Gazing to the Stars
Marcus laid down on the ground looking up into the night sky, lightly humming a song as he attempts to relax while he is yet again alone, sighing after a few seconds of humming he shakes his head 'Going to be a long seven years I guess.' he thought, as he picks up his wand and looks it over.
Placing his wand back into his holster on his right arm, he reaches up and encloses his hand around the stairs as if saying 'I will make my own future', slowly closing his eyes as he relaxes even more, hoping no one catches him up here.
beginning to think about the past few days/weeks/months of his stay at Hogwarts, he files away unimportant information, while placing important personal information deep inside of his mind where Masters of Legilimency would have a hard time getting through, remember his lessons on Occlumency, he began to meditate as he lays down underneath the starry sky, sorting through his memories of information he needs and does not need.
After several long minutes, he sits up and opens his eyes then looks up at the starry night sky and smiles lightly "I will make my own way." he whispers.

Gazing to the Stars
It was finally a night away from prefect duties. That simple fact alone made Eris more than content in breaking the rules. She was able to do whatever the hell she wanted. She wasn't representing the house of Gryffindor, and it felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. Tonight she didn't have to monitor the halls for children disobeying. Instead she could do whatever she pleased. Tonight she was just an 11 year old girl, with a red badge and an abnormal habit for breaking most of the school roles.
What Eris wanted at this very moment was visit the Astronomy tower and look at the stars. A stubborn sense purpose had her making up her mind about going to the tower. She had looked at the stars many a lonely night under the bridge, alone on the streets of London. It would be different this time though, as she was no longer alone under a bridge, like a small red headed troll of sorts. She was now at a school of magic, and was able to climb up the stairs to a tall tower to view the stars from up above.
She just wanted to bask in the silence and the stars, not having to be bothered by her duties for once. Dressed warmly in her coat, Eris rounded the steps up towards the outside of the astronomy tower. The stars were beautiful.
Stars winked down at the little red-head from the endless void of black sky surrounding the towers of the large Scottish Castle. They were beautiful, in their sparkling finery. The ones furthest away, that Eris had to squint her eyes to see, just barely sparkling in the distance, were like flashing pinpricks in a veil of darkness that was the English night sky. They had a faint, silver tint and they looked like they were the distant, glittering sparks. In books stars were described as spirits, watching from Heaven or something like that. Maybe the far off stars, that Eris could see from the tower, were her ancient relatives, singing to her through the sky. Sharing her family secrets in a language Eris just couldn't hear yet. It was mesmerizing really, to be able to see all the stars without the layer of pollution that always swallowed out most of the stars in London.
Magical fairy-lights blinking in the distance. Just as beautiful as the castle Eris was standing in, and just as mysterious to the young girl. Finally gazing away from the site of starlight, Eris caught a glimpse of another student. This person, impossible to tell who they were, in the darkness of the night, was lying on the ground. They were also staring at the stars, and hadn't noticed Eris yet.
Not really in the mood for a conversation, the red-headed prefect slid into a sitting position on the cold stone of the tower and looked back up at the stars, praying the other person wouldn't notice her. In a minute, she slid down on her back, until she was also lying down on the cold hard stone.

Gazing to the Stars
Marcus heard someone open the door and enter the tower, deciding to keep quiet he continued watching the stars, glancing over to the shadowed outline of the newcomer, he spotted the prefect badge 'Great..just what I need.' he thought with a soft sigh, his silvery blue eyes looking back up to the starry night sky, smiling softly at the peace and quiet, 'I'll give it a few minutes before I introduce myself.' he thought, watching the stars as they shine so brightly.
A few minutes pass and he spots a shooting star, smiling at the sight he does what all children would do when they see one, he makes a wish.
Beginning to whistle softly a tune he heard when he was younger (Harry Potter theme), sitting up he glances over to the newcomer "Didn't think I would receive visitors." He drawled out like a good pureblood, then chuckles softly, sliding a hand through his silky black locks "And who might I be sitting with this lovely night?" he asked curiously stretching as he lays back down and waits for the newcomer to respond "My name is Marcus De Wynter, by the way." He added to what he said his silveryblue eyes starring over to the shadow outline of the girl.

