A Magical Start.

"Good bye honey! remember to write us, and just walk through THAT wall!"

my mother yelled at me, loud enough for me to hear but not loud enough for everyone else to. she pointed at a wall a bit behind me
my dad sort of waved from the passenger side, it looks like he was crying.never seen him do THAT before. i cant tell if its from happiness, or sadness. Hopefully both! I'm dreadfully nervous.

Oh god.

Did my parents really just drop me off at this wall and say to..run into it??
gosh, maybe this is all just a big joke. It would be pretty funny. Maybe if I do it, we could all just have a big laugh after. Haha, see I'm laughing already!
ok, no ones looking lets just-
``one....two...THRE-``

oh my god..i -i made it! I'm through the wall!
i break into a fit of laughter, a suit case in my arms.
I probably look insane!
still, I have a bit of time to spare- and there's quite a lot of people... does that mean everyone here is going to Pigwars..what was it called? oh yeah, Hogwarts. really need to not mess that up.. that could be embarrassing.

minutes after, there was a large train before me. People were hugging their parents, saying their goodbyes- gosh I feel alone. I really wish my parents would of walked out with me- but hey, at least I can make more friends? yeah! this is a great opportunity to make some friends. He Boarded the Hogwarts express, tripping over himself.

@Adonis Campbelle

Lillian hugged her mother tightly. She had wished so desperately for her younger siblings to come, as well as her stepfather, but sadly they had no idea about her magic. She almost cried in the car after saying her goodbyes to them, but she managed to keep herself composed. After saying goodbye to her mother, she ran through the wall and into the magical platform.

After taking in everything around her, the smell, the sights, even the feel of her trunk in her back, she felt very overwhelmed. Tears began to well in her eyes, her breath hitching as she realised it would be so long until she would sleep in her bed again. Lillian had always wanted to go to boarding school - in fact her favourite movie was about a group of friends at a boarding school - but now all she wanted was to go home.

Blinking away the tears and regaining her stoic and mysterious composure, she decided that she better get a move on and find a place on the large train before there was none left. When she entered, it was very busy and she had to wait before being able to move any further. This was when she heard someone enter behind her, seeming to trip over themselves and into the train. After turning her head out of curiosity, she saw a boy with vibrant ginger hair standing behind her

After entering the train(and nearly falling flat on his face) the ginger brushed himself off and reorganized. He let out a sigh and gave himself a pat on the back. He even took the time to try to fix his messy, curly hair.
Adonis saw the girl in front of him turn her head, and he gave them a warm smile and a wave. She looked...friendly. Adonis's thoughts started racing. He really didn't have any friends, but it would be good to make one now , since everything's all new and strange.

..right? yeah, nothing can go wrong here. Noothhingg attt alll.
well...A few things COULD go wrong.she could just, not like me. Not to mention she looks a bit... What's the right word for it? unapproachable. Stop overreacting , She's probably super nice! I've never gotten this nervous talking to people.

Adonis freed a hand from holding his mass amount of luggage, and tapped the girls shoulder. He stuck his free hand out, trying to give her the warmest welcome he can.
``Ello! my names Adonis.``
He was very straight forward, and stumbled over his own name but never stopped smiling. He readjusted his stance a bit, almost letting one of his bags to fall over, but he caught it.

"what's your name?

She turned to face him. Clutching her reading book to her chest with one hand and her trunk in the other, she thought that he seemed kind, like he was just trying to be friendly, and this made Lillian panic. It was not often that people made the first move when talking to her - although to be fair she didn’t either - but this boy, who revealed himself to be called Adonis, had such a warm and friendly smile that it was hard for her to resist.

She also noticed that he must have been Scottish. Lillian was Scottish too, and hearing his accent made her feel somewhat close to home, even though the way that she looked him up and down might have made him think otherwise. “Hello,” she began, shaking his hand back, “My name is Lillian. It’s nice to meet you.” Her voice was low and quite posh despite her thick accent. “I think there is a hold up down the corridor, we may have to wait a while,” she told him, explaining why she was still standing there.

“Are you okay, did you hurt yourself falling?” She asked. She was actually concerned but the blankness of her voice made it seem as though she didn’t have a care in the world.

``oh uhm..no no I'm fine! it happens quite a lot actually!`` he smiles and chuckles a bit, although he cant read her tone and decide if she means it. No matter!
he started to seem visibly more comfortable, leaning on his own bag a bit. Probably not the best idea considering how accident prone he is.
``Its a pleasure to meet you too Lillian! ``

Adonis attempts to look past her a bit, he didn't really understand when she said it was backed up. ``I doubt we'll have to wait that long, I'm tired of standing and walking. All of this is so strange to me..`` he goes to sit on his bag, and it wheels and inch bag almost making him fall. Adonis quickly fixes it and goes back to leaning on it. a piece of clothes stuck out from the bag. ``Get back in there ya bugger..`` he mumbled as he shoved the clothes back in with his foot.

