For a moment, Adam really thought that his rallying speech had worked. And for a moment, maybe it did — but Ginger was set on defending herself, and she did just that. Adam couldn't really fault her for it, although he wished that they could all calm down and see that their argument was so silly. He sighed as the younger students started bickering again and sat back in his chair, reminding himself that he couldn't run a flower stand without any flowers. It was time to get casting.
And fast! Apparently, someone else had heard his call for requests: another Hufflepuff by the looks of it, a first-or-second-year girl with a big smile. Adam beamed right back at her as she approached his table, and his smile only got wider when she told him that she thought his idea was beautiful. She asked for a bouquet and he was more than happy to make one for her.
"Thanks! I'm glad you think so!" he replied, adjusting his grip on his wand. "I'll have something for you in just a second. Here goes — Orchideous!" A cluster of wildflowers sprung from the tip of Adam's wand and he caught them as they appeared, well-practiced in the motion by now. He held them out to his customer and laughed in surprise when she handed one of the flowers right back to him. "Aw, thanks! Again! I feel happy already!"
The sound of his name made Adam glance over at his schoolmates, still arguing. He caught sight of a paper bird sitting on the corner of his table and noted that everyone else had one too; they must have been distributed while he was talking to the Hufflepuff. He took his figure gently into his hands and slid it into his shirt pocket, making sure not to crumple it on the way. Maybe he wasn't getting the total peace that he'd hoped for, but it looked like spring spirit was catching on at least a little bit.
It was just about then that Cash took notice of the new arrival. Adam's face burned as they teased him, the word "crush" enough to turn him as red as a tomato. He was fifteen, after all. It was a natural reaction. Being at Hogwarts had helped him become less nervous over the years, but it hadn't done anything about the blush that always gave him away. Oh well — maybe no one had noticed. He met Cash's remark with nervous laughter and a response that was too mumbled to hear.
While Adam was trying to force his face back to a normal color, Henry gave him the last two names that he was missing. The Slytherin boy greeted the cheery Hufflepuff as Paige, and called the other one Arista as he thanked her for the paper birds. So she'd made them! Adam smiled at her and echoed Henry's thanks, because they really were very pretty. It seemed like they were all coming down from their anger into a more playful mood. Adam hoped he was right about that; he really didn't want to break up a fight today.
Hoping to lighten the mood even further, he glanced between the students clustered around his table with a grin. "Alright, you lot, no more fighting. Got it? It's much more fun when we're all getting along, or at least pretending to." They didn't have to like each other, although it would be nice if they did. They just had to be civil while they were here. "But if this turns into some kind of brawl, I'm on Ginger's side. No hard feelings — us Ravenclaws have to stick together." Adam laughed a little just to let everyone know that he was joking.
As he swished his wand through the movements and conjured a few more bouquets, Adam thought of another way to keep the group's mind off their argument and on more light-hearted things. "What are you all doing for Easter break? Does anyone have any exciting plans?" He still hadn't figured out his own plans, though his mother would probably want him to come home. Maybe listening to the others would help him think of something to do if he got stuck in Nottingham. Someone had to have something interesting in mind!

Interaction @Adam Harrington | Mention @Ginger Crowdy @Arista Elderman | @Paige Grant | @Henry Knight | @Cassandra Ironwoods
Aurora was silently listened to and watched each person's interaction with each other. Apparently, there was a bit of a clash situation between the three houses except Gryffindor. She was familiar with some of them, of course. Ginger Crowdy, also a first-year Ravenclaw, occasionally walked around the common room. Aurora was in the same compartment with Arista Elderman. And the three older students which she never knew before. What caught Aurora's attention at first was the flowers. She is a fan of flowers. It made her remember what her home used to be. Her mind was contemplating between walk there and get some flowers, have an excellent mood for the entire day, or just sit and observe people and make them think that she would curse them or something and have no friend until she graduates from Hogwarts. Her resting b face combined with her awkward and shy traits basically is a red flag in making friends as a first-year 101.
Then a Hufflepuff girl approached the Ravenclaw with the flowers. She recognized the Hufflepuff but did not know her name, and from what it looked like, it was fine. She got her flower bouquet, and she did not get into the quarrel that happened in the background. The arguments were quite mumble-jumbled, so Aurora cannot really grasp everything, just some words here and there. She noticed there were some adorable paper birds flying around. Being the artsy person she is, she wanted to ask whoever made that later to teach her, if she was not going to overthink it and not ask at all. Seeing the situation had been settled a bit, she asked Merlin for his blessing wherever he was at that time to not embarrass herself or insult other students with her unintentional snide remark or her stern and serious expression. So many people misunderstood her for being either annoyed or angry all the time. But that was just her face, she looked exactly the same even when she was ecstatic.
Aurora slowly walked to the Ravenclaw's flower stand
"H-hi.." Her eyes travelled around everywhere except the ravenclaw.
"Canigetaflowerorbuyaflower?" she said it really fast, barely audible. "please?" finally looked at the ravenclaw and smiled to show him that she was not mad or something, even just for two seconds.

