The Klutzy Twin Finished

If anyone asked Mardella what she had been planning to do today, her answer would probably feature the words 'outside' and 'flying', certainly not grabbing lifting a barely conscious fellow Gryff in a bridal carry and charging down the corridors. At least her long legs were good for something.

She'd been minding her own business, heading down from the Gryffindor Tower when she'd spotted a puddle of black robes at the bottom of one of the stairs and a vaguely familiar bright head of pink and blue hair. "Merlin!" She'd cried out in an embarrassingly squeaky voice, before dashing down the steps between them and dropping to her knees beside the collapsed girl. "Hello? Can you hear me?"

Hearing no response, but blinking at the arm that wobbled a little too bonelessly to be good and the...fluffy cottontail...? She pressed a few fingers to the girl's neck, breathing a sigh of relief at the flutter of the veins there below the skin. She glanced around, looking for someone that might help but it seemed that the halls were mostly empty now that classes were over for the day. Right. Okay. Okay - okay, she needed help. She needed...The Hospital Wing!

Buoyed by her plan, she slipped her arm under the girl's shoulders, noting briefly the Gryffindor tie, and her other arm under the girl's knees, lifting her up before starting in the direction towards the Hospital Wing at a very brisk pace - afraid to jostle the semi-conscious girl too much. "Oh Merlin! Oh Merlin! Oh Merlin!"

Lilith was awake... ish ... sorta... who knows? she was quite aware of the girl helping her but she couldn't react at the moment , she was in too much pain. she couldn't move much , or talk , or even just see things that were not blurry. the girl was being so very nice to help her , Lilith hoped she could pay the girl back when she got better . her hair turned a pitch black color darker than a raven's wings. she couldn't help the sudden change, she couldn't control her powers as a metamorphmagus at the moment. groaning she felt the girl run holding her limp body in her arms , she hoped they were going to the hospital and not somewhere crazy because she was about to pass out again any minute. she thought she recognized the girl but she could have been going mad as a hatter. her bunny tail twitched and held up a continuous rhythm where it would thump the girl's arm. thump thump ... thump thump ... thump thump... today was an bad day in Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry because she was about to puke if the other griffindor girl didn't put her down soon.

Mardella slowed as she approached the Hospital Wing doors, thankful that for once she hadn't gotten lost. They were heavy wooden things, at least double her height and ornate in patterns etched into the gold-brown of the stained teakwood and wide bronze handles. Ignoring these for the moment, she shouldered one door open.

The Wing appeared largely empty. There were beds in rows along the wall, and floating drapes that looked like they could be drawn to separate each for some privacy. Mardella glanced down at the girl in her arms - blinked. Where the girl's hair had been a cheerful pink-and-blue before, like the colour of sweets she'd had once, it was now a solid black colour, but most of all, the injured girl was now awake. "O-oh!" Mardella nearly jumped, accidentally increasing her hold on the her classmate before quickly loosening her grip again and moving to the nearest bed. "Sorry, I didn't realise you were awake - are you alright? - shall I go get someone?" She glanced around frantically for a matron or nurse of some sort. Surely there was a member of staff somewhere? The colour-changing girl was beginning to look green, and not in a good way either. "You don't look so good." Mardella lunged for a bucket across the room.

Lilith liked this girl she seemed nicer than most people she had met "Ya I'm awake or at least I think I am , can you help me get comfortable in a bed and try to find a staff member?" she was glad to be given something to puke in if needed , it was probably going to come in handy soon. the bed was comfortable enough for now and while waiting for a staff member she started singing her favorite song -

Lilith muttered the song under her breath trying not to move to much since her bones were not all there. soon the other girl came back...

"Ya I'm awake or at least I think I am , can you help me get comfortable in a bed and try to find a staff member?"

Carefully, so as not to strain the other girl, Mardella helped the other Gryffindor prop herself up on the white pillows, drawing the sheets to lay them back over her legs. "Sure, I'll..." She hesitated at the foot of the bed and then squeaked out "I'm Mardella!" before hurrying off down the other end of the Hospital Wing to see if she could find someone.

At the far end, a few of the beds had drapes drawn around them signalling perhaps a patient inside, but no nurse or healer it seemed.

"Hello?" She called out, hoping perhaps one of the patients in bed would respond. "I'm looking for a healer?"

