History/Background Story: Mistie was born in England on April 11th, 2009 to Fernanda Pereira and Marcus Meador. Her Brazilian mother is a Muggle-Born and her Scottish father is a Pureblood. She has an older brother named Matheus, who's a third-year Ravenclaw, and a younger brother and sister who're twins named Frida and Finneas. They went to muggle school in Brighton because their mother wanted them to experience living a non-magic life as children, but they spent a many quality time with their Pureblood relatives, so they grew up respecting both the magic and non-magic worlds. She liked her old school; she had many friends and participated in many activities, such as swimming, pottery, football (soccer), and improv. It was fun and less serious than at Hogwarts, where Mistie quickly found out required way more work and responsibility.

Mistie had a mostly really good childhood because her parents gave their children free reign to be themselves, as long as they did well both in school and their aspirations. On her father's Pureblood side her family mildly dip their fingers in politics, especially anything to do with dark wizards, preferring to focus on their own dreams and chasing them, and pushing others to do the same. On her mother's side, full of muggles, she learned how to blend easily in the muggles world, but still felt superior to them regardless, taking great pride in her magic heritage.

When Mistie was seven her dad was teaching her how to dive but fear had a tight grip on her so her older brother pushed off the diving board in annoyance. But once she hit the water she somehow created a thin layer of air around her body so she didn't drown. No one noticed because when her dad came to check on her the layer disappeared and she was forced to resurface for air.
