A Magical Start.

"Are you looking forward to the food they'll give us?" adonis was not going to admit it, but that what hes looking forward to the most. ``its a magical school, so its bound to be the best of the best i think.`` he wandered if he'd be able to bake at all while he was there, he hoped so but he doubted it. its a school after all not a getaway. he almost forgot that. And they probably don't bake much in mgic school, just wave there wands and abracadabra, bread. he wasn't sure he liked the idea of doing that and not baking. that takes most of the fun out of it. Adonis cant even imagine not doing the hard work of baking, it makes you appreciate the outcome more, or seeing someone enjoy something you made.

``im really really excited for the food.`` he couldn't even imagine what KIND of food they would actually serve. ``is there such thing as magical food? `` he got a bit lost in thought again. Food is one of his favorite thing along with tons of others. ``they probably don't even cook, just abracadabra it up.``

"they probably don't even cook, just abracadabra it up." Lillian laughed a little at this. The imagery of a bunch of cooks in one room saying abracadabra over and over to make enough food to serve a whole school is quite a funny thing to imagine.

"Well, I hope the food changes often and isn't just like the same thing every day, that would be boring...And I hope it's not just English food...I like Scottish food, especially Haggis. And of course Chinese food...But I doubt they'd have it. Hey, maybe they'll let you in the kitchens to bake when they get too lazy to do it themselves," she laughed quite hard, so hard that her head fell forward and her wavy hair covered her face and she had to tuck it behind her ears again.

She looked at him with a smile, "I'm sorry, that joke wasn't even that funny. think im just getting more and more exited." Her bangs were slightly parted in the middle and she managed to sort of sweep them to the side, showing off her face completely. Her pale, clear skin seemed to glow in the natural light coming from the window as she leaned forward and looked out at the beautiful landscape.

He laughed with her at her joke, a bit stunned but happy at how hard she laughed."I'm sorry, that joke wasn't even that funny. think i'm just getting more and more exited." he was till softly laughing a bit.``it was pretty funny though, i'm really exited too. and nervous. super nervous.`` he giggled nervously, the thought of them not being able to talk as much squeezed its way into his already busy mind. He had only known lillian for this train ride but it felt like they had been friends forever. he wish he could of met her sooner, they would have been such good friends back home too.

He admired the way she glowed as she looked out onto the landscape, staring almost without realizing. he for some reason couldn't look away for quite a bit. She was so put together and different from him, it almost startled him in a way. But in a good way. He realized he had been staring for quite a while and looked away, blushing. He didn't want to seem creepy so he looked out the window too. soon they would be arriving at hogwarts, and adonis wasn't sure he was ready at all.

Lillian could almost feel his eyes on her as she looked out at the changing landscape, but for some reason she didn't seem to mind despite the fact it made her blush slightly. Then, once she knew he had looked away, she looked at him again. "Are you nervous?" she asked, but she already knew the answer.

She was terrified of the train ride ending. Although it must have been hours by now, she felt like barely any time had passed at all. It was different with Adonis...Even though she was nervous, she wasn't afraid. He made her feel safe, even if it only lasted on the train and not forever. Of course she never wanted to stop talking to him or anything, but even if that ended up happening she was still glad that they were able to spend so much time together on the train and that she had that moment with someone. She would rather have this and no friends afterwards if it meant that she could remember this forever.

She began to think about all the things her and Adonis could do together. Maybe they could have picnics by the lake, or sneak into the forbidden forest, or go to Hogsmeade together when they were old enough. She spaced out for a moment before remembering that she asked him a question and coming back down to Earth.

He was looking out the window admiring the landscape as she had moments before, when he heard lillian ask him,"Are you nervous?" He chuckled lightly, but hadn't looked over at her. he was till stuck looking at how beautiful it was, and he was still embarrassed at staring at her for so long.

``Is it that obvious?`` he joked, only laughing a bit. ``i guess i'm just a bit nervous about the hat sorting still, and how well i'll do.`` He wasn't going to mention the house sorting but it sort of slipped out. his mind was going a bit slower than usual, which he cant tell if thats a bad thing or a good thing. Having a friend calmed him down a bit, being able to share his energy and happiness with someone else excited them. he wouldn't have to be alone this entire school year either, which is a huge plus.

``i'm just going to ask the hat politely if i can be in the same house as you.`` he laughed, sounding like he was joking, but he was probably serious. it cant be that hard since its a hat.