There was apparently a small office down this side of the wing too, evidenced by the open door and a stack of papers and files on a desk within. The room was empty though, and Mardella didn't dare go in, just in case a member of staff happened to suddenly wander in. It would be awful if she was caught snooping!

Sighing at the lack of response, she headed back towards the injured girl wondering what exactly she should do. She could leave the other girl here alone and run out looking for help, but what if she passed out again? Surely the healer would be back in a moment? Or she could -

Mardella stopped, train of thought derailing at the whispered tune that suddenly caught her ear. The other girl was singing! "Um, you've got a lovely voice?" Mardella said, louder than she had expected to in the quiet of the Hospital Wing.

blushing Lilith smiled "thanks it helps keep me calm is situations like this , I'm used to the odd animalistic parts but not the part where my bones are gone right out from under my nose. admittedly the bunny tail is a bit different than the usual scales or fur though" she thought for a minute before asking for her school bag which was next to the bed "I think I have something to fix myself with but it's in my bag" after getting the bag she dumped out her potion making ingredients and sorted through them . dragon blood , dragon scales , dragon teeth , mermaid hair , mermaid scales , unicorn hair , a few random vials of unlabeled blood , finally after a few more random things that she had for more than just making potions she found some phoenix tears and drank a few drops of it. her body went back to normal healing it's self after a few minutes all accept for various scars all over her body that looked odd and were impossible to heal even with all the most powerful potions and magic in the world. any blood test would confirm that she was odd even a muggle blood test could identify her as being weird. that's just who and what she was ' weird.

Mardella wondered what exactly the girl was used to if the random bunny tail wasn't freaking her out, or her random colour-changing hair?

"I think I have something to fix myself with but it's in my bag"

She reached for the bag, she had hastily dumped by the foot of the bed earlier and placed it on the bed beside the other girl. "Here," She said with a tentative smile, wondering how exactly anyone went about fixing disappeared bones or random animal parts. Scratch that she thought wide eyed as the girl sorted through loose creatures parts which had just been SITTING IN HER BAG! Dragons teeth? Mermaid hair! The first year potions didn't require much more than plant life or flobberworms! The girl made a noise of triumph before fishing out a crystal vial with a sort of clear, golden liquid within and then in one movement tipped it back into her throat.

It must have been something powerful, maybe a potion of some sort, because nearly immediately the boneless limb grew rigid again and the tail disappeared with a little pffft noise and the two girls were left blinking at each other.

"Er..." Mardella wondered if there was any way to extract herself from the situation without being too rude. Was this normal for the magicals of Hogwarts? It certainly wasn't an everyday occurrence back where she was from!

Lilith frowned putting things back in the bag " gosh I'm sorry you must be very confused , I don't need the stuff in my bag I just happen to run across those ingredients almost every day so I put them in with my potion ingredients . the gold stuff I used was phoenix tears. I'm sure my calmness is frightening you, the reason I'm used to the animal insanity is because I got bit by a werewolf so I'm ... kinda a bit wild sometimes ..." she didn't think the girl was gonna want to be friends after that shaky speech but maybe she would . Lilith couldn't really help that she grew up in a family that wasn't exactly a good influence, her family taught her magic that no one should know about , the kind of magic that haunts you at night to the point that you wake up screaming. her family owned and/or cared for creatures that were to wild to be kept in captivity and treated them like pets. many of those creatures often injured Lilith in ways that changed her and being so young at the time meant that she had to learn to act older than she was , learn to not cry every time something went wrong . maybe some day soon she would find a cure .

Mardella nearly fell over in surprise - a werewolf? Merlin! She felt a bit bad for being so wary earlier. The Blood War Harry Potter had fought in had gone a long way in fighting prejudice against Werewolves, there was even a werewolf who had received an Order of Merlin back then in the fight. She didn't know much about them to be honest, but she'd seen a few odd regulars to the apothecary across the street that Tiordan had pointed out might have been werewolves. "Not frightening, per se," She said, after a slightly longer pause than she'd meant to leave, "Just surprising!" And flashed the other girl a friendly grin. "Sorry, I forgot to ask you your name! I'm Mardella." She held her hand out of the other girl to shake.

"That was a lot of potion ingredients, you any good at the subject?"