Gazing to the Stars
Eris lost herself in the stars, looking at the different constellations. Well what might of been constellations. Eris was no astronomer, and all she could see were random blobs of stars, connected into various patterns. Eris might not have been an astronomer, but she was creative. In her mind's eye, she imagined that all the patterns in the sky were different things. Stars that were bunched together became dogs, wands, bears, and other things parading across the night sky. She imagined that the stars were in an endless war with each other, only for Eris to end the war with her magic. Every thought more eccentric then the last, Eris lost herself in making a fantasy world.
Just as the making of her fantasy world was complete, a shooting star shot across the sky, lighting up the darkness with it's unexpected light. Those were really rare, weren't they? And whenever you saw one, you made a wish. Closing her eyes, like any good child making a wish would do, Eris wished to have a pet unicorn.
Of course she had plenty of real life problems to deal with, and things to wish for. Such as her mother to take her back, or finding out her family mystery, but having a pet unicorn seemed a lot better than doing something actually productive with her life. At least in the 11 year old girl's eyes.
The boy spoke in a loud drawling voice, turning Eris's attention away from thoughts of unicorns and stars. His voice pierced the alluring veil of silence surrounding the stars, and forced Eris down to earth. Turning back towards the boy, face pressed against the stone floor, Eris scowled. He was too loud, too bossy for one who was lying on his back watching the stars.
"Last I checked, this is a public space. Not your private quarters, so I'm not so certian you're receiving anything. " Eris replied, excitedly shocked by the way she had mimicked the boy's cool, drawling voice. Her facade of a drawling person dropped though, as she said her name. "I'm Eris Elcan." She said in an a proud, excited voice, reveling over the fact she had sounded like a mean sytherin for a second, and had managed to say something snarky to the Marcus boy , that wasn't completely awkward.

Gazing to the Stars
Kaegen had not been looking up. Looking up scared him, made him feel so insignificant. He was going to survive anything, why was he so worried about feeling small? He was just killing time up here until the first meeting of silens fax. He had founded the group to go up, so why wouldn't he look up there? Instead, he looked down. There was that one boy, the one who walked so crispy Kaegen would swear he was made of a collection of steel rods. Like a soldier, walking down the aisles. Of course, it probably didn't look that way to anyone else. It just stood out in contrast to himself. And a confident walk is most often a crisp one. A loud one.
Pushing aside that line of thought, he decided to pay more attention to the other boy. He came up here shortly after Kaegen, but the ravenclaw had been too busy thinking about looking up to do anything about it. His breathing didn't make a sound, if no one looked at him, they would never notice. But it was only a matter of time before they stopped looking at constellations and started looking at their surrounding. So he might as well talk. It would get his mind off of the sky anyway.
Right before he opened his mouth, the boy introduced himself. And then eris answered. But what struck him as interesting was the boy's name. Marcus DE wynter. He had another name, just like Kaegen did! He would think on what De meant later. Right now, he was going to introduce himself. Eris already knew him, but that boy didn't. Standing up smoothly, his grey scarf doing a pretty good job of making him look dramatic, flapping silently in the wind, he made his entrance.
"I am Kaegen Deathmote, Fens-Born Scarf-Wielder. He who was called fat tadpole as a babe, suicidal idjit as a toddler and earned the name Eeh before arriving at hogwarts, pleased to meet you."
Kaegen's voice sounded like a breeze, a whisper that the wind carried in from some faraway place. It would have done a better job of sounding cool if it wasn't so quiet.

Gazing to the Stars
Marcus just stared at Kaegen 'This guy is completely mental!' he thought inching away from Kaegen "Uh.. pleasure to meet you both" he replied still extremely wary of Kaegen, looking to Eris "So..You're a prefect right?" he asked curiously "Are we in trouble for being up here at this time?" he added to his earlier question with another.
After asking the question, he lays back on the ground and looks up to the starry night sky, "Hopefully not, I wouldn't want to get in trouble just for enjoying the view" he said "What time is it anyway?" he asked "I've been up here for awhile now." he added in a mumble.
"Anyway Kaegen, what are you doing here?" he asked glancing over to the unusual boy from his position "And why do you keep sneaking around in areas I am located?" He asked another question looking back up to the sky as he waits 'I'm surrounded by weirdness.' he thought then chuckled softly "Anyway Prefect Eris, I have a question." He glanced over to Eris with a dazzling smile worthy of a Pureblood "How long have you been coming up here?" he asked "For me it's been the first day, somewhere to relax with the peace and quiet that sadly my dorm doesn't have right now."
