Snow and More
Snow was starting to melt on Earl's burning skin, leaving his white clothes wet and clinging to his body in the most undignified way. Our young boy didn't seem too bothered, however, jumping up and shaking off the cold which had started to make his hands go numb. "Oh my god, yasss," he exclaimed, eyes lighting up with that wild, childish joy which made the air round him seem a little brighter. Smores were incredible. The peak of campfire food. Warm marshmallow combining with the sweetness of the chocolate, and crunch of a good cracker. It was like eating clouds, if clouds were crunchy, and sweet, and stuck to your hair if you weren't careful.
At the mention of the coat, Earl dissolved into giggles, tucking his wet hair behind a porcelain ear. "Why would I have one?" he laughed, sticking out his tongue to catch one of the snowflakes which had started falling. Technically, he did have one. Four sizes too big and holding the smell of cigarettes and polish, with several dubious stains on the sleeves. There was absolutely no way he would be seen wearing THAT in public, no matter how much 'character' it had. Plus, it wasn't even that cold.
Seeing as no one had any sort of retort to that, soon the two boys found themselves following Redhead. He managed to loose his balance twice more in the meantime, before finally setting down beside the pile of sticks which had been plopped down in a hole. Earl had started looking around for some pine needles and dried grass as a fire starter, when the spell came wooshing past his leg setting the sticks aflame.
A high pitched yelp came from the boy as he jumped back, flames licking the ground next to him, winding themselves around the wet wood. Crackles, pops, and a great deal of smoke came of it. Earl stuck his tongue out at the fire. The fire let out a shower of sparks which nearly landed on him. "This one is rude," Earl huffed, crossing his arms and glaring at the flames. "Maybe we won't feed you, what do you think about that." A loud snap responded. And from within the logs, the first fire spyrit appeared, poking it's little head out and surveying the three kids.

Michael listened to the girl about smores, nodding as she talked. He frowned at the mention of fire but didn't say anything. When the girl asked the other boy about a jacket, Mic too wondered. This boy didn't seem to be like him, so Mic didn't think he was naturally heated up.
Mic decided to shrug off his white coat and give it to the other boy. It looked good with the pink hair. He wondered if he could pull off pink hair.
Mic moved to sit back down, as far as the fire as he could. It only reminded him of a boy and a lighter.
He smiled slightly at the boy stuck on his brain. He wondered what he was doing now, probably thinking of ways to get Mic alone again and roast him. Again. Mic watched the other students here.
He wondered what all had happened to them so far, did they like it here? Did they feel safe? Okay? Did someone hurt them to?
But as he looked he only saw happiness and fun, they hadn't been hurt. Not like he had.
Again he was alone in his suffering, to forever not be able to be like them. Happy.

"I don't know," Rose rolled her eyes. "Maybe because it's the middle of December in Scotland and it's freezing outside." She felt a little pang of worry. (Gosh, she had barely met these boys and she was already worrying about them.) What if nobody had ever told him to wear a coat when it was cold? What if he didn't have a coat to wear? Then the small boy with brown hair gave the pink-haired boy his coat. She cocked her head. That was very kind and selfless of him, she thought. She already had an impression on him. He was also very quiet, barely talking at all.
Rose almost panicked as the pink-haired boy yelped, looking quickly to him to see if he was okay. Yes, he was fine. The flames that Rose had cast had just come a little too close for his comfort, she guessed. She gave him an apologetic and bashful smile. "Sorry." Wow, she had just met these guys and she had almost set one of them on fire already. The pink-haired guy seemed to be arguing with the fire, scolding it for being so rude to him. Rose smiled at that, grateful that he hadn't been that shaken by the near-encounter with being set on fire. She contributed to his scolding, saying, "Hey, I brought you into this world, I can take you out and make another one just like you."
That's when she realized she still didn't know the names of the two boys. "So what are your names?" she asked, trying to start a conversation. "I'm Rose," she introduced herself, using only her first name. She didn't think last names were especially important when introducing yourself, and she usually didn't unless it was a formal meeting, important that they know her surname, or if they introduced themselves with their last name. Last names seemed so formal and... cold to her.
Rose stuck a marshmallow on a roasting stick and handed it to the pink-haired boy, then gave one to the other boy and got one for herself. Rose lowered herself to the ground, sitting on her knees, and pointed her wand at the fire again with the hand that wasn't holding the marshmallow, murmuring, "Incendio," again and doing the wand movement to add some more flames to the fire. It grew a little bit, not abrupt enough to surprise any of the three of them, but more steadily that the first one had been. It was warm, which felt good on the cold day.
She turned to the boy who had asked what a s'more is, explaining what they were going to do. "Mkay, so you've gonna roast the marshmallow first. My dad was an expert at this part. You're supposed to make it all golden brown, and try not to burn it unless you like it that way, but it tastes good either way." Rose demonstrated, holding the marshmallow over the fire and letting the fire warm it.

