The Coventry family(British) has existed for centuries and is one of the rare families that has survived the danger of extinction. In the past, members' names have been involved in many scandals with inbreeding and their interest in positions of power in the Muggle world. Even if it was not so easy to erase these scandalous details from others' minds, we can now say that these dark remains have been forgotten.

The biggest reason why the Coventry family was not included in the Sacred 28 was also the scandals of the past. Although they had no emotional relationship with the Muggles, the other families did not like how they influenced them and obtained power through manipulation. Pure jealousy.

Alistair was born in Gloucestershire and his family still resides at an Estate there. His mother Helena Coventry is a famous actress and philanthropist in the wizarding world. This woman, who miraculously managed to protect her young image, has appeared in many plays such as The Fountain of Fair Fortune, A Winter Solstice, The Witch in Stripes and Her Majesty's Regalia II&IV.

His father, Nicholas Frederick Coventry, is a legislator at the Wizengamot. Alistair also has relatives who work at Ministries in different parts of the world, especially in France and America.

He had a fairly good childhood so far and took full advantage of his family's rich conditions. While he hopes that homeschooling he received before Hogwarts, like every pureblood, will be beneficial, he is pretty confident that he will be sorted into Slytherin.

Appearance:

Alistair is a well-groomed young wizard who descends from one of the ancient pureblood families. This situation has had a huge impact on his physical growth and style sense. Tall for eleven years old, he's a slender boy with soft blonde hair, narrow dark blue eyes, a pale complexion and a haughty, elegant figure. He usually parts his hair from left side and makes sure a neat result with high quality products.

Although dark colours usually dominate his wardrobe, gray, green, and black are among the shades he wears most. Instead of following wizarding fashion too closely, his mother buys only clothes that appeal to her taste. Which means a timeless attire is more valuable than those trending ones. He usually wears tailored slim fit pants, oxford cloth button down shirts, fancy sweaters that shows his house pride and turtlenecks. While his formal style consists of blazer combinations and suits, his Hogwarts uniform is sewn from a quality fabric.

First Instance of Magic:

One day, when Alistair was still just a toddler, his mother took him out to the garden to get some fresh air. And everything was pretty good at first. This adorable pureblood toddler was enjoying the sun and chasing after colorful butterflies.. Until his uncle Robert thought scaring him would be funny.

Robert Coventry was then a handsome Animagus with a bear form. Even Helena was in shock for a moment when he came out roaring through the bushes. But.. Everything started to get truly chaotic when he focused his attention on Alistair, his wild and inhumane eyes. Alistair was crying in fear of this huge creature he had seen in front of him, and lightning from the cloudless sky began to rain on Uncle Robert.

Although Robert Coventry was in the St.Mungo's for two months following this unfortunate incident, and the garden of the estate had to be renovated, no one was upset by this situation. Because it was proven that their future heir was magical.
