Club Meeting Asian Society Meeting, The First R

Suzuki noticed the origami zoo first. Then the map of Asia. She walked over to the small gathering, and stood straight. Then, she bowed the traditional Japanese greeting bow.
"Hey. I'm Suzuki. Suzuki, Kage. Noticed.... Your gathering. You guys are Japanese? So am I. 挨拶 挨拶 just means 'greetings'." Suzuki tilted her head. "Sorry if I'm interrupting. I couldn't help but notice. Anyways, nice to meet you. I was born in Aichi. Raised in Fukuoka."
Suzuki peered at the origami zoo. It really was quite well made; each crease in the paper was crisp and clean. Her eyes landed on the first boy. He had straight black hair, similar to many Japanese. Narrow cheekbones. Probably from a richer family, she thought. "What are your names? My Japanese name is 鈴木影." Suzuki jammed her hands in the pockets of her robes, very aware that everyone was probably staring at her. Usually, she wasn't so... Outgoing... But with people with a similar culture as her, it was quite hard to ignore. Her aunt had raised her to be a proper Japanese girl... Her very Japanese aunt hadn't wanted to send her back to her mother in London, she thought it might destroy all the Japanese in Suzuki. But then Suzuki's aunt died, and she had to be sent back to London. However, her aunt was wrong. No matter what, Suzuki would still be Japanese. The culture was deeply embedded in her.
Note that this was before I signed up officially

While they had been talking another girl entered. Kazuo glanced at the newcomer as she bowed, arching an eyebrow at the formal greeting. He turned and gave her a polite bow in return. “はじめまして (Hajimemashite - Nice to meet you) Suzuki-chan. I am from Japan. Hana and Akari were raised here in the UK though, I believe. I’m from Tokyo, though my clan keeps an estate in Niigata Prefecture. My name is Shimada Kazuo.”

He glanced back at the table with its paper animals and sushi. “This is the Asian Society. We’re a club that is meant to celebrate Asian culture here at Hogwarts. We aren’t a very big club, as you can see. We are hoping to host events to show the students different aspects of our cultures. So far, though, only Japanese students have joined.” He gave a shrug and a slight chuckle of embarrassment. “If you’re interested, you’re welcome to stick around. Please have some of the sushi. I’d hate for it to go to waste.”

He then poked Hana, noticing that the other boy hadn’t been paying attention at all to Suzuki’s entrance. “Hana-senpai~ Say hi to another potential member~” He teased the older boy with a slight smirk.

Just a short post to greet Suzuki.

Don't confuse my attitude with my personality. My personality is who I am; my attitude depends on who you are.
