What type of animal does your character hope to become?
Some kind of bird, maybe. An owl, so slinking around the wizarding world would be easier. A crow, to strike fear in the hearts of others. A gull or something reminiscent of Brighton. She's not put much thought in it past this.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?
Calanthe isn't so sure that she actually wants to be an animagus. Rather, signing up for the club is more of a way to force herself to get out of bed when there's no classes to do that for her. And what better way to do so than learning about this whole animal transformation shindig. "That's what this is right? We just ... become animals? Because that's cooler than the dang debate club." As for the avian choice, they can go very high up, far away from other people. Sounds like the perfect choice for when she needs some alone time. Also, flight.

What do you hope to get from this group?
FRIENDSHIP, character development, thread hooks, more connections and people to hail out in events. Summer trips sound like a helluva time.

As an afterthought, I've added student years to the roster, just so we know how close each member is to being eligible, plus a short description on role concepts.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?
Possibly mammals with fluffy fur. Lindsey had experienced the feeling of flying through Quidditch, and she’d like to try something new, some animals that’s agile and good at jumping around and tree-climbing. For now, she currently feels most connected with the Red Squirrel.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?
Being relatively agile and intelligent in act, the red squirrels are not mischievous, but open minded and outgoing. They might not be one of the most creative creatures, but surely they are resourceful and willing to learn about the outside world. When they relax among the branches, the red squirrels are gentle and passionate, all in all an adorable little creature. Lindsey had been a curious child with rebellion running in her guts (though she wasn’t aware of it for the most of times) all her life, and she’s passionate, friendly and sociable, according to what the author behind had set up for her. Just like a squirrel, in act Lynn’s usually calm and strategic, but during off days, she’d get energetic and playful for most of the times. Pride plays a large part in her life too, and it might have something to do with the furry red coat she would gain after becoming an Animagus (like, who would keep humble with such a beautiful outfit?).

For IC reason, Lindsey basically loves these fluffy little animals. In her mind, it would be cool to actually become one of them, and therefore she’d be able to experience tree-climbing, agile movements, and other cool things. And among all the squirrels, the red squirrel’s the best looking little creature with furry red fur and beautiful large brown eyes (which are just like her own ones) to Lynn. Her great-grandfather is strict to her family, especially to her, and becoming an Animagus could be seen as a rebellion move, which she’s desperately interested in. Due to her brother’s suggestion, she starts doing researches on this ability during the winter vacation of second year, and is currently very ambitious for this new plan.

Also, the writer behind had prepared some important plots for Lynn Springhall, and becoming an animagi is part of the plan *smirks*. She’d be facing bigger things in the future, and with the Animagus ability it would be easier for Lindsey to go through the difficulties.

What do you hope to get from this group?
New friends. Connections. People with the same interest. Useful researches. And finally, for the author behind, character development, plots planning and writing opportunities.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?
Lillian hopes to become a wild cat of some sort; a bobcat or a lynx would be nice. She's read about how they can jump so high/far, and thinks that they're really cute, too, and agile. At one point in time, she thought it would be nice to be a dolphin, but her fear of the sea got to her.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?
Lillian has always wanted to be an Animagus, since she read about them in some book or the other. (As a child, she used to love the animorph books, and thought that shapeshifting was the coolest kind of "magic"). Like bobcats, Lillian prefers sunset and sunrise to the day. She's also incredibly active/energetic, which is another similarity she shares with wild cats. Most wild cats are also mostly solitary, and Lillian, though incredibly talkative, is not the most productive with other people. Overall, a type of wild cat would fit Lillian very well.

What do you hope to get from this group?
I'd love to make new friends, have Lillian go through new experiences, and use this as an opportunity to build Lillian's character even more (and do more roleplay threads). As someone above said, summer trips would be awesome.

Welcome Lillian! I was a major fan of Animorphs growing up too, wonder if that was subconscious inspiration

I can't say for certain when our first event will be, but I'm gunning for something either late this month, early next month. We'll kick things off with a chill meeting of members to share who they are and what their Animagi aspirations may be.
