General The Hufflepuff Table 2017 - 2018 Closed

"Nice name! Anyways, I'll leave you two be... I'll see you later Ani!" Jenna giggled at Ani and rushed out the door to the dormitory.

James' eyes followed Jenna as she left, giggling. He watched her go with an amused expression, then turned back to Ani.
"Alright, so what classes are next, if any?" he asked. "If not, we can go exploring or something..."

She smiled. "Thats really it for the day...a few places I haven't been yet though. Like the Ballroom and the Study of Ancient Runes class." Ani looked at the door than back a James happily.

James thought about it for a moment.
"I've already been to the ballroom... do you want to see if we can find the "Ancient Runes or whatever you said" class?" James asked.
James stayed quiet, waiting for her answer, hoping she would say yes.

She smiled and grabbed his hand pulling him out of the seat towards the door. "YES, I mean what else would I say? Also..to bad if you've already gone to the ballroom, i'm gonna check it out and I really don't wanna seem pushy...but you're going with me!" Ani giggled and puled him out the door as they'd walk to the "Study Of Ancient Runes" class.

Kat walked over to the Hufflepuff table, ignoring the looks that she got from the people in that house. tapped James shoulder, smiling lightly "Hey James." she looked  at the others, slightly disappointed by the glares and scared looks that were cast her way
Oh, they must be annoying.
Be quiet. We're just here for a quick chat with James.
Stupid.

James looked up as he felt someone tap his shoulder. He looked up over his shoulder to see that it was Kat.
"Oh, hi again!" he exclaimed, accidentally speaking with a bit of food left in his mouth. He quickly swallowed and grinned apologetically at her.
"Sorry..." he apologized.
"I was actually going to come over and see you soon!" he said excitedly.
He proceeded to put his fork down and scoot himself over, moving his bag over for Kat to sit next to him.
"Come on and sit!" he invited her cheerfully.

Kat chuckled, "It's fine," She said after he had apologised for speaking with his mouth full. 
"I was actually going to come over and see you soon!" he said excitedly.
"Really?"
That's a first.
She sat down at the table, smiling at him lightly. "So, are the Hufflepuffs as kind as I've heard?" She asked, looking around slightly, trying to keep her red eye hidden while her black one scanned the area.

James shrugged.
"So far, from what I've seen..."
James didn't really know what else to say to that. Part of him wished she would stop referring to him as just a Hufflepuff. He wanted to be more than that... wasn't he already? Or was he just another nice, kiss-up Hufflepuff? No, that couldn't be the case. James was nice because he wanted to be. Because he wanted friends. Because... 
James stopped thinking and looked back at Kat.
"Well, I'm pretty much done eating. Want to do anything? Go anywhere?" he asked.
