Rumors/gossip you might have heard about Henry ~ReducioHenry Knight
is overall a quiet and background type of guy which means there aren't many rumours about him going around but there are still a few that are spread around the school about him. Maybe you heard that he's a know it all or a geek/nerd that is at the top of all his classes in his year. Maybe you seen/heard that his hand is always up in any class and the boy always has the answer for questions pertaining to academics. Or maybe you heard that the boy is a sight for eyes with his dreamy blue eyes and perfectly tan skin. Maybe you saw him in the corridors and like most think that the boy is quite cute or had such beautiful features. Or maybe you heard about the rather popular rumour that the boy teaches himself advanced lessons and learns from his older brother during the summer holiday. Then there's the true and popular gossip that Henry Knight is a Duelist on the slytherin dueling team which leads to the rather popular rumours that the boy knows a few advanced but dark spells and jinxes.
Henry Knight found himself walking along the shore of the great lake alone. The grounds was just starting to warm up and the lake was finally melted from the winter. Now that it was March everything seemed to be a bit more cheerful or brighter at least, the sun was high in the sky and Hogwarts students seem to be more likely to hang out around the grounds airy friends laughing and chatting the day away.
Henry walked besides the great lake work his young orange feline; Loki who was pretty well trained to walk beside Henry and not wander well for majority. As the second year smiled down at his orange feline walking slow besides his side before coming to a halt by a large tree that branches hung over the water's edge and turned to look across at the ripping currents with his hands resting in his jean pockets and wand in his jacket pocket.
Loki seem to decide to take a seat next to Henry, flickering his tail from side to side since the cat has never been one to show affection or was ever that friendly. But the feline was getting better and now he was a bit more friendly around strangers and definitely seem to enjoy playing more with both other people and animals.
Henry let the breeze blow through his hair as he thought back to the beginning of the year and how alone or empty felt with reoccurring thoughts of wanting to run away or escape his current life but now from old and new friends and both good and bad experiences the twelve year old felt better and no longer had those thoughts. For the first time in his life he felt like he found his place.
Nothing on him would say that he was a slytherin, never really caring for the houses especially since his best friend was a hufflepuff then his other close friends belong to gryffindor, hufflepuff, and ravenclaw. Although someone could know what house he was in having see him at the duels since the boy wad a dueler for the slytherin dueling team; the Viridian vipers.
After taking a breath and looking into the water silently thinking that today would be a good day to go for a swim with friends before wondering if he should meet up with Logan, Henry Llewellyn, Alexa, Rose, or even Scarlett and better question where were they?
Henry took a step back and decided to go look for his friends not expecting to make a new one that day.

A Little Fun
At Hogwarts, peace and calmness was not something Paige found easily; least of all at Hogwarts. The place was quite chaotic, in her very humble opinion. Either it was getting an 'E' instead of an 'O', Forgetting the password to your dormitory, Paige was slightly annoyed with everyone having a problem all around her. At least at her muggle school, there was a fine line between chaos, and normal. But here? That fine line seemed to have been smudged with a dirty eraser. Things were everywhere. And Paige didn't quite enjoy that in the least.Hey, you, @Henry Knight!
While she did enjoy some gossip here and there, it was nice when she walked out to a peaceful setting. Okay, maybe peaceful wasn't the right word. Kids were still laughing away with their friends, but Paige blocked out all the noise except that of the lake. She got that nice breeze she always enjoyed from outside.
And as her feet hit the grass, she decided today was a good day to look for some lizards. She let her eyes scan the ground. And she found the best lizard. She scooped it up in her hands. The lizard didn't protest and she let it walk, scooping her hands under the lizard here and there so he didn't fall off. But at one point, he leaped from her hands and she yelped in surprise as it scurried down the hill to the lake. She ran after it, but it blended in too well. She scanned the ground, but slowly looked up. A boy was standing there with a cat. Paige debated walking away or talking to him. She was sure she heard about him through the grape vine. He was shy, she remembered. He was great at charms, so good, he was a duelist. If those were true, maybe she would find out. She offered a kind smile to him. "Hey, what's up? I'm Paige. "