It seemed that spring was truly infecting the school and though it was not the spring of home, the flowers that seemed to creep into every corner of the castle made Kazuo happy. It reminded him that spring break approached and that his mother had promised to take him home to see the cherry blossoms. Just a short vacation, up to their estate in Niigata Prefecture, but it was enough to lift his spirits. So it was that he came upon Adam’s table in a good mood, a genuine smile on his lips as he spotted the flowers. He paused his steps, taking in the sign and the other students gathered around, a silent observer to the chaos that had unfolded at the combination of unfortunate clumsiness and casual cruelty. His head tilted slightly to the side, the smile slipping a bit as the flower vendor, an older student by the look of him, did his best to soothe ruffled feathers.
“やれやれ. (Yare yare - good grief)” He muttered to himself. “めんどくさい. (mendokusai - troublesome/bothersome)”
Quiet as a cat, he moved toward the table, a shadow of a boy slipping around the others to present himself to Adam, giving the senior student a polite bow. “Ohayo, senpai. Pardon me for interrupting but that spell, are you able to choose the flowers you create? If so, may I ask you to make me a bouquet of sakura blossoms? If it isn’t too much trouble?” He gave Adam a polite smile. “If that isn’t possible, I will accept whatever you have available.”

Amethyst was wandering the halls. She was bored, and excited for the weekend to arrive. In her aimlessness, she'd probably walked past the stand ten times before she noticed it.
FLOWERS. FREE BOUQUETS. HAPPY EASTER!
a sign said. Intriguing, she thought. Free bouquets? Although she loved flowers, she wasn't an expert on them. She was about to walk away when she changed her mind. What did she have to lose? The person was using a spell, and she didn't have to pay, so there was no downside.
She walked up to the stand, observing the person behind it. He looked like he was maybe fifteen or sixteen, and he had short-ish brown hair.
She considered which type of flowers to get. She didn't know the names of most types, only her favourites. Probably. Which one was hyacinth? And what the heck did a peony even look like?
She shrugged, and decided to go for it. After all, no matter how ugly it was, there would be no drawbacks for either party.
"Hello! Can I have a bouquet with baby's breath (was that even a thing? She was sure she'd heard of it somewhere...), uh, peonies (might as well go for it, right?), tulips, and, erm, irises? Maybe like a, uh, pink theme?" God, this was excruciating to get out. So many filler words. Amethyst shuddered internally, but she smiled at the bouquet giver-away-er person and waited for his reply.

