Holly had gone out to the Courtyard, she still was getting used to life at Hogwarts, she still hadn't spoken to many people yet
She sat down on one of the walls, pulling her cloak tighter around her to protect her from the freezing cold weather, her scarf was pulling all the way up to her neck and the hat pulled low down on her head
She pulled her notebook from her pocket, rubbing her gloved hands together before grabbing the quill that she'd placed inside her other pocket, she opened the notebook to the nearest blank page before placing the tip of her quill to the paper, but she paused when she heard people near her
Instinctively she shut the book, even though she hadn't yet wrote anything in there
She looked up and looked around the courtyard, there was almost no one else there, her breath fogging the air around her
"Hi" She said when she saw someone else making their way over to her, she placed the notebook down on the wall next to her and the quill back in her pocket
Holly was certainly trying to be more friendly and social, after all a new school, a new life. She planned to make more friends, or at least try to

William stepped out of the castle, the cold winter breeze blowing through his shoulder length, brown hair. He looked around at the snow on the ground and sighed a little. He definitely didn't like that snow, but despite that, the weather didn't bother him much. As a matter of fact the cold wind made him secretly feel kind of cool. He realized the irony of that thought and shook his head like he always did, beginning to walk through the courtyard with a smile on his face.

The first thing he saw was a head of pink hair, such a confusing color, but it probably has something to do with preference. Then he saw the two girls talking to one another. The one one had brown hair, a more normal colored compared to her friend. That's when William realized the girl in the pink hair was none other then Ginger herself, the girl he had tried to defuse a situation for. Yeah, that totally worked. It can be assumed that his father's negotiation and defusing skills did not pass down to his son.

He walked up to the two girls, saying, "Hello, I'm William." He then looked directly at Ginger and said, "Look...I'm sorry about what happened in our last interaction. I should've been able to help but I couldn't..hope you're feeling better now." He finished with a slight nod to her. He hoped she could tell he was being sincere, because he didn't want to cause another problem with her.