Henry took a breath as he stared along the edge to the ripping water where the giant squid laid hidden. The second year wished he could see the sea creature but chances are he was more likely to see it in his common room with windows over looking the great lake so instead he took a step back and figure that he should go meet one of his friends as his mind wandered on where perhaps Logan, Alexa, Rose, Henry Llewellyn, or even Scarlett was that was when a another voice popped up.
Turning his head slightly to meet eyes with a girl. A girl perhaps a year younger that is skinny with dark skin and curly hair, not technically sure who she was so Henry assumed that she was a first year.
Smiling at her words, Henry would speak" hello, Paige. I'm Henry and this is Loki," the second year pointed to his orange feline who now was up on his feet and sniffing Pagie before stopping in between the two students and sitting down going his shirt approval meow as his way of saying she can touch him.
Smiling at his feline Henry spoke" you can pet him if you like," before glancing for a moment in the rippling water before back at Paige as he spoke" so what brings you out here if you don't mind me asking?"

A Little Fun
That smile. It was so bright and nice and beautiful. It was that if the boys. He smiled right at Paige, and introduced himself as Henry, and his cat Loki. "Henry? If I'm not mistaken, that means royal. Nice to meet you." She gave a playful curtsey. Paige stood still as to not startle the feline friend as he sniffed her. Finally, giving a meow of approval, Loki sat down between the two. Henry said she could pet her and Paige smiled once more and bent down to gently rub behind the ears of Loki. Henry asked what brought her here, and Paige was surprised for she had just been about to ask the small thing. "I was actually just about to ask you that. But you beat me to it, so Let me answer." She smiled. ""Same as you, I'm guessing. Just here to enjoy the calmness and the beauty of, well-" She spread her arm out. ""All of it.'What brings you here, @Henry Knight ?
Loki was a very pretty cat, Pauge thought. And she liked the name, too. She wondered where it came from. She looked back 9ut at the lake and was silent for a moment. "Its so nice out..." She glanced at Henry. "Have you ever seen the giant squid? I haven't, but I really want to."

Henry couldn't help but break into a small laughter at Paige's remark about his name before taking control of his emotions again and speaking" I guess it's rather popular name for in royalty but-" smiling a bit at the Paige and for a moment thinking before he continued" Paige means helper, right and in ancient times Paige was a name to call a Knight in training," smiling a bit before looking away for a moment he did just spew out and some thought that was weird so Henry let his eyes hit the surface of the water.
Loki enjoyed the attention he wad getting but he didn't purr, the feline never purred. However when Henry would hear her voice again, the twelve year old would look at her with a smile and a bit of a laugh as he listened to her before saying after, "yeah that sounds like my reason as well," Henry would smile at her before hearing her question and looking across at the rippling water as he spoke"the slytherin common room look into the lake so I seen it a few times" before noticing that he voiced his house and the twelve year old has zeros prejudices against other houses and blood so he spoke" yeah I'm a slytherin, I'm not like most and I have zero prejudices."

Henry clearly was a kind one. In fact, he was one of the best kinds of people. One who smiles a lot. That was a good thing, she couldn't help but think, because his smile is so handsome. At his response to her name, she scrunched her eyebrows together. She nodded her head with a bemused smile. "Yeah... that's right! You're a clever one." Once again, she offered a smile. She thought for a moment before adding, "Though, in all honest truth, I didn't even know about that knight part. That's cool." Henry looked away for a moment back to the lake, and Paiges eyes followed the the lovely view.well, aren't you clever, @Henry Knight
Once again, Henry flashed a smile. It really was a great smile, which only proves that a smile is the best thing to wear. "Ah ha, see? I'm clever too." She tapped her head before laughing. He mentioned that his common room looked into the lake and her eyes raised with interest. But Henry seemed to realize something before assuring he didn't care about blood status. " Slytherin, huh? I'm a Hufflepuff. And a muggle born too,so I'm glad." She raised an eyebrow. "Needless to say... a badger could totally take a snake paws down... we bite, watch out." She laughed and hoped she didn't sound stupid. But it was true, she liked badgers. She titled her head. "So... are you the adventurous type? I am"

