Group C: Gryffindor vs Slytherin
What a great way to ruin the mood. There Lamik was, thinking he could keep jumping out of the way in time and then give Raine a nice victory hug once they had waited their opponents out, when all of a sudden both things were taken away from him! A painful hit to the shoulder caused him to stumble back and fall down. Even worse though, by the time he got up Lamik had realized that Raine was out of the game! It was absolutely unacceptable, but such was life sometimes.

After everything that happened during the previous round, this one was definitely less eventful. Now in a 1 vs 1 duel, Lamik and Alexander were still trying to win the duel. Anything could happen: all it would take for one of them to win was one well placed spell, or a quick enough dodge.
Alexander tried his luck once again and cast his Flipendo. Even though he successfully did so, his spell completely missed Lamik, who quickly moved out of the way and was able not to get hit.
The Curse of the Bogies had just rendered Raine unconscious, but Alexander wasn’t looking any better; on the contrary, he looked as if he was about to faint at any moment. That curse was nasty, Lydia knew that from experience, and she couldn’t help but feel sorry for the Slytherin boy.
As the duel got closer to its end, the atmosphere in the room had gotten slightly more serious, as the tension grew more and more. The Hufflepuff girl had no favourite in the duel, and of course it would have been idea for both teams to win, but alas, this was a duel, and it required for someone to win and someone else to lose. Even if that was true, Lydia knew that no matter who won, they would have deserved that victory they had fought so hard for.

Luckily it seemed like his dodging streak was back. Lamik would definitely come out of this with some bruising, but he would still probably come out of it standing. In fact- Alexander was looking worse and worse, and the boy could bet that it was only a matter of time before he collapsed due to whatever uncomfortable effects the curse placed on him had. Oh well- maybe Lamik would visit him in the hospital wing later to apologize.

Alexander grit his teeth, though adrenaline was still going through him the effect was lessened by the pounding headache.Mentions: @Lamik Fillestar and @Raine Sage
Doing anything was getting harder, his vision blurred, his movement slowed, he had to breathe through his mouth as his nose was just filled with mucus. For a moment he had sympathy for the Gryffindor Girl who he had made suffer the same effect, but such emotions were quickly squashed. There was no time for such emotions, he merely had to push through. Even as his vision blurred and body weakened he could not give up.
There would be no mercy, there would be no surrender. Not now, not ever.

Evasive Maneuvers:
• When a spell was successfully cast at a player with Evasive Manoeuvres, a 1d10 roll is performed prior to Accuracy vs Evasion roll to determine whether the spell will be auto-dodged (roll 10). The Accuracy vs Evasion roll will not be needed in case of success.
• The auto-dodge chance can stack only to 20% from any number of sources and in this case 9 or 10 would be considered a success.

There was something in the way that Alexander moved that made Lydia more focused than before; his walking didn't look too stable, and he looked as if he was about to faint at any moment. On the other hand, Lamik didn't look too bad; sure, he had gotten hit by a couple of Flipendo, but all in all he didn't look like he was in a bad shape.GRYFFINDOR WINS
As her eyes scanned the platform, Lydia saw Alexander raising his wand and casting his spell, the blue charm flying in the air towards Lamik. However, the Gryffindor boy kept being extremely quick on his feet: without too much effort he easily managed to avoid the spell, choosing not to fire any spell back at his opponent. That would have been useless though, because right after he cast his Flipendo, it was as if Alexander's body had decided that he had had enough.
The Slytherin boy fainted, laying on the ground, and Lydia immediately jumped up on the platform. After making sure that Alexander was receiving the proper medical attention, she turned towards Lamik and then to those that were watching the duel. "Slytherin doesn't have any more duellists!" she announced and smiled, indicating then Lamik, "Lamik is the last duellists, so Gryffindor wins the match! Congratulations, you did really well!"
With that, she smiled again towards the spectators and Lamik, before stepping down from the platform. It had been a long, incredible duel, and both teams had shown what they were all capable of.
