There was a lot of bad luck involved for this round as barely anyone got their way. Serena was, however, on the top of her game and would dodge spells left and right. Of course not without also hitting her target, being the only one to do this during this very moment. Xailah was hit by Ventus, making her slip up momentarily with the song, shocking the girl out of the spell; or perhaps this was a coincidence? It didn't really matter as the girl would now be surrounded in a small tornado, gusts of winds spiraling around her, tearing at her precious hair. Xailah in an attempt to get to Ana did not calculate in that the way of randomly shooting in a direction and hoping to hit someone did not pay out this time despite having shown to be a successful tactic previously, as Ana somehow saw the spell coming and dodged out of its way. Ana would try to get to Serena, missing her by miles when Alan followed her example. But as he was about to cast an odd feeling overcame him, making the spell fizzle right after he had cast it successfully; what a shame it had such powerful potential.

Wl, that was disappointing. Ana's spell missed and it seemed nearly everyone else did. Everyone except for her target, that was. Serena managed to hit the Gryffindor prefect she'd been targeting, while still twisting out of the way of the spells that had been shot at her. She was definitely the person to take out.

Perhaps there was some psychic Gryffindor way to signal the others to go for Serena as well. Probably not, but Ana could hope. Once she'd dodged the spell that Xailiah had sent her way, she darted after Serena once more. Hair flying wildly behind her, Ana wove around in an attempt to position herself in the best possible place to eliminate her target.

"Flipendo!" she said with a flick of her wand. Her heart wasn't in her pursuit of Serena the way it had been in her pursuit of Scarlett, but she still wanted to win. Inhaling, she hoped that her spell would cast and land true. The game felt like it had been going for ages, and she was ready to end it one way or another. Even if she didn't win, making it to the last four out of fourteen was no unimpressive feat. Especially considering she hadn't put any sort of thought into strategy beyond hexing Scarlett for fun.

Serena successfully cast the spell but it did not work as well as she would have hoped. Her idea was to try and lower her target down to the ground, enough that they would be disqualified. Unfortunately, she had failed in that regard. She did, however, manage to dodge multiple incoming attacks from the other two targets.

Turning her attention to one of the other two, she quickly eyed for the closest. They were firing something at her without restraint. Raising her wand, she frowned slightly. She wanted to disable them and knock them out of the game. But she did not want to actually hurt any of them. That was the issue here. Trying to win a game of Shuntbumps without throwing a flipendo was likely impossible. But nonetheless, she was attempting it. Getting to the top four was a success enough for her, in all honesty.

Leaning forward, she quickly whizzed through the air, dodging the incoming attacks as best as possible whilst positioning herself closer to her target. She did not have a specific person in mind but she did not want to disable one of them before they could flipendo her again. Or at least, that was her goal, "Expelliarmus!" She called out, raising her wand. If everyone lost their wand, the game was pretty much over.

Could this get any more tedious? It could. And it would. Xailah could feel the song that had forced itself from her throat, begin to die down. Control over her voice was gradually returned. There would however, be something that forced the song out completely- a Ventus, from that incredibly elusive badger cub. That honey-clad girl was more trouble than she ought to have been. The Hufflepuff was not only capable of dodging all the spells sent her way, but she was also able to cast a spell on her own- all at the same time. That child was clearly anything but human. It was looking as if Xailah needed to hop on the 'Flippendo the Hufflepuff to Infinity and Beyond' bandwagon, that the other Gryffindor girl was pulling.

The Flippendos were going to have to wait at the moment. Xailah needed to take care of herself first. The conjured wind was sure to distract the lioness from pursuing her future targets, which was no good. The artificial breeze whipped her hair about, and sent the collar of her jumpsuit towards the darkened sky. Good thing she hadn't opted to wear something loose-fitting, because that would have been... a thing. Slightly embarrassing at worst- and looking like a Victorian miss Monroe at best. Squinting through the wild mane that presently blocked some of her vision, she would bring her wand closer to her person. Hopefully she could rid of the miniature tornado that entrapped her.

Xailah was still above, as little spirals of wind would whirl around her, tugging at her broom and making it more difficult to steer. This would make dodging fairly difficult but she was in luck that no one seemed to be taking advantage of this sort of situation. This would give the perfect opportunity for herself to reverse such effects the spell had taken on her and she wouldn't let it go as she would cast the general counter charm, saving herself from possible embarrassment. She was doing a lot better now that she did not have to busy herself, singing her lungs out.

Right then and there Ana would cast a spell of her own, directing it towards Serena, hitting her side with a nasty Flipendo that would probably leave a terrible bruise. Alan would have to cringe at the sight, hoping that the short girl was still alright. But he had already made up his own target as he knew, that this girl was dangerous and could quickly grasp the victory for herself. He did not want to hurt her further but would at least wish to somewhat slow her down; so he would cast a spell. Alan would watch as she also would target him, but something must have gone wrong as right as she was casting the spell, her wand was propelled away from her, flying out of her grasp, right as a blindfold would wrap around her head. The spell had hit her poorly right as she critically messed up her own spell, allowing her to still see bits of movement through the loosely tied blindfold. But at least she had been able to hold onto her broom.