Embarrassment was filling within the twelve year old as his anxiety rose, still staring at the rippling current of the lake but then something else happen. The second year heard her words and looked to meet her eyes with a smile as he saw that she didn't think of his rambling as weird and was kind. This girl, Paige was kind.
Henry would smile at her, watching as she smiled back which was a beautiful on as he replied" I'm a bookworm so, just I don't wear glasses and always have a book in my nose," laughing a bit at the joke as he enjoyed Paige's company.
Loki seem to as well, as the feline was seat in between the two students and eyes flicker from one to the other as if the cat was listening to them.
Cracking a bit of a laugh with his smile toward Paige joke about being clever and tapping her head, this was fun. It was rare to come along fun now especially at Hogwarts, especially for Henry Knight.
Hufflepuff and a muggleborn, a smile from Henry as he joked pretending to look dramatically around, " a muggleborn hufflepuff and a pureblood slytherin as friends, don't let the others find out or their jinx us," before breaking down into laughter as he thought about the last time he just joked around with someone, it has been around at least a few months.
Hearing her next comment, the twelve year old would smile as he replied" why fight when badges and snakes work better as a team," a smile only widen on his lips when he heard her next comment in which he would say.
"I would say am the adventurous type, why what do you have in mind?"
@Frost Cira will be catching them and giving them detention for jumping into the lake. They haven't yet, just letting Paige know

She could tell Henry was relieved that she didn't judge him. About what, she didn't know. But she was reading his body language, the only thing she could read. She playfully, and gently, shoved him. "Ew! Bookworm! I'm just kidding. I just can't read-" She tucked her arms together and looked at the lake, slightly embarrassed. She hadn't meant to spill that but it was of course too late. But she looked up again, at his laugh. His laugh was amazing too!What are you thinking, @Henry Knight?
Paige was enjoying this. She had come for peace and quiet, but right now, she had never been more glad for excitement. Henry dramatically looked around and cracked a joke, laughing afterward. Paige didn't know why, but she found it HILARIOUS. Joining Henry's awesome laugh, she finally caught her breath. She nodded. "Huh. I never thought of it that way- Smart. And if you add their skills-" She pretended to calculate in her head, "Better together!" Then Henry smiled and said he was adventurous. She gave a mischievous smile. She crossed her arms and looked at the lake with a smile. "Doesnt it seem like a nice day for a swim?"

Henry felt Paige lightly shove him and heard her joke, instead of panicking or his anxiety rising. The twelve year old would brush back a few strands of hair and laugh as he replied" you can't read, so what. I bet you have loads of other talents," smiling a bit at the girl while meeting her eye finding that this special interaction wasn't awkward or anxiety rising but instead fun.
This moment of laughter and joking was brilliant to Henry. The boy was laughing and enjoying the company of another, two things that he doesn't do a lot especially not with a stranger but yet a part of him felt like Paige wasn't a stranger. It almost felt like they knew each other for years and were casually goofing around with each others like friends normally do, weird.
Laughing a bit at her joke and movements as she pretended to calculate causing the smile on his gave to widen and also there was a break in laughter, Henry would reply" that's why others keep us separate because together badgers and snakes can rule," breaking into laughter again noticing Paige laughing as well and taking a note that her laughter was light and beautiful, like it was full of joy and adventure.
Henry saw her mischievous smile and gave her a smile in return when he heard her comment causing a look toward the lake before back at the girl, " perfect way to cool off," before taking his jacket off and bending down to pull of his socks and sneakers placing them in a neat pile with his wand.
Henry would then stand and his smile filled with mischief as he spoke" the question is through are you brave enough to jump in?"

She smiled at his kind words. Other talents, yeah. And 'so what'. The kindest words she has heard all year. Her inability to read was no matter to him. And she liked that. "Well, Yeah. I can do hip hop and basketball. I can watch Horry movies with no reaction larger then a gasp..." She raised her eyebrows. Again, with the jokes. It was amazing. "That's totally true! Unstoppable. " This boy- he had the right point of view on things. Paige loved it, because she could casually joke with him. It came naturally when she was with Henry. He was cool. It probably came naturally for him.Is that a challenge?@Henry Knight
Only then did she noticed she hasn't laughed this much in a whole day yet with him it was in less than an hour. That was crazy. Henry smiled at her comment before taking off his jacket, shoes, and socks. Paige slipped off her pink jacket and her conversation. She took off her socks that had tiny peaches all over them, and tied her hair up. She set her wand with her things. She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms. "Is that a challenge, Mr. Royalty?"
She walked closer to the lake. She turned to him again. " I'd go Head first."