She smiled "I hope that plan works...But hey, I wouldn't worry too much. I mean, it's a boarding school in the middle of nowhere, we won't be too far apart.'' she smiled wider, trying to reassure him and even her self at the same time. Then she patted his back softly.

"Also, no matter what house we're in wether it's the same or different, it will be a lot of fun. I mean, it's magic, the houses are just a small part of it...I'm sure there are loads and loads of cool places for us to hang out together. There's a lake and a library and a great big hall. Not to mention all the cool towers. There'll be cool new animals that you've never even heard of before, and there will be new people and experiences." She said in a soft voice, trying to make him feel more excited than nervous, "There's so much to look forward to, and it'll be even better that we get to do all of it together." she smiled, this time showing off her teeth again as her eyes crinkled. It was a big smile, and it was a genuine smile from her heart.

``you're right, i shouldn't worry as much. the more i worry, the less fun i'll have.`` he laughed and smiled, turning towards her and once again looking into her eyes.He saw how genuine her smile was and it warmed his heart. ``this is gonna be so much fun now that we can do all this stuff together!`` adonis exclaimed , now most of his worries hidden in the back of his mind.``that's actually a bit cheesy.`` he rubbed the back of his head, laughing and blushing a bit, embarrassed.
he looked back out the window than back at lillian, talking quickly and impatiently ``we really cant be far now, i wonder what other places there are we can explore. and i'm so excited for all the new magical creatures. and food- thanks. you really made me 'lot less nervous!`` he smiled. `` ooh i hope we have lots of classes together too.`` he did know that hogwarts was a castle, AND it was magic. that's like, double to explore. libraries, magic rooms, secrets, creatures, Now he just couldn't stop thinking of it all. he started thinking of all the different possibilities now that he has someone else to do them with.

Lillian giggled at his excitement, once again she caught herself thinking he was cute, like an excited puppy, and se liked it. She hadn't been this happy in such a long time. She almost cried at the station, and now here she was, laughing and smiling next to a boy she had only met hours ago.

"I think my cheeks are going to hurt, I've never ever smiled this much. Thank you a lot..This is the most fun I have ever had in a while," she said with a happy sigh, looking around, her mind racing with all the possibilities in her future at Hogwarts and her future with Adonis. She hoped that they would be friends forever and ever, even after school. She looked at him, a thoughtful and somewhat look in her eyes.

"Adonis," she began, "Can I ask you something that might sound weird?" she said, still looking at him as if she was examining him. She was hesitant to ask this question, but she also desperately wanted to, just to see what he would say. Surely it wouldn't do any harm, she just thought it was a bit of an awkward question for her to ask so soon.

"I think my cheeks are going to hurt, I've never ever smiled this much. Thank you a lot..This is the most fun I have ever had in a while,"Adonis nodded, this is probably the most fin he's had ever. ``i'm glad.`` he himself was extremely happy, mostly for the fact he could share that happiness with someone else. ``and don't worry, your cheeks will get used to it`` he snickered.

"Can I ask you something that might sound weird?" That caught him off guard and he tilted his head to the side. ``Of course!`` his head raced. She could be really asking anything, but than he quickly calmed his self down, and replaced his nerves with a warm smile.``Weird is my middle name after all.`` he put his hand on his chest, as if he was being proud of himself and tried not to giggle. he turned his head again ready to listen, and trying to prevent himself from worrying. he never was a big worrier but how could he not be worried? he Wanted to be friends forever, was that too soon? he was a bit clingy at times after all.

She felt a little better when he joked about it and giggled when he called himself weird and acted proud, "Well, you know, weird doesn't always mean bad." she smiled a little and began to fiddle with her fingers. She tilted her head slightly forward, letting her bangs fall and cover her forehead once again.

"Well I...I hope this isn't too forward or anything, but uhm..well.." She began to feel a little flustered, "Do you think we could uhm...We could be friends forever? You know, like, even after we leave Hogwarts?" She began to feel like it was a dumb question and her face went completely red, "I'm sorry, that's a really silly question, I'm just worried. I've never had a friend like you, one that I could stay friends with forever...I just..It just sounds nice," she smiled shyly and looked away from him, not wanting him to see the blush that had swarmed her usually pale face.

It was true, Lillian had never had a friend that wasn't one of her relatives that she would know forever. To be honest she hadn't even really planned on making any friends at all, but life is full of surprises and she was happy that Adonis was one of them.
