Revelations PV Haley Rose Finished

Thankful for @Haley Rose

He wondered if he had been there for her enough through her discovery and path towards acceptance and hoped that he had. Somehow though he knew it was an internal struggle and a venture that one really had to go alone.

"Haley? You know I'm here for you, right? No matter what you're going through, no matter what you think of yourself,"
no matter what others thought of her at times.

Simon reached out and took her hand into his, stopping their walk for a moment. Most of the other students were already at The Great Hall and so they really had the space all to themselves. His eyes watched her green ones, hoping she could trust in his words because he truly felt them - no more than ever since he had a hint at what it was like to walk in her shoes now.

He gave her a small smile, glad that as he looked to her, he could see her looking back at him the same way she always had. She really wasn't judging him about this nor was she afraid of him. She was she and he was him. Simon and Haley.

Glad that she was there for him like this in support he gave a soft squeeze of her hand and stepped forward. How fortunate he was to have someone like her in his life. His hand other hand came up to gently brush against the side of her face and he leaned down until his lips came to press against her own.

How did I deserve you?@Simon Kincaid
Haley was surprised that they were now talking about her. This was not supposed to be about Haley, but about Simon. He was always there for her and always would be, she didn't doubt that, but this situation showed exactly how pure his heart was. Even now, when it was supposed to be all about him, he was worried about Haley. In these situations she always told herself that she didn't deserve him. At least she didn't know why she deserved him. He was too good to her and so she looked dumbly at their hands intertwined together.

They stop and her gaze moved from his hands to his eyes and there she could see it. The honesty in his words, as if his eyes were speaking to her. This bond with this boy was special, whatever it was. But this was proven to her over and over again in situations like this. She would trust him with her life and it was all the more important to her that he trusted her so much too.

She noticed his little smile and her heart gave a little jump. There was nothing that could make her happier than seeing Simon smile in this situation. To know that he didn't only have negative thoughts and feelings. And so she gave him a brief smile back.

When he came closer and stroked the side of her face, her heart jumped again. It was as if she would never get used to this feeling when they were so close. But that made her happy, because it was a good feeling and she wouldn't want to miss it. She stretched towards him and returned his kiss. And again her heart jumped and she felt the tingling in her belly.

And there was something that could make her happier than seeing Simon smile and that was this moment. And she would have liked to never let it end. It was almost as if the two of them had just sealed that they would always be there and would always see each other with the same eyes as they always had.

When their lips parted again, she took his face between her hands and looked deep into his eyes. "You're too good for me." She whispered softly to him and pulled him down into a kiss again. After they separated again she looked at him for a moment, "I'll always be here for you."

Another goodbye with @Haley Rose

Simon smiled to her, glad that they both seemed to be on the same page here about all this. He still hoped though that she didn't harbor a bit of any negative feelings toward him in not realizing exactly how awful her fight was. Never did he want to make light of it, only wanting to help.

Together, the lion and the badger entered into The Great Hall of the Ground Floor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The parselmouth and the dhampir. Simon glanced over to her though, feeling okay at that moment.

Maybe it would be this rollercoaster ride and while Simon himself loved them, there were lots of different features on any given one that made them safe, including sometimes someone right next to you to squeeze the heck out of if needed. Simon and Haley both had that person in each other.

Still, they were in those separate houses and just as curfew cut their time together short, so did meal times in The Great Hall, as the Hufflepuffs like Simon sat with the other Hufflepuffs at the Hufflepuff table and the Gryffindors like Haley sat with the other Gryffindors at the Gryffindor table.

"So uhh...I guess we part ways for now. Physically, but not in spirit."
It wasn't such a bad thing after all. He was going to have to give himself time to think and process what he had just learned that day.
