The classes that day felt normal if not a tad dull to the thirteen year old. Henry found it easier to avoid others now by heading toward the slytherin common rooms when classes were finished giving him enough time to change out of his uniform and into a sweatshirt that use to to belong to his older brother and a pair of jeans.
The time to take him to change would be enough time for crowded corridors to become empty. The teen would walk through the corridors with his orange feline; Loki on the way to the library.
When Henry would step foot instead the place, he would breath a sign of relief and immediately go down a specific row of books and grab around four books before finding a empty table in the back and setting them down as he begun his reading.
The teen left his bag in his dormitory but did have a notebook which was a Christmas gift from his best friend and a pen in which he would occasionally wirte in as he read through the small stack of books.
Even though Henry spent majority of his time in the library, it felt odd to be alone since most days he was either with his best friend; Logan Baird or with Aldor Humbleglow.
Aldor was a first year hufflepuff whom grown rather close to Henry especially since both seem to be in the library at the same time as the other most days. For a while, it felt nice to Henry to read or study with the other especially since they both had a passion for dragons and other magical creatures.
Loki also had taken a liking to Aldor as well which meeting Aldor in the library the past months has been good at least to Henry. However after the Christmas holiday when the teen found out about his father's engagement to Rose's mother, he has been actually avoiding the hufflepuff boy who he considered a friend.
The reasons were mixed but the main reason was Henry picked up on things that others missed and one was that Aldor spent a considerably large amount of time with the red head.
Henry figured that the two were best friends or something... and also because of his anxiety it led Henry to believe that after the Christmas holiday when they were alone Rose had to tell Aldor about their parents. The first thing that Henry did was tell Logan about it so he expected Rose to tell someone as well at the very least....
Another part of his anxiety forced Henry's thoughts to wander and create situations that what if Rose was talking about him behind his back with Aldor? What if she was telling his secrets to the hufflepuff or insulting him to Aldor? Even through he consider Rose a close friend that didn't mean his anxiety sometimes didn't control him and thoughts about friends was definitely something that made his anxiety increase.
So with his thoughts imagining worst Henry started to avoid Aldor. Especially after April 14th where he wasn't sure who or who wasn't at the great hall when he received the howler.
Spending time alone never was something that bother Henry but a part of him now felt different when he was alone. Anyway the teen pushed the thoughts aside and continued his book, yet unknown to the second year that his feline; Loki would run from his side and to Aldor Humbleglow to greet him.

Aldor Humbleglow stood in silence, extending his hand to Loki, as he looked back at Henry.
Aldor was a little bothered by the fact that somehow, the cat looked for him, unlike his owner, usually he never felt mad or bothered by something like this, but this time he was a bit anoyed. He quietly aproached Henry and grabbed a chair sitting by him, putting his left leg over the right one, playing with his hair as he stared at his friend.
He could only think about why he was acting weird, in reality, he did not have much knowledge as to why Henry was feeling anxious, Rose never went into much detail when talking about her problems, so in reality, he had no clue about Rose having any sort of relation with Henry, he knew they were friends, but didn't even imagine the fact that their families were somehow about to get linked.

Aldor raised one of his eyebrows, you could see in his face that he was bothered by something, to Aldor, one thing was very clear, he wasn't happy about Henry avoiding him, at all. It was true that he spent most of his time with Rose nowdays, but he didn't want to push Henry a side either, maybe Henry wasn't as close to him as Rose, but there were many reasons why that worked in such way.
That didn't mean Aldor cared less about Henry, but the fact that he decided to push him away, made him feel as if there was a tension between them, something that made him feel that he didn't want to trust him as much.
''Can I ask what's going on?-''
Henry wasn't a bad person, at least that was what Aldor wanted to believe, he could understand why Aldor acted the way he did, right?

Loki would rubbed against Aldor's legs a few times before leaping up on top of the table and sitting in between the two boy's. Giving a slight meow almost asking for the hufflepuff to pet him.
Henry however remained reading, flipping the page of the book that sat in front of him as he replied" hey," his voice sounded friendly with the heavy British accent but he left his eyes on the pages of his book.
Filping to the next page as he scribble down another note into his journal, if one would try to read the handwriting then they would see the journal is filled with cramped, minuscule words on both pages of the journal.
Aldor spoke again and seemed to want answers.
Answers on why Henry probably was avoiding him? To the thirteen year old it was simple he was the best friend of Rose Moon or at least appeared to be the best friend of the girl. His anxiety was producing images in his mind that Rose was talking behind his back with the boy, telling him about their parents engagement and that Henry was a werewolf. One was more of a treasured secret than the other but still....
Henry flipped the page in his book as he replied" With what?" Henry wasn't a idiot because he knew why the hufflepuff was there but at the same time this talking in the library felt new since usually when he did meet Aldor in the library before they mainly read and only spoke occasionally...
Anyway Henry continued to read the book in his hand and scribble down notes in his journal determined to find the end or answer to where his twin sister was and how she exactly ended up with the Knights.