Noise. So much noise. The dhampir sat at the edge of the Slytherin Table and was trying to relax. Of course, this was the Great Hall. There was always some excitement going on. People talking about their crushes, others receiving howlers of their families, ... There were however the ones that... pretty much were too much. Too loud. On the verge of going very, very, very wrong.
The dhampir didn't eat alot, she usually chose to snack on a muffin or something she could get her hands on. It had become a habit that she 'borrowed' desserts during dinner time, to satisfy her needs on a different time of the day. She couldn't help it, but it didn't seem to be really a problem. But even so, she chose to hide her nourishment whenever a House Elf pitter-patterd by.
On her left, at a more far away placed table, Nico could hear some... commotion. As the Prefect that she was, she couldn't help but be curious. However, sitting down, just laying back would also be a nice alternative.
With an annoyed soft groan, the redhead pulled herself up, dressed in the usual Slytherin green robes. Her badge, shimmering on top of her chest. She used to feel annoyed, having it out in the open, but why hide what you stand for.
At first things seemed to be fine. Students gathered around, starting a conversation with another student who had parked himself on a rather unusual spot. There wasn't really any harm to it, so that was one less thing to be worried about. At first, she didn't want to make any unwanted attention, observing the scene. Oh? He was selling bouquets? It was strange how something as small and gentle as selling/giving away flowers could fill someone up with warmth. It was rare these days. Her iceblue hues then scanned the guys clients. Some she recognised, others she didn't. The Ravenclaw boy who clearly was the one who set up this stand, she vaguely recognised. What was his name again...? It was abit blurry.
Then there was the purple haired girl that she knew as Cassandra, one of her teammates of the Quidditch team. A nice, kind girl, as far as she could tell.
Paige Grant was the Hufflepuff she met in the Library. She too was a kind creature with an identity that some would find questionable. People with a modern way of thinking probably wouldn't have an issue with it. But sadly, you can never be too careful.
The last of faces she recognised, was Kazuo. That was his name, right? The first time she met him was during the T.Ruth thing where he showed his support to the dhampirs. That was already a good score in her recordbook of people. Maybe she could strike up a conversation with him. He seemed like an interesting character.
As she curiously approached the group, she couldn't help but notice that one of them had pulled out their wand in a questionable way. Nico didn't really know how things got to this point, but no student should be aiming a wand at another. Not this close to the Great Hall, not ever. Except well, class... If it was prohibited.
Nico sighed. This could've been nice... And then this. At Cassandra no less.
More or less exhausted but still straightening her back to look 'professional', Nico stepped up to the both of them and laid a glare on the pink haired girl. 'I'd advise you to put that away. Now.' Her ice cold eyes pierced into the First Years. Her Unsettling Aura sled down her back as it would make the younger student feel incredibly uncomfortable. 'I don't know what happened here, but I'm sure a wand isn't the right way to settle this.' If Cassandra would allow her, Nico would step between the two, the wand would then be pointed at the redhead and no longer at Cass.
If Cassandra wouldn't allow her, the Prefect wouldn't let her gaze stray from the pink haired child. Maybe this wasn't the Ravenclaws fault, but if that wand wouldn't be put away soon, things would end badly for her.@Kazuo Shimada | @Cassandra Ironwoods | @Adam Harrington | @Paige Grant | @Ginger CrowdyAbilities : Lovely Creature - Unsettling Aura [ON]

It seem like everything was resolve now and the peace was restore as others joined the group to get a flower or two but not bring the situation into further chaos which is what Henry liked. The second year didn't enjoy causing chaos or getting into trouble but was loyal to his friends at a default and at times wouldn't mind causing a little trouble after all... but the situation seem to clam down...
Well after Paige said her piece to the pink haired ravenclaw in which Henry smiled toward her before hearing her response to him and Cash and playfully replying" I wouldn't say hufflepuff thing, maybe a friendly thing," the twelve year old would smile toward Paige glad to be friends with her and have the girl on his side if anything goes wrong ..
However as the conversation moved on, Henry moved his eyes back to the ravenclaw; Adam.
The blue eyed boy smiled as he watched Adam conjure up a bouquet for Paige and playful looked over at Cash before back at the other two however the ravenclaw boy mentioned not fighting again and Henry agreed" I agree with Adam," before hearing his next remark about Ravenclaw's sticking together in a fight and Henry playfully replied" if a bawl would break out then the Slytherin's would probably come out victorious, right Cash?"
Before the conversation continued and Adam asked everyone what they were going to do for their spring break, Henry opened his mouth to answer but the pink hair ravenclaw; Ginger cane up and had her wand pointed as Cash as well as had a few insults for them.
As a dueler and because he was loyal, Henry would step up toward Ginger and grip his wand but leave it concealed in his jacket pocket as he spoke" there's no need for those words or wands Ginger, so I suggest you put your wand away," Henry wasn't joking around anymore as he stood between his friend and the ravenclaw as the boy looked around for a moment before lowering his voice so only Cash and Ginger could hear, "and for your information, Cash is twice the person you'll ever be. Since you already proved today they have more intelligence and class than you who acts like a child when she hears the first word that she disagrees with," Henry looked at Ginger and the once kindness and laughter that filled his face was gone... now replaced with a rather focused and emotionless face that he worse during duels.
Henry wasn't about to let anyone insult or jinx his friend so he kept his hand on his concealed wand as he spoke " I suggest you should leave Ginger before you do something that you regret," or before she gets jinx but Henry held his tongue at that part since the slytherin perfect came up and had her own words for the situation.
Henry didn't stand down at the sight of the prefect and kept his ground between the two as he focused on Ginger before speaking"you should heed her words and put your wand away as you leave since your so determined to ruin the peace."