"I'm Earl," our young boy chirped, giving her a huge smile. "You look like a Rose! You got the hair and everything! You just got...vibes~ Yeah that's the word. Hey, watch this!" He went still for a moment, huge gray eyes settling on her. If it weren't for the ghost of a smile on his face, that stare would have been almost unnerving, something eerily unnatural about his perfect features. His form blurred again, making him seem like a badly rendered videogame character. The pink in his hair slowly being replaced by the same shade of red as Rose's. It was a nearly flawless imitation, would have looked identical from a few paces away.
"Twinsies!!" he declared happily, taking a strand of his hair and holding it up next to Rose's, a self satisfied smile settling on his features.
A warm coat was wrapped around his shoulders, and he turned around to find the other boy there, smiling a little. Without a word, the other retreated as far away from the fire as he could, steel gaze settling down on the flames. He didn't talk much did he? Actually, he was rather dark and gloomy. Yeah, Earl could fix that. Pulling the coat around his shoulders as to not allow it to slip off, he made his way to the other boy's side and sat down, resting his head on his shoulder and wrapping his arms around the other's waist. Everyone needed a hug, especially when they were being quiet. And Earl gave the best hugs. "Hi, you're warm," he told the other, before returning his attention back to Rose.
She was explaining what a s'more was, showing off her marshmallow toasting skills while talking about something or other regarding her father. Earl had honestly zoned out, content to watch a beautiful person talk about something she loved. Rose would have made a delightful teacher, her voice warm and soothing, making him feel all nice on the inside.
"Hi you're pretty," he said out of the blue, smiling up at her from where he was cuddling with Mr. Warm Dude. Reaching over for a marshmallow and a stick, Earl managed to get both without moving too much.
Earl had spent way too much time in camps to not know how to make smores. Every summer, his dad would sign him up for a camp and get him out of the house as soon as possible, claiming he wouldn't be able to handle Earl's pestering on top of the heat. So every summer since he was seven, Earl had gone smack center into the middle of the woods with thirty other overly energetic kids, laughing their little butts off and screaming at the top of their longs. Looking back, our boy was starting to feel bad for the underpaid camp councilors....
Before long, his marshmallow was a gorgeous golden brown. He'd somehow managed to get it toasted without leaving his spot, stretching to get it above the flames.

Snow and More
Michael gasped when another body sat beside him. The boy had been looking into the flames that were cooking the others food. Michael looked over and gasped again, unable to stop himself.
What was once a cute pink color was a shiny red, the boy's hair was changed. Unable to stop himself He rose his hand and ran it through the hair. How? How had he changed it so quick? Michael sat in awe.
He had missed the boy's words at first, before they clicked in his head. Mr. Warm. Michael smiled, that was a nickname he hadn't had yet.
He looked back into the flames, "hey can I have a marshmellow too?" He asked Rose. When he got one, and a stick, he blushed as he got it having not remembered he needed it, he put the marshmellow on it. He looked over at the now Red haired boy, "so you just hold it over the fire? Wouldn't it be set on fire?" He asked, smiling slightly.
The boy was. . different then the ones he normally saw, this one seemed to be relaxed, happy. He wondered about this boy, he was slightly jealous of the happiness that radiated off him, but also awed at it.

