Clumsy in the corridors
As everyone flooded out of their classes, noise filled the corridors once more. Cries, and shouts, and laughs, and moans. Maddie studied everyone closely, listening into their conversations, and learning their names, for if someone happened to decide to talk to her, it would be best to at least know a little bit about them.
Maddie laughed silently. It was funny listening to peoples conversations, although a bit rude. She definitely learned a lot of juicy gossip through eavesdropping.
As Maddie walked through the corridors, she though about Hogwarts. She thought a lot, being so lonely. But sometimes it felt good, being alone with your thoughts. Like the world was listening to you.
Maddie opened one of her favorite books, "A history of magic" by Bathilda Bagshot. She flipped through the pages, bumping into the wall ever so slightly, as she continued to walk. She had always liked reading about the times before. And, of course she had plenty of time to think about everything she learned.
Suddenly, Maddie bumped into someone, and the stack of papers and books they were holding flew across the floor. "I am so sorry!" Maddie squeaked, quickly helping them collect all their belongings at once.

"But there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark, you should know you're beautiful just the way you are."

" And they can can grow over 5 feet tall. " She raised her eyebrows and mouth, yeesh as she slipped the page. She had her bag slung over her shoulder as she flipped through a book about plants and examined all the tiny illustrations. She ignored the conversations around her as she looked at the pictures. She stopped and placed it in her bag before pulling out slightly crumbled papers. She started looking through them, her drawings of hip hop dancers. But the papers also had a routine she was making up with them with mini illustrations for each chunk.
" Practice today, noted. But first, survive scho- WOAH!" She slammed into a person and her papers went flying. She made a grab for them but failed. "No, no it's all on me. I want looking." She gave a guilty smile. She took her papers from the girl.
"I do hi hop, I like to plan routines. It's just some drawings of hip hop dancers, got me distracted. So, anyway, what's your name? I'm Paige Grant. Sorry I ran into you." She shifted her bag and tilted her head. "What house are you in? I'm a Hufflepuff. "

@Paige Grant
"Darn it, Maddie. You should have never tried to read and walk at the same time, especially in such busy corridors." Maddie told her self, rolling her eyes.
She looked up at who she had bumped into. "No, no it's all on me. I want looking." The girl said. She took her papers from Maddie, and gave her a smile.

Maddie widened her eyes slightly. Someone was actually talking to her. "Oh...erm...cool...I'm Maddie. Maddie Summers? You...you probably have never seen me. I...I'm a Slytherin." She said, quietly. She hoped that she didn't scare this girl off. A lot of people often thought that all slytherins were horrible evil muggle born haters (Maddie definitely wasn't, being a muggle born herself). But this girl...she seemed pretty nice.
"And...really, its on me. I'm sorry. I was reading while I was walking, so I bumped into you...sorry." Maddie said, picking up her book, and standing up.

Paige had blurted all of this out at the poor girl. Paige helped the girl up and yanked her up with remarkable strength, due to the fact that she's sporty. She laughed. "Oh, well, Hi Maddie! That's a nice name, it's cool." She nodded. She shrugged. "Potato, P-a-tato. Slytherin, Hufflepuff. It's just words." She waved it off to let the girl know that she didn't care if she was a Slytherin. It doesn't define you unless you allow it. I would never judge anyone on their house. Just like I never judge a book by its cover, I judge it for existing. Okay... maybe that's a bad example. I don't like to read, it gives me headaches. Anyway." She tilted her head as the girl once again apologized.. Paige placed her hands on her hips. "This will go all day, girl. It was my fault, not yours. I wasn't looking. She laughed and looked at the book in the girl's hands. " So... what book are you reading, anyway, before I came alone and bumped into you? Not the other way around. " It totally was Paige's fault and she didn't want the girl to blame herself.