``sorry 'bout that! I wish I prepared for all this a bit more, and stayed a bit more organized.`` he realized he was talking a lot, and suddenly stopped talking and laughing. In the past, he has been scolded for going on and on.

Lillian giggled slightly. She didn’t exactly know what caused it, wether it was the joke he made at the beginning about falling over, him almost falling again, him getting frustrated with his clothes or all of the above. She had also considered that his friendly attitude is what made her giggle like a child. Well, no matter what caused it, Lillian hadn’t giggled like that in a while and she was slightly embarrassed that she had, not wanting to sound immature.

“ sorry 'bout that! I wish I prepared for all this a bit more, and stayed a bit more organized.” Adonis said, and she shrugged it off. Lillian herself usually adored being organised. Her bedroom back home was a little messy, but still as organised as it could be. Even her trunk was organised with neatly folded clothes and different things sorted into different areas, almost as if there were little compartments in her trunk.

She shook her head, “don’t worry about it, I understand if you’re not organised. No need to apologise.” She tried to smile, but it felt a little off and didn’t seem genuine so she went back to the blank expression that she had before.

He messed with his own hair. `Thanks. You're real nice, I was all worried about talkin' to you and stuff. Don't know why.`` Adonis tried to keep his cool and match her energy, but he was all giddy like a small child. Talking to new people always gave him a happy burst of energy after. Kind of like a puppy, funny enough. He took a second to inspect what she looked like, and looked her up and down(a bit rude of him.) he hadn't really took a minute to look at her, since his brain moves a mile a minute.

This may be a bit forward, and i know we just met, but wanna be friends? `` He smiled once again, but this time it seemed less warm and more nervous. His thoughts started racing again.

That was too forward, you're gonna freak her out! she's so calm and collected and your just-
he started tapping his foot .
``I mean, if you wanna be friends, if not that's okay- I totally understand since its been like...7 minutes since we started talking!`` he laughed a little, that warmness starting to come back, but it was still smothered by the fear.

When Adonis claimed that he felt slightly worried about talking to her, Lillian felt a little bad. She knew she wasn’t the most approachable person but she did wish she had done more to seem kinder.

Lillian could feel her cheeks flush a little when he looked her up and down, her porcelain skin turning a deep red rather than pinkish - her skin had the tendency to do that, looking like she had just been slapped. She felt more relieved when he asked “ This may be a bit forward, and i know we just met, but wanna be friends?”. Immediately she wanted to say yes, but her habit of thinking too much took over and she hesitated for a moment. Adonis started tapping his foot and nervously said “ I mean, if you wanna be friend, if not that's okay- I totally understand since its been like...7 minutes since we started talking!”, a small and nervous laugh to go along with the nerves that were already obvious.

“No, no! I-I want to be friends, really I do. I’m sorry if I’m hard to talk to...I don’t mean to be...” she said quietly, worried that she had scared him away.

``Oh great! and you don't need to be sorry! i tend to overthink things sometimes, I mean. don't we all?`` He give a giant smile, and messed with his hair again.
The line started moving very slowly, and he tried to gather all of his stuff.
and in that moment, his bag fell and he tripped on it. He fell onto his behind like something out of a cartoon. A bonk sound effect would fit quite well. he landed on the bag and just gave a sigh, chuckling a bit. The line stopped again, and he just sat there on his bag.

``this is a bit pathetic.`` He stood up and brushed himself off, grabbing his now smooshed bag.
``and quite embarrassing. `` he seemed slightly aggravated or annoyed, but covered it with a small smile.
He looked around the room curiously, examining all the people and the different things around him.

``there are lot more people that I initially thought.`` he seemed unbothered by this, and continued looking around like a curious animal.``i wonder what's holding the line up. its going so slow.`` Once again, he realized he talked to much he visibly bit his fist.

“Oh-Oh no, are you alright?” She asked after he had fallen and gotten back up. He claimed it was pathetic and embarrassing In quite an aggravated voice and she shook her head quite frantically, “no no, it happens to the best of us, it’s not pathetic.” She tried to sound kind and like she cared, because she did, but her face struggled to show it.

“ there are lot more people that I initially thought.” he said, although he didn’t seem bothered. She nodded in agreement. He continued, saying that he wondered what was holding up the line before biting his fist. This made her smile a little, she had never see anyone do that before.

“I think there was a muddle up with Dom luggage or something, I hope it’s sorted out soon. My back is beginning to hurt, I was kind of hoping I could just board the train and sit and read my book,” she smiled a little, holding her reading book tighter to her chest, “but I suppose now we’re being held up and, more importantly, now we’re friends I won’t have to spend the journey reading.” She looked at the boy, smiling wider than before. She hadn’t smiled this much in a while.

“By the way, are from Scotland? I’m just judging by your accent...I’m from Scotland too.”