@Ginger Crowdy @Henry Knight @Nico Shymane @@Cassandra IronwoodsPaige tilted her head as she smelled the flowers. "Well, I'm staying for the break, you?" She replied, appreciating the peace that was settling down. Everything was settling down. Everything was alright now, the peace was back. She smiled. I am pretty darn friendly, unless you get on my nerves." She laughed. Then she gave a sarcastic laugh. " Tell yourself whatever you want, Henry. But we all know the badgers are the feistiest, and most likely to win." She smiled.
But something wasn't right. She could feel an angry feeling radiating from besides her, and Saw Ginger pulls out her wand and start cursing. Paige didn't stop to think, but she quickly held out her arm in front of Ginger, and slowly brought it down as she heard the words come from her mouth. Suddenly, Paige didn't want to filter her words. She didn't want to just stand there. Instead of what Henry was doing, she tensed up, ready to knock Ginger aside if she decided to cast a hex on Cassandra, so the spell would most likely not hit her. She nodded at Henry and walked besides him, between the two girls. She gritted her teeth.
" Who are you, to say those words, and then threaten the person? Henry is right. And I have no idea what has gotten into you, but it better go away. Now." Keeping her eyes on Ginger, she let the prefect, whom she had met in the library, and also the only one who knew what she was, say her words. She felt at unease, but she stood tall, glaring daggers at the pink haired girl.

When he had awoken this morning it was with a twinge of attitude and aggression, something was bothering him and he wasn't sure what it was. Honestly, he just sometimes woke up this way as of late and it was by no surprise that he couldn't recognize that his own self-induced solitary confinement of social interaction was the primary cause. Zykeal didn't recognize this though, as his year had been quite eventful when it came down to altercations with his peers in the school.
As per usual, he adorned his all-black muggle attire, the muggle-skater in him showing his typical attitude towards the student body in his clothes. For one, he detested the house concept and never found that it primarily reflected his persona. Regardless, he'd go about wandering the halls on this day for some quiet contemplation, trying to ease his mind of the attitude he still held onto. When he was nearing the great hall, he could hear a commotion within its boundaries which sounded to him like a lot of bickering. Having not been able to drop his current mindset, he couldn't help but let that cocky smirk stretch across the side of his face as he entered through the large open doors.
With his ivory-white aspen wood wand twirling throughout his fingers like a drumstick, he held it up in front of him at mid-chest level, always ready for its hilt to be snapped into the palm of his hand to deal with any of these low-level annoyance that dared to confront him. Approaching the group, he noticed a display of flowers and wondered how such a little gathering could have turned sour in front of such a beautiful display of nature. Zykeal wasn't one that was big on flowers, but, he was a lover of the outdoors and didn't appreciate the hostility around the display.
The second-year Gryffindor would stop in front of the gathered crowd and his golden eyes would snap directly towards Cash, gauging the situation at hand for a moment, the tint of their eyes and hostility in their nature. After a brief second, he looked on towards the shark-girl (Nico) who seemed to be trying to handle the situation, he didn't bother analyzing that individual and moved his gaze towards the others. Henry would be the next person he'd gaze towards and he couldn't help but recognize the weakness he found in the boy at times. A small shake of his head as he looked on next towards the seemingly younger individuals that were on the opposite side of the altercation.
One more individual was made note of, easily the oldest here, he assumed, Adam was noted to be a peaceful individual and he couldn't help but to instantly decide that no matter who started to fight, he'd prefer to be on the side of those that were outnumbered; even if it was against some acquaintances and friendly faces. Although he wasn't fond of Prefects specifically, he had to agree with the shark-girl at this moment and he decided to offer a few words of insurance towards the group, "I'd love to get involved if it'd come to... playing... with our wands," the little smirk of his turned devilish in an instant as he snapped the twisting wand within his fingers into the palm of his hand as he lowered it to his side.
Then his eyes darted over towards the individual standing around the flowers and felt a little bad that this beautiful display was being poisoned by these annoying individuals, "Though, I suggest you all take it away from here, or, I'll get involved," he simply stated. There was an air of arrogance about him, the former duelist who was removed from the team for attacking his own teammate. The 12-year-old was not above being petty, that was for sure, and he had no problem twisting his spells towards individuals that displeased him. That... should be known.

