Gryffindor may be the house with all of the main characters, but they can be too brash and reckless and loud - honestly, who would like that sort of person in real life?

Getting an early night is fabulous, change my mind!

Pshhh, when you get an early night you're loosing like an hour of "productivity" @Scarlett Aden. You don't do much while you're asleep, so the best thing is to sleep is as little as possible without it getting unhealthy, so as to have maximum time awake.

However, lie-ins in the morning when you don't have anything to do are heaven, change my mind.

I agree but- Lying in bed all day is being lazy and unproductive, don’t you want to get up, and get out to get some exercise? Even if you have nothing planned, it still feels better and healthier to get up, dressed, and be productive.


I don’t even live there, but I think England is a very interesting country. Change my mind.

Ohhhhhh this won't be hard at all. England is sooo rainy and cold a lot of the time and it isn't exotic or tropical and the historical stuff is just statues and old buildings soo -

But I do love the country (Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have better sightseeing trips though)

No offence, but I just don't like the Professor's title. It sounds ignorant and arrogant to me. Can you change my mind?

Professor came from the Latin language, referring to a "person who professes to be an expert in some art or science; teacher of highest rank", and that was derived from profiteri (to lay claim to, declare openly, ie to profess). It might sound stuffy, but it takes a lot of effort to obtain the title, they had to work hard and earn it! (I like calling my college profs "professor", their names feel too informal but "teacher" would make me feel like I'm in elementary school )

The black Hogwarts uniforms are boring and hideous.

The black uniforms are practical. Students don't have to spend extra time deciding what to wear in the morning, and no one gets teased for not having name-brand clothes and such.

Salt and vinegar potato chips are way better than plain ones. Change my mind!

I cannot argue that the actual series is incredible, but devastatingly JKR is transphobic.
