What type of animal does your character hope to become?
This was a lot of fun to decide! In the end I'm going to go with a black and white african bush viper. It looks so cute~ It has the most amazing eyes and the scales on it make it blend super well with leaves and the such. If Earl ever needs a break he can just slip into the forbidden forest and chill under a bush.
Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?
Earl would want to change into this because for muggle school he had to do a project on it, and has been obsessed with it ever since. Plus, he asked his mom to draw him a picture for his presentation, and she did. Which is one of the few times they did something together, so he still has fond memories of it.
What do you hope to get from this group?
I guess I just don't want Earl to be lonely? It would be like a study group!

(going to write this IC for the sake of hilarity. Also, Lucia can't technically become an animagus. She's joining because Scarlett Aden made her, and because Scarlett litterally watched her write the form so she couldn't pretend to have forgotten. She's gonna spend all the time in the club in constant termoil and anxiety

A butterfly? That'd be cool... Basically anything pretty which has wings. Lucia hasn't put much thought into this, obviously haha, but if she could be an animagus I'd say that she should be a butterfly or some kind of bird. Probably a butterfly.
Why that animal/why do you want to become an animagus?
I mean I don't much but because butterflies are cool? I dunno It'd be fun flying. Like, properly flying. With wings. Woah yeah, you can tell just how much she wants to be here xD I'm sorry lol
What do you hope to get from this club?
not sure really Connections to other anamigi. Basically, more friends? angst, possible drama and character development. yay

Writing this for the humor ooc and sentimental reasons ic since technically Henry can't become a animagus. Henry thought he wrote the form out in private as a way to cope with some stuff but @Gia Adelard saw him and would turn the form in as well as friendly making him join.... so now Henry will be completely out of it and depressed and probably have a panic attack the first meeting since this being a animagus is his dream... a dream that can never come true.... He's the Remus Lupin of the group 
What type of animal does your character hope to become?
A Red Fox, I always loved the species and it would cool to be able to be a dog or walk around the grounds on foot feet instead of two Red foxes are small enough that they could move around without being seen but also is such a intelligent species, I always loved the thought of becoming one... well ever since my mum mentioned that you could transform into a animal when I was younger.
Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?
I want to be a animagus because.... uh the chance to wall in another Shoes or feet is cool. Plus I always have been amazed with the science behind animangis even before Hogwarts. I use to read so many books on them, just to learn every possible thing that I could because animangis has been the one thing that has always memorized me. I choose a fox because it's a creature that is small but not to small, just small enough that they can keep to themselves and stay in the background which is like me I guess. Foxes are also intelligent, cunning, and crafty little creatures that get out of traps or solve puzzles and I feel a connection with them on that and I had a toy one as a child which I don't know it felt right or like home so...
Henry thought about this a lot because it's his dream and especially now he's going to be thinking about it with some other stuff going on with him.... character development, angst, and anxiety are also reasons...
What do you hope to get from this group?
Connections to others who either are animangis or want to be. The chance to the others become animangis, I can help research and give mortal support also find ingredients for others. The chance to make friends as else minus the friends in the club who turned this form in without me knowing....
Character development, remembering past memories, some crying, a panic attack or two... possibly angst toward self....

Something cool like phanter, fox, cheetah all that kind.
OOC note : If Aurora manages to do it, I think she would become a cuscus, which is a type of marsupial, more specifically Phalanger alexandrae.
Why that animal/why do you want to become an animagus?
Because they are cute, and cool. They look intimidating, but can still be domesticated by some people.
The reasons why she might become a cuscus are :
1. They are small (Aurora is a petite and short kid)
2. Nocturnal (Aurora is more active at night because it's quieter and tons of weird ideas often come at night)
3. They are solitary animals, shy, stay hidden most of the time (Very Aurora)
4. Become aggressive when being taunted.
The reason why I think Phalanger alexandrae might be the perfect kind of cuscus for her is because they typically found in Asia and oceania (Most of them in Indonesia, and she has 1/4 or less Indonesian heritage in her blood). And, mainly because its scientific name has 'alexandrae' and her father name was Alexander. HAHA
What do you hope to get from this club?
I want to get more knowledge about the wizarding world from different perspectives from people from different backgrounds than me.. Probably have some discussions and perhaps friendships. Some character development might be great. She can be reckless at times, maybe by knowing magic can be incredibly dangerous might make her think twice on how she acts

Welcome Lucia, Henry, and Aurora! Just a heads up, the application is OOC only (IC Peri would have different questions), so while it's totally okay to fill them out from both perspectives for fun, the information isn't accessible to anyone IC.
I should also note that while one person who can't become an animagus was allowed to join, this isn't something I want to encourage. It's still okay for these types to join, but as we have multiple tagalongs now, I'm going to put a limit on certain event threads. Potential animagi will have priority, so if X amount doesn't join by a deadline, then our unfortunates can hop in.

I didn't want to put a hard limitation on who can join. Our first Metamorph, for example, wouldn't know that they can't become animagi, so in-character he wouldn't have known better when joining the club. I don't want to deny people agency. On the other hand, this is going to be extremely upsetting in-character, especially if he's working diligently with the club for the next four years only to discover he won't realize this dream. By extension, Pericles is going to suffer vicarious guilt for not knowing in the first place. If he has a whole slew of disappointed people, and is feeling responsible for several failed transitions, it's going to be a bit miserable. Again, I don't want to deny anyone agency, and this could be a sad but super interesting development for all involved. On the other hand, I'm personally not someone who looks for a lot of drama and devastation in RP 
I'm all old and tired, so I try to allow it in small doses. There are also going to be certain scenes I'd love to play out in the future, like group trips over the holidays. My character will be paying for these himself, putting his time, energy, and resources into helping aspirants advance. The more unsuccessful endings = the more waste = the more IC stress = the less fun I have OOC.
Scene slots feel like a good halfway point between allowing people to play their characters and preserving the point of the club. For example, if we're going on a trip and I say "8 slots by two weeks from now", if we have 6 future animagi join, then 2 anti-animagi can join, followed by however many late animagi. Slots will never be limited to future animagi, but I don't want to leave things completely open and wind up taking many non-animagi on trips, since that would defeat the ultimate goal of the club! This way we can still have our fun and be inclusive without giving the exact same benefits to those who can't fully utilize the League's design.