Aldor would reach for Loki, softly petting the feline as he looked down at Henry's hands, not really to see what he was writing, but because in the end, the boy wasn't trying to make an effort on making eye contact either.
''Is it because I couldn't be with you that day?- I'm sorry that I couldn't go and at least say hi to you but- I had a few problems to get there. I didn't forget, Henry.''
Aldor started to believe that not being present on his Birthday was the reason to why Henry was avoiding him, he didn't really know what to say, but truly, there weren't that many things he could do at this point, confusion was the one thing stuck in his mind, having no clue about what to say to his friend, after all, they were fine a few months ago, but out of the nowhere, Henry had just distanced himself, driving Aldor to the conclusion that it was his fault.
''I couldn't give you my gift that day but- I do have it with me, I thought you would be here today and decided to bring it-''
The true reason as to why Aldor wasn't there for his friend's birthday was simple, he was writing letters for his family, other people would have probably taken their time to go to the birthday first, but for Aldor, speaking to his family was a big deal, after all, he has not seen them for many years, and was axious about the fact that his brother just sent him an owl the day he was supposed to go with Henry.
It wasn't because he didn't want to be with Henry, but knowing his siblings were ok was priceless to Aldor, so he wrote many letters, one for his older brother, one for his sister, another for his dad. And lastly, one for his baby sister, this last one was the most time consuming, he would keep this letter, until his little sister was able to read it on her own, it was filled with good wishes and apologies for not being able to meet her in person. He spent the whole day writing this, and when he realised the time, it was too late, he went to the place, but nobody was left, and so, Aldor walked away dissapointed, knowing it was his fault.
But today, he took something out of one of his robes' pockets, it was a book, judging by the way it was wraped. He placed it on the table, slowly pushing it towards Henry, smilling nervously.
''I don't expect that this solves my mistake- But at least, please accept this as an apology.''

Loki seemed pleased with being petted by Aldor but if the hufflepuff would stop then the orange feline would lightly nip at high fingers until he begun petting him again.
Henry however would finish with a book closing it and laying it in a new pile on the table with the title facing up to show any curious person that the book was on; Legilimency.
The thirteen year old would pull the second book toward him and open it as he replied" I haven't been avoiding you, just been busy," the second year let his eyes gaze over the words in his books because technically he wasn't lying. The teen has missed a few classes and spent way too much time in the library since the night of his birthday... since finding out his twin sister was missing and with the Knights, so he has been focusing majority his time on searching for information.
When Aldor spoke again, it took a few moments for Henry to actually know what he was talking about. Pausing for a moment in his book before continuing reading and he figured he was probably talking about missing his birthday, which Henry didn't care. Before Hogwarts the teen never had parties or friends to celebrate with so one friend not going didn bother him and in fact that day was the last thing he wanted to think about because it now reminded him of when he found out his twin sister was gone. Disappeared. No longer around to talk to.
"I don't care if you missed it, Aldor for your problems or stuff. And frankly I'll prefer if you didn't mention it," Henry replied as he flipped the page and added another note to his journal. A part of him felt empty and sickening at the thought of that day, while another part of him felt alone and useless since he couldn't... can't do anything about his twin sister.
Aldor's voice filled the air again as Loki now took to watching him and Henry continued his reading. Writing down another note before flipping the pages of the book a few times and stopping. The teen was looking for something.... something specific... what etaxcty? That us the question....
However when he would hear Aldor mention a gift, Henry would scrunch his nose up a bit. The teen never liked the idea of others getting things for him or spending their own money on him, it just made him feel greedy or awful when they did so for the first time Henry spoke softly and in the friendly tone that he use to do with Aldor, " you didn't have to get me anything Al, I promise I don't care that you missed the day," referring to the boy as 'Al' a nickname that he gave him when they first met.
Loki would step out of the way still looking toward Aldor and meowing lightly to be petted still as Henry eyed the small present and decided to set his current book down to pick it up and slowly unwrap it.