A decent cast of Finite Incantatem, and Xailah would be free of her windy confines. "Finite Incantatem." Her length of chestnut wood, curved through the air in a shield-like shape- with some reluctance at first due to the winds- as she said the incantation. The wand bathed its wielder in the rays of a warm, sanguine light- a clear sign of success. There. All better. With the gale gone, Xailah could focus a bit better. She took a moment to shake her head, allowing her long, dark waves to fall back into place. The wefts fell lightly against her angled features, and upper back.

Ugh. Alright. Time to join the pride and gang up on the Hufflepuff- who was not only wandless, but partially blind now too. Now how did she manage that? It was hardly a fair fight. But since when was being fair fun? Or required, for that matter? The badger had it coming anyways. With a huff, and a squirm, Xailah readjusted herself on her broom. The fuzzy dice that hung like a Sword of Damocles from the broomstick, swung to and fro. Xailah extended her arm, declaring her target. The dark splinter of wood that she wielded, stared down at the tiny badger.

The past few seconds were a total ride for Serena. It did not go well by any definition of the word but there were definitely some things that she was holding on to. Her wand was not one of those. It flew right out of her hand before she could stop it. But she did manage to find herself grabbing the broom and holding on, despite getting hit hard. The spell the other two hit her with was successful. She could not tell which hit her with a flipendo and which one tried to blindfold her as everything happened way too quickly but she did know that she had managed to hold on, despite that and that she could still partially see somehow.

She frowned, trying to figure out what to do. There was a lot of different tactics and strategies that could be used but she could not work her head around all of them. She just played the game and if it was fun, it was fun. That was all there really was. She was trying to win but not at the expense of others in pain, which would definitely be her downfall. That was something she was aware of, it was likely why she was in the position she was in. However, she had no choice but to continue to try. Raising a hand, she started with the obvious tactic. Remove the blindfold to help her actually see better.

When Xailah came from the heavens to inact her playful wrath, Serena would be put out of her misery. Unable to pry the blindfold off of herself, she would barely make out the shape of someone flying towards her and shouting those familiar words before being pushed away, her hands too preoccupied to hold on.

Elsewhere, the unforgiving winds of the rolling hills of Scottland would not wait idly by. The two others were whipped around by a pocket or torrential winds, nearly bucking Anastasia from her mount, if her grip hadn't been so strong. Alan, on the other hand, seemed to be hugging his broom, as he was under no threat... yet.

Well, focusing on what she was doing might be a good strategy... Her thoughts drifted for a moment. What she was thinking about was hard to say. Perhaps she had just gone too long without a solid minute of angst, or perhaps she was contemplating the secrets of the universe. In any event, she wasn't thinking about Shuntbumps.

That was nearly detrimental. Upon returning from zoning out, she noticed two things.

The first thing she noticed was that Serena went tumbling from her broom, meaning there was one less competitor. That left her, Alan, and the Gryffindor prefect with the cat. What was her name again?

The second thing was that there was a massive gust of wind and she was about to be flung off her broom. She was unseated, but her fingers held on with a death grip. After dangling for a moment, she swung herself back up into a sitting position. Head back in the game, she selected another target. The game surely couldn't continue much longer, and she couldn't afford to zone out once more. She had come too far to do anything other than win, which was exactly what she was going to do. With an unnecessarily intricate bit of flying, she flicked her wand at her chosen victim. "Flipendo! she cried.

"Flipendo!" A blue light flung itself from the length of chestnut, that the metamorph grasped. The light would find the small badger cub with ease. The spell embraced the girl in its blue rays- marking the end of her run. There was some satisfaction to be found, in being the one to knock the badger off of her broom. Xailah wasn't a sadist- hardly came close to being so- but that girl had put up a good chase. It was natural to feel some sort of gratification upon snuffing a challenge. Eyes alit with an unnatural glow, would watch as the girl fell- a blindfold still shrouding her face. The people below would take care of the girl, Xailah was certain of it. She had to wonder though- was the badger afraid? Was the girl afraid of the uncertainty- of not knowing if she would be delivered to the ground without harm? Or did the lack of sight bring ease- a sense of safety? The idea that if she couldn't see anything, then anything was incapable of harming her. Which is it, half pint?

Now, it was Xailahs turn to give a chase. She was so close now- she couldn't possibly call it quits this far into the game- not that she had thought about doing so. 'Quitting' when used in the present context, was not part of her vocabulary. So the game was probably going to be a long one; considering the people remaining appeared to be determined folk. Especially that leather clad girl. All three Gryffindors wanted to win. The only problem was there could only be one winner, and Xailah so desperately wanted to carry victory to her fallen friends. If the other two wanted the title, they could try for it. They were just going to have to catch the prefect first.
