She nodded to what Ileen said about their jinxes not really causing harm. Maybe jinxes were defined as Dark Magic, but there was nothing wrong with the use of them in a sanctioned duel. Even their strongest spells, like Flipendo and Ventus, didn't do lasting damage. It was better to know how to use them, to be able to trust themselves in wielding magic. With the state of the school, they had to be able to defend themselves. There were some things deserving of the malicious intent behind certain spells.

Ileen announced she was going to head to bed after checking her watch. It was understandable; a glance at the hands of her own watch told that it was indeed getting late. She was starting to feel the strain of the time she'd been practicing, too, both at the team practice and now. "Me too," she agreed. Practicing with Ileen again was something she would like. Usually she preferred any extra practice to take place alone--it helped her focus more and removed any pressure of having eyes on her--but it was clear Ileen was there to work hard and was someone Bridget could respect. Besides, maybe another perspective could help her whenever she hit a rut, like it had today with the Wind Jinx.

"Goodnight, Ileen," she called after the second year, watching as she left the room. Bridget knew she should probably head in soon, too. But first, a few more tries...
