Alexander frowned in annoyance as he saw how Lamik seemed to narrowly dodge out of the way of two of their spells. Then to make things worse the annoyingly evasive blonde Gryffindor hit Ileen. Who was already quite weakened and now seemed to be on the edge. Something that was not a good sign. Especially as he felt himself get more snotty and felt a headache rising.

Then he shook his head a little and focused. Things weren't looking good, but they could still win. Especially as one of the Gryffindors had blindfolded themselves. Things weren't looking good but it wasn't over yet. Not until the last Gryffindor or Slytherin had fallen.

• If a player successfully casts a spell at a part-Human opponent, they get +1 Accuracy if they attack and +1 Evasion if they're being attacked. This doesn't give any IC knowledge of the opponent's race or talent unless found out in advance or revealed during the duel.

Evasive Maneuvers:
• When a spell was successfully cast at a player with Evasive Manoeuvres, a 1d10 roll is performed prior to Accuracy vs Evasion roll to determine whether the spell will be auto-dodged (roll 10). The Accuracy vs Evasion roll will not be needed in case of success.
• The auto-dodge chance can stack only to 20% from any number of sources and in this case 9 or 10 would be considered a success.

Effect: Lamik gets a damage of 140 HP
Damage: 100+ (AP x10)= 100+(4x10)=140 HP -2 AP from COB
This round every spell hit their intended target.

Ileen had set her eyes on Raine, and her Expelliarmus hit the Gryffindor girl and sent her wand flying up in the air; it would take some time for the 3rd year girl to find her wand again. Alexander kept his concentration up as he casted his Flipendo towards Lamik, just like in the previous round; the blue light hit the boy on his arm, and dealt a fair amount of damage.

The Gryffindor team had done quite a good job as well: despite being hit by the Expelliarmus cast by the Slytherin girl, Raine still successfully took the blindfold off; that will definitely make looking for her wand easier than it would have been if she wouldn't have taken the blindfold off. Lamik also did really well: after he got hit by Alexander's spell, Lamik's Flipendo aimed for Ileen hit the girl right in the chest, and Lydia could see the moment when the Slytherin girl fell unconscious.

"Stop!" she said and jumped up on the stage, making sure that the medical staff could take care of her and safely remove her from the duel. "Alright, you can continue now!"

With one duellist unconscious and one wandless, both Slytherin and Gryffindor were on a 1vs1 duel; anything could happen at this point.

Alexander was sweating bullets. The tension was palpable, he was feeling dizzy and knew that he was on a clock. He only had a limited time to take down Lamik whilst holding on against the damned headache.

The cry of Lydia echoed, and then there was a moment of silence and inaction as Ileen was dragged of the field. As she went away he gave a nod of respect to Ileen, before turning to face Lamik.

Alexander looked Lamik right in the eye, cold, determined steel hidden in those dark green orbs. Screaming that Alexander was not going to give up until he was down on the ground. Alexander then gripped his wand tightly, feeling the Cherry oak solidly in his hands. Feeling the vibration and beat of it, corresponding with the beating of his heart.

This was it, this was the confrontation.
Alexander vs Lamik.
Mano e Mano. (Man to Man)
This duel was only going to end two ways. Either he won or he lost.

Ileen raised her wand and pointed it at the girl. She felt her legs shaking, maybe she would not last much longer, but she wanted to give Alexander a fair chance after she had contributed to little. He would probably know how bad she felt about that and that she was terribly sorry. But she was not out yet.
Expelliarmus!” This time, it worked. With all her remaining strength and determination she sent the spell towards the Gryffindor girl. The young Slytherin felt a bit bad attacking someone who was close to defendless, but at least she had only disarmed and not hurt her.
A slight and satisfied smile curled her lips as she watched the wand flying away. her eyes flickered back to the boy who had attacked her several times already. And this time, she was too slow.

The smile disappeared as she was hit right in the chest by his spell. The pain shot hotly through her body and then dully subsided as the image before her eyes tilted and everything went black. Maybe, she thought before losing consciousness, Maybe it’s justice after I knocked out Alexxa last time…

"Some people are in such utter darkness that they will burn you just to see a light."

Raine yanked the stupid blindfold off of her eyes just in time to see Ileen wave her wand in her direction, casting the blasted disarming charm at Raine's hand and knocking the girl's wand out of her firm grip. Annoyance was not even a word that Raine would use to describe this moment. Not only was she getting slower because of this stupid bogies curse, but she was now wandless and couldn't help her teammate until she recovered her wand...wherever it disappeared to.

Thankfully, Lamik's spell connected with the younger Slytherin girl, knocking her out of the match and leaving her partner alone. Internally, Raine cheered, but she was still irritated that she was currently wandless. This would be the perfect time to have practiced and learned wandless magic. But her aunt said she wouldn't train her until she was older so now she had to wait.

Apparently, that Alex kid must have thought she wasn't a threat anymore as he turned from her to focus on her partner. Raine didn't think too much on it though. She had other pressing matters to worry about.

Lamik held back a swear after being hit with a flipendo- cursing was a big nono. Besides, he had room to celebrate! The boy had managed to eliminate one of his opponents from the round, and now that raine had her blindfold off- uh oh. He hadn't realized it until after it had happened, but the girls wand wasn't in her hand. She was hit with an Expelliarmus! Still, he knew what he had to do.

The tension was incredibly high on the platform. Lydia kept observing the scene, as the players decided on their next move. But if the previous round had been quite eventful, this one was definitely calmer.

Despite feeling the effects of the curse getting stronger, with her nose completely closed and a headache that kept getting stronger and stronger, Raine successfully located her wand; this was definitely a step closer to her getting it back.

As for Lamik and Alexander, well, anything could happen; they both appeared incredibly focused, and Lydia could feel her own body tense as she waited to see what they would do. The Slytherin boy raised his wand and from its tip he produced an incredibly powerful Flipendo; if that spell would have hit Lamik, the Gryffindor boy would have definitely gotten quite a lot of damage.

However, Lamik had no intention in getting hit this round. Moving his feet, he effortlessly avoided the Flipendo aimed for him, moving quickly in the other direction. The duel was full of surprises, that was quite obvious. Lydia tried to guess how it might end, but anything was still possible: Raine wasn't looking too well, but neither was Alexander. Could Slytherin change the course of the events and win, or will Gryffindor be the winner today?

Raine was going after her wand- good. That means she'd get back into the fight sooner rather then later. Right now, he had to focus. He was sporting more injuries then he felt comfortable with, and- WOAH!! Regardless to what it looked like to the outside observer, Lamik FELT as though he had only narrowly avoided that extremely scary looking flipendo.

Alexander got a vicious smile as he felt for the first time in a long period, his wand perfectly comply to his will. It sung out to him, rejoicing in the feeling of adrenaline. He could feel the energy gathering in his arms. Then he saw how a huge blast of light came out of his wand.

Only to miss

Alexander's eyes went wide for a moment. Until muttering with a vicious tone. "Are you serious !"

Alexander's eyes narrowed. Though his lucky spell had missed and the headache was getting worse, it was not over yet. Things were looking increasingly unlikely but he had to pull through.

Raine continued to search for her wand, glimpsing it laying on the platform a little away from her. Or was that a piece of turd? Her vision was blurring as the curse was quickly taking its toll on her. She wasn't sure how long she had left before she lost consciousness, but she could pray to whatever was up above would let her at least help her partner out one last time before she woke up on a med bed once again.
