Deymon is the eldest daughter of two muggles, born in the English city of Liverpool. Her mother was Lisa Quera-Floweria, and her father was John Floweria.
There is no accessible information that states that the Floweria family, or at least the recent generations, has any witches or wizards, but Deymon is considered a muggle-born due to her parents and at least one of her grandparents not possessing or showing any signs of magical ability. Deymon also has a younger brother and younger sister who are three years and five years younger than her respectively.
Deymon’s magical ability comes from the Partherias, a pure-blood family from which the Floweria family was descended from. The Partherias were forced to marry muggles due to declining pure-blood populations, leading to a nearly fully muggle bloodline in the later generations, with it’s family members having little, if any, wizard in heritage at all.
Deymon displayed her first instance of accidental magic when she was around six or seven years old. She was playing in the yard when a dog jumped at her, and she accidentally set the family’s peach tree on fire in fear, despite it being four feet away. This was enough to catch the Quill and Book’s attention, both of which agreed that she had enough magical power to be admitted to Hogwarts.
