A story for @ Laura Thompson Brook
Samantha was sitting on the grass by the Great Lake. There weren't much other students outside, as most of the students still had classes and it was a windy day. The cold didn't botter Samantha, as she was wearing her winter cloak. On the girls lap lay an open book, but the girl didn't bother to read it nor look at it. She didn't come to the lake to read, she was there to relax and had brought her book for when she got bored. In Samantha's dorm there were always some girls talking and giggling, the Ravenclaw common room was usually crowded with students, so the great lake was the best place to be alone sometimes.
Samantha had putted her hair in a quick ponytail before she went outside, so her long brown hair wouldn't be blown in her face by the wind. She preferred to have her hair in two Dutch braids, but since she wasn't able to braid herself she had to wear her hair differently. When Samantha was still at home her mother or sister would braid her hair. Samantha had never botter to ask them if they would teach her to braid her own hair, something she regretted now.
As the young girl was deep in her own toughs she hadn't noticed that the wind had blown away the bookmark out of her book. When Samantha looked back at her book she saw that her bookmark was missing. Normally Samantha wouldn't have cared that she lost her bookmark, but this was a special bookmark. She had gotten it for her 11th birthday from her older sister. On the bookmark was a picture of Samantha and her older sister Anne. This bookmark was something Samantha hold very dear. As soon as the young girl had noticed her bookmark was gone, she closed her book and started running around the great lake in hopes to find her bookmark.

Laura was doing cartwheels down to the great lake when she saw a Ravenclaw girl running towards what looked like a bit of paper it was hard to see because she was so far away. Then Laura stopped doing cartwheels and went to help the Ravenclaw girl get her paper, but as Laura was running down the hill she fell. She got up and carried on running a bit slower this time. Laura had reached the girl and was running by her the girl smiled at her and Laura grinned back. Laura turned to look where she was going and saw the paper had stopped as the wind had stopped too Laura leapt high and grabbed the paper it turned out they had been running in circles around the great lake. Laura held the paper in her hand and handed to the girl, but suddenly fell in the great lake something was pulling on her leg she tried desperately to get to the surface, but it was no use she was going deeper and deeper into the great lake. She kicked at the thing tugging her leg, but then another few of the same creatures began tugging on her leg too.
