This round seemed to be a good regrouping round for all. Mars dodged a spell that never came their way; at least they were quite prepared. This was a good practice dodge. Celynne cast another Healing Spell toward Mars, giving them another reprieve from their symptoms. Amadea appreciated the efforts that the Ravenclaws were taking to keep each other in the duel; she knew that sometimes duels could become quite ruthless and become a massacre of shooting spells toward opponents but it was nice to see the teammates working together. After all, it was a team sport and people needed to depend on each other.

Unfortunately, it looked like the Slytherin team was having a more difficult time. Illowy was also using the regrouping tactic, casting the Knockback Jinx at the bubbles, successfully removing some of them. Her cold was worsening, the nausea threatening to overcome her. Erik, on the other hand, didn’t case a spell at all. Perhaps this was like the previous tactic where neither of them had cast a spell. Nevertheless, Amadea was still perplexed. This was unlike a duel she had ever seen and she was excited to see where it would go.

The consistent showers of purple sparks were doing wonders for their clogged nose. As they faded once more, Mars felt as though they could stand forever, wand spinning in their right hand. They gave Cel a grin before turning to state through the fog once more.

There was a flash of light from the Slytherin side and Mars side-stepped preemptively, ready to dodge if it came this way. Only, it didn't, and they could hear the faint clink of their unbreakable bubbles moving in the distance. Huh. Interesting choice. Nothing else came from the hazy cloud and they frowned.

"Huh, I guess they've give up," they mused. It wouldn't be a bad outcome really. But they'd hoped for a little more fight till the end.

She repeated the cast once again, the incantation passing her lips smoothly—this was quickly becoming a very useful spell, and one that she would undoubtedly have a lot of practice at. In fact, judging from the year level of her classmates, she might as well be the only
one who knew the healing spell, though she knew some like herself had learned ahead—after all, she wasn't exactly squinting through the smoke to see what they were doing. Save for the shifting of a few bubbles glinting in gold through the clouds of grey, she couldn't see any movement at all, actually—how were they doing?

Cel shook her head. Not worth focusing on right now. "Better?" she asked, turning her attention back to her partner.

The players continued to regroup in this round. The Ravenclaws took a similar approach to the last round, Mars ready to dodge a spell that did not come their way and Celynne casting a Healing Spell on herself. What confused Amadea was the Slytherins did not cast any spells this round, not on themselves or their opponents. Perhaps it was another part of their strategy, but whatever it was, they stood still, not really moving at all. Maybe it was because Illowy would feel her nausea becoming so bad it felt like she was going to pass out - to be honest, she did not look great. Amadea would never say that out loud, but she felt so badly for the poor Slytherin who was still covered in bubbles. Erik's Curse of Bogies would be getting worse too. It seemed like this duel was starting to reach a turning point, heading toward the end. However, there was still a long way to go. Amadea was excited to see what would happen.

Once again, Mars side-stepped a spell that never flashed through the hazy veneer. They turned to Cel, watching the same purple sparks shower around their partner instead. Good. That would help with the fire damage a little.

The smoke was starting to fade, the outlines of the two Slytherins coming into full view across the pitch. Illowy wasn't looking so hot- the effects of Curse of the Bogies must be getting to her. Erik wasn't as bad, but not much better. Mars grinned, raising their wand. Time to finish this.