Rose nodded. "Yeah." Rose looked up as he told her to, looking at him. That's when the color of his hair changed from pink to the same color as her own. She let out a little gasp and blurted, "You're a metamorphmagus." The redhead- well, the natural redhead- had read about the special talent some people were born with. Sometimes she wished that she was one, so that she could change her appearance to look more like she wanted it to look. But she had read about them and their abilities, and could recognize Earl as one right as he changed his appearance. "That's so cool." She couldn't hold back a girlish giggle as he exclaimed that they were "twinsies." She echoed him, "Twinsies!"
The other boy, however, did not provide his name when she asked. He was certainly a quiet dude, and warm as well, as Earl had said. Then Earl had told her that she was pretty. She smiled and blushed, then returned a compliment to him in the same way she did to her. "Hi, you're kind." She didn't completely believe his compliment, but she did appreciate him saying it. It meant she at least didn't look entirely ugly today.
Rose shook her head at the boy's next comment, smiling with him. Even though the question was posed to Earl, Rose answered sarcastically, "If you stick it inside the fire, yes, it will catch on fire. If you hold it over the fire, it'll roast up." It was said good-naturedly, and she wasn't trying to make fun of him. She was Rose tried her best to evenly heat her marshmallow over the fire, but it wasn't one hundred percent evenly covered with a golden brown color... not like Earl's was. But once she had gotten it to a good enough color for her- and, to be honest, to a place that she didn't want to roast it any further because she was scared it might fall off- she pulled the marshmallow back and, with one hand (which maybe wasn't a good idea considering she had a very hot marshmallow on a stick in one hand), pulled out a graham cracker and split it down the middle, then scraping the marshmallow off the stick and onto the graham cracker. Then, she put the stick down that used to have the marshmallow on it and put a piece of chocolate on the top, and then the last graham cracker. She flipped it over, so that the chocolate was on the bottom.
"Wow, Earl, you're an expert at this," she told him, looking at his perfectly roasted marshmallow. Since she was sitting with her legs tucked under her, she placed her own s'more on one of her legs and then picked up the graham crackers again, sliding another out of the sleeve and breaking it in half and putting the chocolate on the bottom cracker. "Either of you done?" If they said that yes, they were done, she would lean forward and sandwich their marshmallow between the two crackers with the chocolate in the middle, pulling the white goodness of the stick, and then handing the s'more to the boy. She would repeat it if the other one was done as well.

"From my mother's side!" Draven hadn't gotten the metamorph genes, which may have been yet another reason the edgelord of a brother hated Earl with a burning passion. Other reasons were Earl's existence, his friends, his looks, his voice, his clothing...he loathed it all! Every little trait however small made his very flesh begin to crawl with simple utter loathing. But that was alright, because Earl didn't exist to please him!
A few minutes passed with Earl snuggling into Mic, not at all ashamed at the way he was stealing the other boy's warmth, while Rose was being a sarcastic queen.
Happiness was a strange emotion, one Earl felt more often than not. It was light and fluffy, and grew in one's chest, warming their entire body no matter how cold they were. And now, our young boy was certainly feeling light and fluffy, his face painted in joy as he looked over to his new friends. Rose was sitting too far away. No, they couldn't have that now could they?
Making grabby hands towards the gram crackers she was offering, he saw his chance while she was distracted pulling them out. Untangling himself from Mic, he pulled Rose into the snug pile, hugging her tight. The way they were sitting, a fallen log was against their back and the fire was warming them, shining on their faces as spyrates danced underneath the logs.
"I've been to camp a lot," Earl confessed with a grin, taking a careful bite out of his smore. He'd just washed his hair and wasn't a big fan of taking bits and marshmallow out of it, or trying to clean chocolate stains from his clothes. "It was great. Every night we'd have a huge bonfire and sang songs. And the older kids would try and scare us with 'stories'."
Settling down better between his two friends, Earl slid down to a more comfortable position, smiling up at the two of them. This was one of those perfect moments which would stay suspended in eternity, captured by the fire spyrates in a way no phone ever could. "This is nice," he sighed.
Ugh sorry Im drawing a blank

Michael watched Earl mostly, though his eyes slid over to Rose, too. Earl was so different from anyone else Michael had met at Hogwarts, heck, so different than anyone else he ever met. The boy was just . . . different.
Michael leaned closer to Earl´s ear, to make sure he was heard. ¨Can you change anything else besides your hair?¨He asked curiosity, as he looked over Earl´s features as if trying to spot a difference. He tried to imagine the boy with blue eyes, then purple. He tried to imagine him with green eyes, then Blonde hair. No many what he tried Earl could only be one way in his mind.
Michael´s attention turned to the other girl as she spoke, he thought she was nice, though for some reason he felt more drawn to the boy that sat wrapped in his coat, and warmed by his body heat.
He wondered how they would react to his secret, his furry little problem. .
Would they be scared of him? Fearful of the monster he was, or so he was called. Michael looked from one of them to the other. No, they wouldn't be, they were just too. . . real, to hate him for that.
