An early breakfast

Continuing "Her first letter" with @Florence Ainsworth
Samantha and Florence walked into the Great Hall for breakfast. The Great Hall was almost empty. It was really early in the morning and most of the students were still asleep. Even though there weren't much students yet the tables where already filled with breakfast that the house-elfs had made. The girls just came out of the owlery where Samantha had send her first letter. Samantha hoped that the owl wouldn't lose her letter of get lost. "Thanks again for helping me," Samantha said to Florence.
Samantha looked around, there was more then enough space for them to sit. Samantha walked to the nearest table and sat down. As she looked over all the food she asked: "What are you going to eat? There is so much choose." But what Samantha actually wanted wasn't there.
The girl wanted to have hagelslag, something she always had when she was still home. Most of the students of Hogwarts probably had never heard about it, since it was something only people in the Netherlands eat on there bread. Samantha knew that the thing that came the closest to hagelslag was chocolate sprinkles, but if she would ask if there were chocolate sprinkles everybody would think that she was weird.

An early breakfast
Florence that had a big jacket on her. Had now opend it and hang it under her arm. It was a good choice to take the jacket out. It had been quite cold the night that had been. And it was even frost that morning. But now ehn they got inside the gold was as gone. It came warm from all the candle that was lighted in in the grat hall. And also by the fireplaces that were around. A stone castle wasnt the best factor to keep a warm school going. But Florence thought that it was might magic involved aswell to keep the school warm.
She and Samantha took a sit next to each other. And the girl asked her what she was going to eat. Florence was quite picky with what she should eat. She didnt want to choose anything new. Beacuse maybe it would taste bad. And she needed go to spit it out? Thart wasnt anything you could do around the table. That would be very unmannerly. She looked around at the food. There was so much to choose from. Even ordinary eenglish dishes that they used to have at home. Like bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage and even brown beans.
Florencee that was used to eating both the english breakfast and the norweigan one. When her dad was from the second named country. There they eated more like sandwiches, boiled eggs, diffrent kind of fishes and oatmeal. She felt that she wanted to have a sandwich with boiled eggs on it and best of everything cavair on it. But she didnt see any caviar.
" I think im gonna go for two sandwiches and with some boiled eggs at them. I wonder if they have caviar." She said to the girl and looked around. And what should she drink? Maybe a glass of milk would be nice after all. She didnt know if that was so common in general all around UK. She know that her mum was very much into tea. And drank like four cups everyday. Florence wasnt that big of a fan of a tea. It was okay and drinkeble. But it wasnt the best she knew. She took a glass of cow milk and then started to look for the cavair more intense. "Where is the cavair?" She said once again. Then she took a quick look at the girl and wonderd what she would ate.

Sandwiches and with some boiled eggs, that didn't sound that bad. Samantha had never tried it, but she would love to one day. Not today though she, she wasn't in the mood for trying anything new. "Caviar, where is the caviar? Is there even caviar?" Samantha though were interrupted, when she saw the caviar on her right. "Here it is" Samantha passed the caviar to Florence. Samantha looked back at the place where she had the caviar from, she would have sworn that there was no caviar there at first. It was like after Florence had asked for caviar it had magically appeared. It wouldn't surprise Samantha if that was what just had happend.
Samantha choose to take the scrambled eggs with bacon. Maybe next time she would take some sandwiches and with boiled eggs, but today she played save. After Samantha had filled her bord she asked: "Where are you from?"''
Samantha tried to pour milk in her glas, but she spilled it all over the tabled. Samantha became red, "I'm sorry!" Normally she wasn't that clumsy, so she was really surprised that she had spilled her milk. Samantha looked if she had spilled anything on Florence, which luckily wasn't the case.

An early breakfast
Florence grabbed the caivair gentle from Samantha and she smiled at her friends. She opend the tube that it was in and pushed some of it out. The smell of the fish eggs came directly to her nose. And she liked it. She could see grimaces her mum would do when her and dad was eating caviar back home. She didnt like the smell and not the taste of it either. It was to salt for her mums taste and too much fish in it. Florence guessed that she had gain alot of liking for things trough her dad. The food, the intrest in books, the music. Had she gain any intrest from her mum even? She thought for a minute and was thining what her mum liked to do.
Her mum was a very social woman. She used to invite her friends over for tea and they could talk for hours. When mums friends came Florence used to lock herself in her room. And wait for the ladies to go away. Otherswise mum liked fashion and knitting. Was that something Florence liked? Not at all. Her mum was very dexterous and Florence was the oppisite. And she didnt have the paitence for it either. So she and her mum was quite the opposite she must say.
When Florence was up in her thoughts she heard the girl asking her were she was from. Florence took a bite of her sandwich and then answerd Samantha with a smile. "I was born in Wick. A little village north of here. My mum is schottish. But my dad is norweigan." When she said that her dad was norweigan she smiled. And looked quite proud. The norweigan part of her was something she liked, it made her a bit special and not like everyone else. Florence could even speak a bit of norweigan. But it was harder to learn it now. Then it came to her mind. She should ask her dad for norweigan books to get the ooppurtunity to learn more.
Then she saw that Samantha was pouring up some milk in her glas. And then suddenly the acident was there. It was milk all over the table and she notice that Samantha got red. Florence grabbed some napkins. And was trying to put most of it up. "No worries here!"
"Ingen fare skjedde" The last sentence was something in norweigan that meant like there was no harm done. And that was something her dad would say in the same situation.

ReducioInteracting with @Florence AinsworthFlorence looked really proud when she told that her daad is Norwegian. "Do you speak Norwegian? I heard it sounds a bit like German, is that true?" Samantha had never heard anybody speak Norwegian in her live, she did hear people talk German. Samantha took her first bite, the food tasted really good.
"Ingen faraa scjedde?" Samantha tried to repeat what Florence just said, but failed miserably "What did you say?" Samantha looked confused at Florence as she stopped with cleaning the milk. Samantha tried to think what it could mean, but she had no idea. Samantha hoped it meant something nice. Hopefully Florence didn't just call her clumsy.
The only languages Samantha mastered were Dutch and English. She had lived in the Netherlands for most of her live so she spoke Dutch fluently. At a really young age she also learned some English from her mother, but most of the time they spoke Dutch together. When Samantha moved to Londen she had no chose but to talk English.
"I really like the scramble eggs, you should try them some time. They're even better than when my dad makes them! And my dad makes amazing eggs." Samantha's dad, Samuel, always made eggs or pancakes in the weekends.