Aldor would keep his hand on Loki, raising an eyebrow as he listened to Henry, the Hufflepuff bit his lower lip trying to understand what was going on with his friend, he wanted to help, but was unaware about what it could be that Henry was struggling with, maybe he was studying for a very hard exam? It couldn't be that, Henry was smarter than most people Aldor knew.
He could feel it in the air, something was right about this whole sittuation, the puzzles pieces just didn't add up, and so, he turned his eyes to the books he was reading, suddenly, an awkward silence filled the space, as Aldor's eyes widened, staring at the book's tittle instantly realising what this book was about.
Even though, Aldor was a young and didn't seem like the kind of person that researches about anything, he is too curious, and so, seeing that the book that his friend was about examinating the many layers of the mind, kind of scared him, he never investigated much about this, but he knew this was a topic that Hogwarts did not teach. Henry unwrapped the small present to find a book. Expected but also delightful. Books are the one thing that always brought the tern teen comfort and he was always excited to receive a new one so Henry place it on his side and spoke" thanks for the book," before turning back to the second book he was reading as he would occasionally scribble down a note.
Loki no longer craved attention from the hufflepuff but still enjoyed it as he sat in between the two boys on the table, eyes drifting between Aldor and Henry.
Henry heard his friend's question but continue to read since within his mind he could feel his anxiety increase and pressure start to bubble within him as he spoke" for something. Uh a project," the words rolled off his tongue without even need to think because when strangers would now ask him that question, that was always his answer.
The teen would set the second book on top of the first revealing that one to be a book on; wizarding genetics. However if someone would look then they could see the third one he was opening was on the second wizarding war as Henry begun to read and take notes occasionally in his journal.
"don't you already know? Either from some gossip in the corridors or by Rose," Henry snapped without thinking. Usually he would be alone or with Logan in the library so others asking questions especially about his research sometimes made him feel agitated.
But luckily Henry heard how mean that sounded and would finally look up, meeting Aldor's eye contact with his blue tired ones as he spoke" I'm sorry, I know that sounded mean and it was uncalled for," Henry spoke with a softer tone then most but not purposely with it as he continued" I just have been busy the past few days and I promise despite from what it seems, I'm not trying to learn any of this."

''I am not sure what Rose has to with all of this and- I know that I probably can't help to your ''project'', but you can trust me, right? I can help to at least compile information for you whenever you need, I can't- expect you to accept my offer but, I still plan on helping you, even if that means I have to get in your way-''
Aldor's tone remained firm, as gentle and calm as always, he never spoke with Henry about his life, which would probably drive the Slytherin to the conclusion that Aldor was the type of kid who had it all, but somehow, the fact that Rose, Henry and Aldor himself had troubled lives, was the thing that would hopefully pull them closer together.
After thinking so much, he realised what he just said at the same time as he looked down at the books that Henry was using, slowly putting his hand over his mouth.

The boy that stood in front of Henry wasn't the one he first met months ago. Aldor seemed different, changed almost. Not as frighten anymore nor nervous but still a bit... there was a air of confidence around the boy and it appeared that in less than a year he gotten braver.
Even through they barley talked when they met, Henry was still rather glad to see the hufflepuff much braver and with confidence than when they first met. This change almost suited Aldor or brought out a new side of him, one that wasn't there when they first met nor how he noticed during their rather silent library meetings before.
The teen would offer the boy a smile and was about to speak before Aldor blurted out a apology about looking at his books. So he was a bit nervous after all but overall definitely grown in confidence and maturely.
"no it's fine, really," Henry spoke setting the book aside and looking back at Aldor as he continued" plus if your going to help me, you need to know what etaxcty your helping me with," a smile grew on his lips and the teen stood leaning close into Aldor as he whispered" I'm looking for information on my mum's family; The Knights. My twin sent me a letter the night of her disappearance that she was with them so I'm looking into anything that could explain who they are and where she is."
A nod toward Aldor before he would sit down again, setting the stack of books in the middle of the table as he did so. Loki would rub against the hufflepuff's hand one time before circling and laying down on the wooden surface however Henry would let his smile fade away a bit as he spoke lightly, " since you and Rose are best friends. And because of that thing our families are in, that isn't going to change anything between us right?"

Aldor would be a bit shocked at first, but then a confident smile formed on his face, as he somehow started elaborating a plan on the go.
''Nothing will change Henry, I love both of you, and if helping you with this means that you will be ok then- let's do it.''
Aldor looked around for a few seconds, staring at the shelfs for a second, almost as if he was trying to recall every topic that was contained within them, then nodded as he turned back to Henry, standing up and placing his hands on the table.
''I see where you are going with this- if I can help I need essentially 4 things, any history about The Knights and what they are capable of, books about Legilimency, which you already found, anything about the Incantation Avenseguim and lastly- Someone that can cast both of these, after all, as far as I understand, the less people that know, the better-''
Aldor paused for a moment, as he took a deep breath, trying to think the ways he can be of help.
