Dear mum and dad,
I am quite sorry I haven't been speaking to you much but I was settling into Hogwarts, and, I think it was worth it ! I have made one friend so far.. Her name is Rose Moon and she is ever so friendly, she's a half blood just like us too ! I am missing you a lot, and guess what house I'm in !

How did you know ?! Rose is really fun and cool, I haven't done anything with her yet, but I think we might make lots of new memories ! Yes, I am in Ravenclaw, though, Haha.

Dad and I thought you were ! You were ever so smart at home and Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff would suit you, more Ravenclaw though, because you can be very funny too ! We are missing you lots and do you still remember our little saying ? "The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep" We love you and we miss you lots and lots !

Thanks for the compliment and how could I ever forget our saying ? I'm probably going to make a one to do with friends for Rose, I'll send some ideas over with the letter, have a little look and see which one you think will be better, love you lots !