Civil conversation would have to wait (not that anyone was interested in it, anyway). Whether it was the crowd or Adam's sign, something was drawing more and more students over to his stand, and he'd let himself get a little preoccupied with the first group. He didn't even have any more flowers ready — they were flying off the table as fast as he could conjure them. While the atmosphere around the flower stand teetered between friendly banter and serious threats, Adam busied himself with creating more products, resolving to keep a watchful eye on his rowdy schoolmates. If a fight broke out, he couldn't afford to get involved; until then, though, he could certainly try to prevent things from getting that far.
He readied his wand as a quiet girl approached his table, another younger-looking student in Ravenclaw robes [Aurora]. She muttered something that Adam couldn't possibly hear and he froze for a split second as he debated how to respond. Should he ask her to repeat herself, or just roll with it? Preferring the latter, Adam returned the girl's small smile and greeting. "Hi! A coupl'a flowers coming right up!" Please let that be what you asked for. He flicked his wand through the air and a bouquet sprung into being, full of bright spring colors. Adam caught the flowers and passed them over the table to the girl, waiting nervously for her reaction.
If she had any complaints, however, they were buried by the arrival of two more students: both first-years, by the look of them, and both with a very certain type of bouquet in mind. The Hufflepuff boy [Kazuo] bowed to Adam (making him feel very much like some kind of lord) and asked him politely if he could conjure only sakura blossoms. He was joined at the table by yet another Ravenclaw girl [Amethyst] who had a whole list of what she wanted in her bouquet. Luckily, she was willing to settle for just pink. Adam could do pink. Maybe.
Both newcomers received Adam's customary grin before he got started. He hoped it would put them at ease — the girl seemed a bit nervous. He also hoped that it would distract them from the argument going on barely a meter away. "I'll try my best! So you want a pink theme, and you want sakura blossoms...those are also pink, aren't they? I think I can do that." Adam closed his eyes briefly and envisioned every sort of pink things he could think of. Candy floss, hearts, a bar of soap... And though he had no idea what the different types of flowers looked like, he repeated the names that the girl had said in his mind. If he concentrated, that was sure to be enough.
Adam opened his eyes and threw another distracted smile at his customers to let them know that he was working on it. He'd start with the sakuras. The blond boy took a deep breath, held his wand straight up, and began to move it through the proper motions. "Orchide-"
Movement pulled his attention away from the spell. His wand crackled a bit, and there was a faint smell of fresh flowers, but nothing more. Adam had been distracted by the arrival of a prefect, the Slytherin named Nico Shymane. He didn't know her, exactly, but he knew of her. She wielded her authority well. Adam was glad to see her step into the middle of the argument, knowing that she'd have a better chance of breaking it up than he did. As long as she didn't decide that this was all Adam's fault, Nico's presence was more than welcome. He made a mental note to say thanks next time he saw her. Hey, maybe she'd like some flowers too.
So everything was under control once more...almost. Adam had just noticed a familiar face join the group, one that gave him pause. He remembered Zykeal from the tug-of-war game where he'd met Cassandra. When their friendly competition had turned into a literal fistfight (if Adam's memory served him right), Zykeal had been directly involved. They hadn't talked much after that, and Zykeal seemed nice, but of course "seemed" was the key word. It wasn't that Adam didn't trust him — it was just that he didn't want him making things worse when they were so close to being better.
"Hold on for just a second," he said to the first-years still at his table, still waiting for their flowers. Adam gave them an apologetic look before raising his voice. "Hey, Zykeal! Come get some flowers! They're free!" If the younger boy were to look over at Adam, he'd see the underlying message in Adam's plastered smile: the one that said let the prefect handle this.
Not for the first time, and definitely not for the last, Adam wondered how such an innocent, charitable idea had led him to this point where he felt as if he were playing a dangerous political game. Maybe that was just the Hogwarts effect. Maybe he should let his mum pull him out.

@Adam Harrington | @Paige Grant | @Henry Knight | @Zykeal LaneIn one way or another, the Ravenclaw girl (Ginger) retreated and was no longer trying to lay harm on Cassandra. Nico sighed with relief. Just with that sigh, her scary aura dissolved and things would feel peaceful again to her peers. From within her pocket she'd pull up a notebook and quickly write down some notes to then, just as quickly, put it away again. She'd smile softly, turning to both Paige and Henry. 'It was very kind of you both to step up. Cassandra has some great friends.'
She'd then turn to Adam and bow her head slightly at him. 'My apologies for my stern interference. I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. I really... like the idea of what you've set up here.' Her eyes would glance at the small crowd of students that had gathered around. 'They need this. We all do.' Her bright smile had slid back into a rather solemn one. There hasn't been a day that Hogwarts would be joyous and filled with laughter. Possibly, there have been some days. But Nico could barely remember those.
She'd hear the voice of someone she only met once, as far as she could remember. Zykeal. Her eyes would rest on his figure for a moment, noticing the way he played around with his wand. 'There won't be any need for that.' Her eyes turned slightly cold again. 'Careful, Zykeal.' She wasn't out to play the boss in all this.
