do fireworks night? Maybe not...The worst part about my birthday is that it's during school time, in November " she said laughing a little, "I doubt they'll do Chinese New Year in February but maybe we'll still be off school...I don't know," she said, more to herself than to Adonis, trying to figure out how it would all work out. She still wanted to see her relatives, but maybe she would just have to send them a letter.

"My birthday is November 12h by the way...When's yours?" she asked, wanting to know more about him rather than just rambling on all about herself. By now she had finished the second braid, but she didn't have any hair ties so she just left them like that to unravel later. She swept her bangs aside and sat up straight, focusing on nothing but Adonis as she looked into his eyes for the first time by herself. She was trying to get more comfortable and show that she was listening, and she thought that by making eye contact the message would be clear to him.

"Do you think they do fireworks night?" he sighed wistfully. ``i hope so, once again with the whole magic stuff, it would make it even cooler.`` he nodded while she talked, still listening to every word she said. He didn't know too much about The chinese new year but he was willing to learn about it. he was trying to calculate when her birthday was, till she revealed it herself.

"My birthday is November 12h by the way...When's yours?" He sighed, looking a bit flustered and agitated. He made a small frown for a few seconds, but wiped it away back to a neutral face so he wouldn't worry her.He really hated his birthday, and every year he dreaded when it came. ``oh its uh,February 14th.`` He was a bit startled when she made eye contact before him, but enjoyed it. it made him a little less embarrassed about his birthday. He moved his hands from his lap, to beside him on each side of the bench to distribute his weight equally. He had been hunched over or leaning to his left, which began to hurt his back so he sat straight up, anxiously tapping his foot and fiddling with his fingers.

Lillian frowned when he did and she worried when he looked agitated. She began to think she might have said something wrong. Then he told her it was February 14th and she began to realise why he might have been embarrassed. "Oh, that's nice...I'll have to remember that so I can get you something, eh?" she said, trying to lighten the mood with a bright smile. She unraveled the braids in her hair and flipped it a little to get it back to how it looked before. She watched him sit up straight and start to tap his foot, which Lillian noticed he did quite a bit.

She felt worried about upsetting Adonis so she tried to think of something to change the subject. "Okay, I have a question," she began, looking at him again, "What was your favourite Halloween costume you've ever done and what do you plan on dressing up as this year? If you want to dress up that is...If you don't then umm...Uh..Then why don't you want to dress up?"

She laughed a little, causing her bangs to fall in her face again. She swiftly swept them away like she did not long before and smiled.

He faked a little smile when she said she'd get him something, he'd rather not get anything at all but he wasn't going to turn one down. that would be rude. He tried to stop tapping his foot, because he assumed it was annoying, and did not want to bother her. Adonis was very thankful she changed the subject, he didn't want to make her worried but he couldn't help but be upset when talking about his birthday.


"What was your favourite Halloween costume you've ever done and what do you plan on dressing up as this year? If you want to dress up that is...If you don't then umm...Uh..Then why don't you want to dress up?" He laughed. he clicked his tongue before answering and smiled.
``my best costume? well when i was 7 i dressed up like the headless horseman, my neighbors thought it was clever so i got extra candy- but the next year i got lazy and just hollowed out a pumpkin, carved eyes in it, than put it over my head. i smelled like pumpkin for days.`` Followed by a loud singular laugh. he leaned forward a bit again, forgetting that hunching over had hurt his back in the past.`` i don't know what i'll dress up for this year. what about you?`` he looked back over at her. his expressions and mannerisms can change so fast, its almost scary.
