Letters to Family and Friends Solo Finished

Dear Godric,

I really couldn't wait to respond to your letter! How exciting to learn all about our family! I didn't even know that everyone in our family was in Slytherin. Well, everyone except my mother and me. Sometimes I wonder if the hat made the right decision but I think it did.

And yes, I have known what a Parselmouth is. In fact, I haven't known for long but I learned about it through a bizarre incident. Because I am one myself and didn't know it until a few months ago. To be honest, this was also the reason for the howler from my mother. She was not thrilled with the fact and even less thrilled that I kept it a secret from her.

Thanks for your words of encouragement! It's hard currently but it will get better eventually too, I'm sure. I would love to hear more about our family!

Dear Haley,

I'm glad you were so happy to receive the letter and finally learn about your own family. And what a surprise! That's really great to hear that we have another Parselmouth in the family! I must honestly admit that I was always a little sad that I didn't inherit this talent but I'm even more pleased that you are now blessed with it.

And don't let your mother or other students get you down, there's nothing wrong with being a Parselmouth! Some great wizards have had this talent and it's something to be really proud of. You are very special Haley.

I would love to tell you more about our family history but there is so much and it would be much easier to show it to you. I have a lot of family albums here and if you want we could look through them together and I'll tell you all about it. Maybe you would like to visit me in the next vacations?

Dear Godric,

that sounds great, I'd really love to visit you. The next vacations are in a few weeks. Only it could be difficult. I should definitely not tell mother about it, she certainly wouldn't allow me and I wouldn't even know how to get to you. Sure I could persuade her that I could visit a friend for a few days but then I still wouldn't know how to get to you....

And thanks again for your words. I often appreciate it as a talent but more and more often I have to ask myself if it is not also a curse to live with this talent. I feel like there is almost no one who sees parseltongue as a good thing.

here's my idea - you convince your parents to spend the first weekend of the vacations with a friend and her family and I'll take care of the rest. Then we'll meet at Diagon Alley near Gringotts and I'll take us to my house.

I must admit I am disappointed. For weeks I have waited for your letter, until today in vain. Now I have to take the initiative and get in touch. Of course I must.

How are you Hales? I must say that as much as you have enjoyed me, I miss spending time with you. Don't flatter yourself.

Homeschooling is boring as always and on days like this I envy you for being able to go to a school.

But I don't want to complain. Hope you are doing well and to read from you soon.

I am so so sorry! I know I promised to write you but somehow something always came up. And even if you won't believe me, today I thought of you and wanted to finally write you a letter. But these are all excuses, I am fully aware of my guilt and hereby ask for forgiveness.

We both know that you have already forgiven me so now to the important. I am very well and how are you? I'm sorry, you know, you're so bored. I would also like it more if you were here at Hogwarts. Then I could be on your nerves every day.

This month we had visits from three schools (France, America and Russia) it was exciting and Hogwarts was even more crowded than usual. Which got annoying pretty quickly.

The vacations are getting closer and soon my first year will be over again. Are you going to visit your grandmother again during the vacations?

Dear Haley,

yes, yes, you're right. I have already forgiven you. But not a second time, so you better not forget me again!

I'm fine, unfortunately there's not much exciting to tell but somehow I'm still happy to be home schooled. The thought of seeing you every day made my stomach turn for a moment. How lucky I am not to be annoyed by you every day. You know I'm just kidding.

That sounds exciting and thrilling. Although I would probably get annoyed by so many people so quickly.

My grandmother has already asked if I'm coming back, if you're going too I would schedule it so we're there at the same time. So counter question, will you be there again and if so when?
