Whats the point?

Aaaand, here she was again. In the library! Of all places! What were her teachers thinking when they assigned her this book work!? History of Magoc required Paige to read and she struggled with that. She struggled with ELA had her muggle school, she was the lowest. (She did excel at P.E, though.) Honestly, in her humble opinion, the only thing you really need to read are instructions. Specifically on quick heat up mac and cheese containers. But that was still besides the point. The point was that she needed to do work, and go to the library in order to try her very best on it. So off she went to her doom.
She had managed to walk into the library like a human and not the cluzt she truly was, so that was a goal. Now she needed to do homework. Boo. Placing her book down on the table, and setting some parchment on the table next to her, she opened the book with a huge sigh.
She frowned slightly as she began to read, stumbling over words here and there. After what felt like a thousand years but what was really an hour, she checked how far she had gotten. "19 pages in. This is why I dont read!"

Whats the point?
As Paige was getting ready to throw the book across the library, she closed her eyes to take deep breaths. This wasn't enjoyable. Maybe... maybe she could... but no. She shouldn't. She shouldn't give up. She growled under her breath. This. Was. Torture. Torture not being a term to use lightly, she changed her thoughts to it was absolute... a pain in the butt. So frankly, she didn't want to do this. She could be doing better things such as practicing her dances. But that wouldn't give her a good grade so she did, in fact, have to do homework.
She glanced up as a girl with pink hair turned, clearly meaning to sit in this empty spot. Paige clocked her head and frowned, shaking her head and getting up. "Hey- uh. You can sit here. I was just trying to do my homework but it isn't working. I'm not very smart." She 9fgered a weak smile before getting ready to gather her things. She stopped. This girls eyes were quite pretty. They were blue and it finished off her pink hair in a nice way. Paige absent mindedly shifted her weight before holding out her hand to shake. "I'm Paige, by the way. "

She glanced up as a girl with pink hair turned, clearly meaning to sit in this empty spot. Paige clocked her head and frowned, shaking her head and getting up. "Hey- uh. You can sit here. I was just trying to do my homework but it isn't working. I'm not very smart." She 9fgered a weak smile before getting ready to gather her things. She stopped. This girls eyes were quite pretty. @Ginger CrowdyPaige raised her eyebrows. "Um, no? I've never heard of you- but that's a good thing, and don't worry. I'm clumsy, too..." Ginger smiled at Paige, who offered back a smile. "Well, thanks, Ginger, that's very ni-" Paige closed her mouth to let Ginger finish. Paige nodded but furrowed her eyebrows. "Well, I never said I was stupid..." She had only said she wasn't very smart. " I meant to say, with school work. I'm not very smart with school work. " Then as Ginger laughed, Paige felt offended. Being a muggle-born, it felt like she was suggesting... "Um, I'm here because I'm a witch? " But she shrugged it of and offered a smile. Ginger walked over and asked another question. "Hm? Oh, histo-" but Ginger had answered her own question. Okay.
"Um, yeah... that... thingy-" Paige raised her eyebrows. Ginger seemed to have read her mind, for she hasn't mentioned yet that she doesn't like to read. "Um, no... I can't read... without major headaches. But it seemed Ginger was done talking, and Paige reluctantly spoke. " Problem? That I hafta read this- in order to answer the questions. She glanced at Ginger, wondering what she would say next.
